We had bought the Pro 200 a couple of…

We had bought the Pro 200 a couple of months ago. Got the lights up and working.
Started having blinking problem and then they would not come on at all. At inspection we found the controller box off/on switch had a hole burnt in the back and had melted through
Called customer service and they took care of the problem and sent a new set.

Excellent Tech and Customer Service

As a customer, prompt response and customer service is extremely important to me and Govee support impressed me very much in helping me resolve a technical issue I had with their product. I truly recommend their products because of their customer service and tech support.

Great customer service!

Great customer service and the lamps look so nice in the back of my living room in conjunction with my T2 back lights that's connected to my TV and my two floor lamps on each side of the TV. When it's on the dream View the lights all look awesome when they change colors as the TV changes colors very nice product I'm very happy I have a few other products of theirs including smart plugs

Steer clear they dont hounour guarantees and ignore any messages

I am in the uk and the only way to contact govee is via message or email. I have been in contact with them about a faulty device and the first few messages they replied. They stated they would send a replacement device and asked for my details. I sent them these and then they changed their mind and said there was no stock and to send back for a refund . This was declined as they clearly had stock through amazon their website and their app of the product. When i pointed this out to them them they started making excuses and stopped responding to my messages. I have sent them several messages over a 3 day period and i am getting no response and they are just ignoring all communication. I have given my telephone number and asked for a manager to ring me back to make a complaint and they still ignore that. Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of them as their after sales service is disgusting and the product has developed a fault which they wont honour the guarantee it seems.

Update:Even though govee replied and stated contact support team i have sent 8 replies through the app to the support team and every single one has been ignored and this has been over the last 5 days.

Fantastic No Quibble company

Fantastic No Quibble company. Love Govee products well made and reliable. Last product was delivered in a damaged box which led me to not trust it hadn’t been dropped from a height. Contacted Emily at support and within 24hours was extremely satisfied with her help and resolution of the matter. Would recommend this company 2000%. Brilliant !!!!!

THESE BULBS ABSOLUTELY SUCK A33.
1st off an app on your phone? I have 1,000 apps for food, health plan, printing, really? I have to have an app to turn on a light bulb?
Then I spend the 20 minutes trying to figure out the app, the style, etc....to turn on a light bulb.
Then I plug 4 bulbs into a lamp that a requires 4 bulbs and the app only works on the one bulb. Brilliant.The other LED bulbs I have used had a remote. One remote. period. Simple.

Poor customer service

Product working as designed, customer service is atrocious. I have written emails, called customer service, and even paid up front for hassle free return plan and nothing has happened. I still have product I have tried to return multiple times and there has been a complete lack of follow through from customer service to process the return despite initiating it countless times.

Without resolution on my return, I cannot be an ambassador for any product Govee. Do not recommend. Happy to remove this post if resolved.

1-Star Review – Govee Outdoor Deck Lights (18 Pack)

I had a very disappointing experience with the Govee Outdoor Deck Lights (18 lights set).

At first glance, the product looks high quality and well-designed, but in reality, the performance is extremely poor. The first unit I received was defective right out of the box. To their credit, they sent a replacement—but unfortunately, the second set was even worse.

These lights did not last even 24 hours. After installation, they stopped working completely: they won’t turn on, and they no longer connect to Wi-Fi or the app. It’s essentially a total system failure.

For a product at this price point, this is completely unacceptable. The materials may look good, but the internal quality and reliability are clearly not there.

I do NOT recommend this product. It’s a waste of money and time, especially considering the effort required to install outdoor lighting.

Krijg je een mail dat ze geen losse onderdelen verkopen,dus pleuris maar in de container.weg 90 euro. Ik vind dat erg slecht van govee

Customer Service? Zero.

I recently bought a Govee table lamp (which is great and I love) and some Gaming Light Bars Pro. The light bars are really good - but they do not appear to deliver what the website suggests they do. I have emailed customer service three times and have now given up. I’ve been ignored.

Lights good. Customer service abysmal.

Update:

Thank you for the reply on Trustpilot. I don’t think I should have to leave a negative review here to elicit a response.

Here is the email I sent (twice to support and once to the UK sales office):

Dear Govee,

I bought the Gaming Light Bars Pro - and I really like them. However, the main reason for buying them was to synch with games and videos on my tv. Reading the FAQS for the product convinced me to make the purchase:

The immersive screen synchronization feature requires the built-in high-sensitivity camera that comes included with the product.

I could find no camera in the box. Is it linked to the control box?

I could not find a camera on your website either.

This seems misleading - as this was the function I was most interested in.

Can you help?

I did submit this question through your website - but didn’t get a reply, although I was asked to complete a survey on how well you had dealt with my enquiry. Hopefully you can respond this time?

Left outside in rain and parcel wasn’t there

I bought some Govee items for my garden the delivery was not compliant. It was left outside and when I returned it was not there. Govee say to contact the bank. But they bank say this can be 3 months wait. I contacted Royal Mail who told me it shouldn’t have been left outside and sender to make claim however they are refusing. I would like this taken further please

I god excellent help from Mandy.

I god excellent help from Mandy in customer support because my original order got lost during the shipping process. Govee were very quick to help me resolve my issues. Th responded quickly and they made sure to help me by sending out a new parcel, expected to be delivered soon.

1st time dealing with GoveeRecently…

1st time dealing with GoveeRecently purchased a 2 pack of wi fi water detectors (was a kit), setting the units up and connecting everything to router went well.. That being said , down hill from there- now you already have to make acct you cant name, give e mail , router info, phone #, ok sounds ok'ish right? Then testing alarm 1 has to be in a decent puddle before it even goes off (damage would already be occurring), 2 does not notify..the whole reason I have this unit is to notify me through text and email if water is detected. Now support has u double check everything and here's the kicker now they say in order for it to work enable gps & has to be on precise location. This is no water detector ITS A Tracking/snooping DEVICE that you give full access to your location, phone computer and network.. Stay away imo
