Wasting time for 4 hours in the phone…

Wasting time for 4 hours in the phone with 5 different Tech support and the mini had to reschedule for my exam and paid $12 and it’s not even my fault! I hope all Universities stop using this service. They are horrible and really wasting students money and time.

Horrible horrible horrible

Horrible horrible horrible. I am beyond disbelieved, upset and frustrated from proctoru. I waited for 6 hours for the exam, no one was able to assist me from customer service, and to make things worse, I had to reschedule the exam after waiting 6 hours or more for a proctor that did not show up. It was a whole run around from customer service. My whole day was wasted from this company. I would avoid proctoru. If your are able to find out that your school is using their service, I am sorry, you will be so frustrated and angry just like how I feel right now.

Worst experience of my whole life

Worst experience of my whole life. The website cannot be accessed. I tried for FOUR hours. No one was talking to me, everyone ignored me so I gave up. I now have to talk to my university so I’m not failing this course. Angry is an understatement.

They suck

I honestly don’t know why my school uses this company for exams. To say they suck is actually a compliment. I had a test scheduled and it took me an hour to connect with the Proctor. Then the representative goes to tell me that I couldn’t take the test because I needed a new password from the school which was bizarre. After going back and forth with them I contacted my school and told me that I didn’t need a new password. Called proctor u back and another representative told me they had no idea what I was talking about as if I made it up . This whole thing has been frustrating and honestly I should have looked at the reviews and gone to the testing center to avoid all this nonsense .. please avoid if possible

"Get another computer" - tech support

My computer was working perfectly but they could not see my webcam. Over 10hours and 10 technicians could not "fix" the problem. I was told to just "get another computer" LMFAO useless program with useless "support"

The proctor was extremely rude and…

The proctor was extremely rude and condescending and was hard to understand. The technical set up is complicated and requires a lot of access to your computer. If you can do something in person it would seem to be way less of a hassle even with a 1 hour drive considered , I did not find the service to be convenient or helpful. overall it felt pretty scummy.

I was doing an exam that pulls my mark…

I was doing an exam that pulls my mark so I could get into the uni course I wanted which is super hard to do good in. Halfway through this supervisor started screaming at me legit screaming at me to take my hijab off, and I already notified them that I wear religious hijab and all. This woman kept screaming at me and made me lose 10 minutes from my exam, I talked to them and it's been 2 months and they never got back to me disgusting company.

If you want me to hate your company, use ProctorU

Idiot technicians, similar to everyone else I was passed around to 5 different variations of morons who could not figure out what the issue was. 2 hours after scheduled test start time, I was told I would have to reschedule. I decided to stop wasting time with the donkeys running support, deleted the apps, disabled my firewall and tried again where I finally managed to make it work.

Their dodgy software allows all access into your pc and I have no idea if these weirdos are using my ID to commit identity fraud or what!! I am sure there are no infosec practices in place. I ran a full virus scan afterwards but my pc still feels infected.

It's a miracle someone is actually hiring these people based on the very obvious reviews here

I would give this 0 stars if possible!!!! I absolutely hate this! The system is dumb, crashes & closed my browser, I have to uninstall/reinstalled, restart my BRAND NEW computer for the proctor every time. Of course it doesn’t work I tell them immediately I need tech support they don’t transfer me they still want to do it their selfs and CANT!!!! There’s no reason it takes over an hour to get through prechecks!! Then you finally get transferred to tech support & have to explain all over again. I wish my school would stop using this idiotic system along with their idiot s”support team”!!!!!

This company deserves negative stars

This company deserves negative stars. I am more than disgusted with it. The website crashed and their customer service closed so they didn't have to deal with questions. My professor extended the exam period so that students could complete it, then it took 4 hours for them to figure out how I could start the exam. THEN, it crashed in the middle of it. The timer on my exam did not stop when this happened and I also had to way of seeing the timer. The proctors had no clue what they were doing and I've never experienced such bad professionalism. NO school should use this and this company should be forced to shut down permanently.

Horrible Service

My exam was scheduled for November 8 at 4:50 PM MST. The ProctorU team didn't join until 5:15 PM MST. Even so, I was willing to wait. Before the agent arrived and began assisting me with the exam, I had already downloaded the Gurdian browser that was recommended. We performed the standard examinations, which included examining the ID and the room and its surroundings. I began my exam, and the first part of it went smoothly. I went for a quick break after asking. returned, and we checked the room and its surroundings as usual.
So far, everything has gone smoothly. I carried on writing my exam. Suddenly, a new ProctorU chat window appeared, and another agent asked if they could use my mouse. As usual, I gave in. They started disabling features after going to settings. All I could do was observe what they were doing. After they finished checking, they told me I could resume my exam. I carried on with my test, but a few agents kept requesting to use my mouse and alter my computer.
That evening, they downloaded the Gurdian browser thirty-one times. It was after 11:00 PM when they declared that they were ready so I could continue with my exam, and we saw that the exam had been marked as "submitted." I don't know if the exam was turned in because one of the agents felt like it or if it was turned in after the allotted three hours. I couldn't finish my exam after spending six hours locked in the same room and sitting in the same chair. I wanted to cry and been sick since that day.
When I arrived at this board, I saw that other people were complaining. Contemplating to take this matter to the media/ legal…..

Extremely disappointing experience with…

Extremely disappointing experience with ProctorU.

During my 2-hour, 30-minute online exam, after completing all the required setup checks, I was about 40 minutes into the test when I was abruptly logged out due to a server issue. I asked the ProctorU invigilator what was going on, and he attempted to resolve the issue but, after about 20 minutes without success, simply gave up and stopped communicating clearly. I asked if I’d be able to continue the exam from where I’d left off once things were resolved, and he assured me I could.

Eventually, I was transferred to a technician who resolved the issue in about 10 minutes, then re-assigned me to another invigilator. However, after waiting another 20 minutes without updates or a way to reach anyone, I called ProctorU’s support over the phone. Only then did someone finally re-assign me to a new invigilator so I could continue.

After redoing all the initial checks, I returned to my exam only to discover that the timer showed just '40 minutes remaining'!!!! despite the time lost due to the technical difficulties. I messaged the invigilator, Victory, who claimed the timer hadn’t changed and I was wrong. When I pressed the issue, she stopped responding altogether. Classic 'gaslighting'. Left with only 40 minutes to finish the exam, I had to rush through the rest, barely passing, without time to review any answers I was uncertain about.

At the end, I asked Victory if I could close the window. She asked me to leave feedback on the service, and as I started to select “very dissatisfied,” she interrupted, telling me to click a red button in the corner instead. I immediately realise I had been tricked me into cancelling my feedback entirely, effectively preventing me from documenting my concerns. I luckily was able to find and submit my feedback through the use of history tab.

After this frustrating and exhausting experience, I feel compelled to share this story. This company’s poor communication, technical issues, and unhelpful service created unnecessary stress and wasted valuable exam time. I strongly advise training providers to reconsider using ProctorU, as no one should have to deal with such a frustrating experience during an exam. Going forward, I will make sure any course provider I use does not partner with them, no one deserves this level of service.

I would rate it 0 stars if that was an option. Proctoru is an absolutely horrible test taking service & should not be used at all by any means necessary. Their proctors are under qualified & quite frankly stupid. The entire website is trash. They tell you to use the live chat service for immediate support & that doesn’t work either. No one replies & when you call customer service you are placed on hold for hours at a time. I was scheduled to take a test at a specific time & my proctor disconnected before my exam & left me trying to reconnect for over an hour. I had to reschedule my exam. THIS IS A HORRIBLE TEST TAKING SERVICE!!! THEY DO NOT HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING & THEY SUCK!!! If you couldn’t tell I hate them with my entire heart, do yourself a favor & save yourself the stress & future therapy you will need from using proctoru.

I had an extremely disappointing…

I had an extremely disappointing experience with ProctorU that prevented me from taking my AMCA EKG exam. The proctoring process was unprofessional and chaotic, ultimately costing me the chance to sit for my exam as scheduled.

To start, my proctor didn’t even log in until an hour and a half after my test time had started. Despite my repeated attempts to connect, I received little to no guidance, and when my proctor finally appeared, they struggled to understand basic procedures and technology. Unfortunately, ProctorU’s support was not helpful either, and the delays forced me to miss my exam entirely.

When I contacted AMCA to follow up, they reached out to ProctorU to investigate, but ProctorU falsely claimed that technical difficulties on my end were to blame. This was simply not true. The issue stemmed from disorganized proctors who didn’t seem familiar with the equipment or exam protocols. I was left feeling frustrated and let down, especially after having to pay a $60 rescheduling fee for a situation I had no control over.

If you’re looking for a reliable, professional testing experience, I strongly recommend avoiding ProctorU. Their lack of professionalism and accountability cost me time, money, and an exam opportunity.

They absolutely suck

They absolutely suck, waist of your time. Make sure you set a time from of at least 2-4 hours. Worst customer service ever. I would not recommend to any other business. Be prepared to be pissed off. I was on for 3.5hours and I was on wait for forever. I don’t think I’ve ever been so annoyed in my entire life with a company that sucks this much

2 hours of Hell

I was supposed to take an exam today at 10:30 am. The servers kept crashing and reinstalling their shady software multiple times. I did the pre-checks 11 times! I was so angry I actually kicked my bed in frustration and I NEVER lose my cool like that. I finally gave up after two hours and messaged my instructor and she’s going to proctor my exam via zoom tomorrow. DON’T USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY

Constant tech issues

I had 2 exams scheduled for today. After 7 hours straight of trying to access them I gave up. The first proctor told me he couldn’t see my video on their end. A support agent told me to restart it. Then nothing would load at all. An hour and a half later I finally got through to a second proctor but he also couldn’t see my video, even though I’d passed all the system checks. After that the chat box with the proctors wouldn’t open and the lobby would send me back to the starting page. Had server issues, tech support kept getting disconnected., there was an issue with the secure browser. I called at least 8 times and got through 3 times without them hanging up on me. All of the tech support who accessed my computer told me my issues were fixed when they are quite clearly not. I would definitely have driven the 1.5h to the test centre if I had another chance. What a joke.
