I was very impressed with Taylor…

I was very impressed with Taylor Heating and Air for their very reasonable quote and assistance in obtaining financing for 2 HVAC units. I was especially impressed with their techs, Derek and Chase. These young men were friendly and knowledgeable about the job they were about to do. They were excellent representatives for Taylor H&A. I would highly recommend this company.

DO NOT USE APPLIANCE REPAIR EXPERTS

October 17th/22 I hired Appliance Repair Experts for an LG range repair. I have had nothing but problems and I am out 680.00 for a range repair that has not happened. It's been over a month since I paid 680.00 for 2 new elements which turned out NOT to be the problem. A control panel was also tried and it also did not repair the stove. I have contacted the manager at Appliance Repair Experts many times (5 emails) and several calls and not once have I had a response. The technician that they sent, and whom I have been contacting by text has also been very slow to respond to my many texts. When he finally responds it is with promises that he will be back and will fix my stove. He has not returned nor called with a date to return and I'm still out 680.00 for the 2 elements that were tried Oct. 17th! I have asked repeatedly for a refund and have had NO response to my request, nor answer to my many calls and emails (5 to the manager). There is no customer service direct line and no way for me to get a hold of someone in accounting to refund my 680.00. I have been abused as a customer and would not recommend this company to anyone. Very poor service, no customer service and no way for me to proceed unless through Small Claims Court. All I want is my 680.00 returned so I can buy myself a new stove. FYI- my LG stove is only 9 years old and in very good condition until the 2 elements went on the left side.
I have lost all faith and confidence in this company and do not recommend Appliance Repair Experts to anyone. This has been a very stressful and frustrating experience and one I wish to share so no one else is deceived and swindled as I have been.

Studio 11 in Red Deer, AB.

I made an appointment with Kayla because she was offering gel manicures for 50% off.

Upon arrival, I was told to sign a vague legal document concerning potential harm/accidents/covid and not being able to sue should I be injured on the premises. When I questioned specific areas of this document and what the document meant, she wasn't able to answer me. Kayla called her manager on two separate calls to gain more information. Kayla relayed what the legal document "meant", even though what is written is completely different. I said that I was not comfortable signing a legal document that was not clear/concise.
I was then shamed by Kayla. She urged me to sign the document saying, "Other's don't have a problem signing this, you should just sign it."
Kayla was visibly stressed and upset with me for my non-compliance.
I understand that giving personal information and signing consent forms are common for new clients.
I did fill out the first package (personal information) in full.
For the second legal package, I did relay that I would happily consent/sign the document if it was clear/concise. I suggested that management draw up another document correcting this but was denied.

In the end, I was not able to receive the service and told to leave.

Inova Insurance brokers

We have polciy with Scotish and York and they unjustly cancelled our policy, so we called our insurance broker Inova. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes we were put through to Amy Mcneil who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.she was able to get the policy reinstated in a timely manor.

I just had the WORST experience with…

I just had the WORST experience with Wayfair. I attempted to purchase 3 items for $1500.00 and as I proceeded to checkout, the transaction was completed before I could enter any gift cards or discounts. I cancelled the order and complained to the company. they emailed me asking for a second chance and promised personal assistance. I called back, after navigating the recorded prompts, I was connected to "Ryan" and recited my experience. He said that he was with "Business accounts" and would transfer me to consumer accounts! I was connected to "Jeff" and again recited my experience. He said that they'd like to help but would need to connect me with business solutions. It was then that I was connected to "Kevin". I explained my purchase experience to him and my sojourn trying to get assistance by phone. He apologized saying that they had a lot of new hires recently who don't know their heads from holes in the ground but he was with business accounts. Kevin asked me to hold while he attempted to connect me with a consumer specialist. after almost 5 minutes on hold...I W-A-S DONE!!! MY ADVICE BEFORE SHOPPING WITH WAYFAIR GO SOMEPLACE

Matt from Reparation Flash

Matt from Reparation Flash was able to do the almost impossible today when he came to my house to change the motor of my 1988 GE dishwasher with another motor that was not easy to obtain given the age of the machine. I was truly amazed to watch this technician use his ingenuity and expertise to install this new motor that is now working perfectly! I cannot recommend him highly enough and what a pleasure to observe someone who enjoys challenges and loves his work. It really made my day!

Purchased a couples trailer recently from Campsmart in Hamilton, Ontario. With not having the best credit. They were able to get me a bank approved loan at a great interest rate, no money down. My dream of owning a trailer came true that day. All around best experience. Campsmart, Hamilton is the place go if you’re looking to finance/purchase the travel trailer of your dreams.

Great Service Josslin Insurance

Our family has been clients of Josslin Insurance for well over a decade.

In the long-run, we have been extremely satisfied with the service, sales, and - on two occasions - the claims area. Their brokers and staff have consistently provided value added communication, service, and follow up.

Our current broker, Ashley Brey, went above and beyond in attaining our most recent renewal - and unbeknownst to her - saved our family vacation with her attention to detail. First of all, she attained a rate which saves us at least $ 35.00 per month....but that's not the best part.

During the renewal process, Ashley called and e-mailed me to inform me I hadn't renewed my driver's license. How did that save our holiday ? I was scheduled to fly to Alberta three days later .... there is now way you can fly with an expired license. I would have been turned away and a holiday ruined

In May of 2022 our Kitchen Aid fridge…

In May of 2022 our Kitchen Aid fridge Model: KBFN502ESS which is under extended warranty shut off. The temperature control kept saying that the temp was too high, After a month of stalling and poor service, in June, Kitchen Aid sent a repair man to our house and he discovered that the temperature was set properly but the compressor was broken and parts had to be ordered. Apparently the internal communication at Whirlpool that owns Kitchen Aid is abysmal and after calling every day, in July we were told that parts were to be shipped and the repair company would install them two weeks later, This after having to throw out hundreds of dollars of spoiled food. There were constant delays in getting the parts shipped and when the guy finally came to install them he got the fridge working for exactly two weeks when the same problem came up again and again we had to throw out hundreds of dollars of food. Someone told us that the part that controls the temperature was defective and what we had was a lemon. Here is it Aug. 22 and we are trying to contact Kitchen Aid again to repair the fridge. Kitchen Aid should replace the entire built in unit and reimburse us for all the discarded food. Will they? I have no confidence in them and you shouldn't either.

Worst experience trying to test drive a…

Worst experience trying to test drive a used vehicle in my 50 years of buying. Lack of communication. Poor timely responses. Arranged to meet at 6pm. Takes us an hour to get there then we get texted a 5:50 just leaving car lot. Should of notified they were going to be late way earlier. Had to wait 45 min and the vehicle was a piece of junk. Would never deal with them again. Wait days to get responses.

They have been spamming MY email for months and I finally replied to see if I could receive a small loan as they requested, and this is what I received in reply to my email. "Cause you are a scam but if you want a loan we would have helped you but now you can go screw yourself" NOT ACCREDITED WITH THE BBB. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

MATRIX HOTEL (OLD ELEVATORS)

At the End of July 2022 my son was getting married at the MATRIX HOTEL in Edmonton. Before I go on about management let me tell you the staff were exceptional the hotel clean except for no outdoor ashtray and the food TOP notch. Management on the other hand decided that one working Elevator was enough for 4 Weddings with no service elevator (16 Floors). The waiting time was anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. Our Wedding party was on the 16 th floor. Three people in our Wedding party had injuries one on the seventh floor had major back surgery and also hip injuries. We woke up Sunday morning NO ELEVATORS worked at all. I was not a happy camper, you could say I was lucky because I was on the 7th floor. I was in extreme pain crying going to retrieve my suitcases for the second time. Standing at the front desk was the maintenance man saying it’s extremely hard to get parts on these old elevators as I said LAST WEEK. That is when I saw RED. So to the Management Team at the Matrix Hotel go out have fun drink lots stay out late and then come back to your hotel, walk 16 flights with no air conditioner in stairs and on the third trip back down suitcases like you were in a Wedding party.
So to the staff at the MATRIX HOTEL I’m sorry that your management team has left you in that situation. Management needs to give bonuses to the Woman at the front desk and the Janitor for putting them in a situation you have created.(July 31,2022). I saw the woman leaving the hotel on Sunday who had the back surgery after 7 flights of stairs. The look on her face was pure pain.
SHAME ON YOU……,, The reviews on the Hotel end at August 2021 maybe that is why
