very disappointing. I ordered 50 dog rose and planted them promptly.
So far after 5 months - no sign of life at all. So total loss and a waste of time and money. Other plants from a different source, planted at the same time are doing OK.
When customer services took more than two weeks to responded (after my second email) Simone said "We don’t offer a guarantee on plants" I see they have a royal warrant, I hope the King gets a better service!
The 1 star is only because the bamboo canes and protectors were ok.
I am posting this here because I'm told "British hardwood tree nursery have merged with their sister company green tech" since my purchase.

Quick and efficient service

Thank you Green-Tech for transforming my backyard. The entire process was done with quality and care for the customer. The crew that was sent worked nonstop. The job was estimated to take three days and they finished in two. The product is high quality and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to remove their dead grass and replace it with their turf.

5 star customer service. unfortunately, and as does happen in life, one of the batch of products had a fault (first time i have had an issue with the product), green tech responded quickly to my email and have rectified it immediately following a phone call to me. No hesitation in continuing to recommend them to others. wish all retailers / wholesalers were the same! Well done Green-Tech

The best bark mulch I have used for a long time (Scotbark Medium Grade Ornamental Bark 70L Bag). It is spot on for moisture content and smells fresh like the sawmills (not like the usual fungi aroma of more soggy mulches). The Rootmaster Soil Conditioner & Tree & Shrub Planting Compost appears richer than others I have bought. Having them bagged is most convenient for delivery and handling and their prices are better than most, The only slight inconvenience was the pallet was loaded with the planting compost at the bottom of the pile and the mulch on top. But not worth losing a star for.

Highly recommend, they did a fantastic job from start to finish. The lads that did the installation worked extremely hard and stayed late to make sure that we had heating and hot water. After they had left you could hardly tell they had been here, very clean and tidy. Their consultant was excellent and worked with us throughout, they completed all the paperwork super quick and also walked us through the RHI application, making it easy and stress free. Thank you.

I had incorrect soil weights delivered and then delayed delivery three times. This resulted in a lot of extra cost for me. Dean Jackson was very proactive and found I was not sent the correct weight and he sorted a refund. I should be leaving a negative review but he turned it around so now I am leaving a positive review. They haven't made any money on my order I assume but I am happy with how quickly he sorted things and he clearly tried to keep me happy as a customer.

Appalling service. On placing my order (250 tree stakes, palleted, to be signed for on delivery) I discussed over the phone with Neil all the details - and specifically the delivery date, today, Friday 9th April - which was agreed and all order details confirmed by email by Green-tech and a subsequent email from them to say the goods "had been despatched" I emailed again to check and was assured the shipment would arrive on the day requested. We made a 60 mile round trip from home to site (a County woodland and picnic site) and waited all day until 6pm - no delivery, despite contacting the office several times during the late afternoon to check they were on their way. No contact from the carriers, no call back from the office - I had to chase them - they told me they were "not getting a response" from the couriers "but had left them a message" and even had me doubting the delivery address/postcode I had given, which on checking was correct. The site is well signed, off a major road and easily found via Google maps or Sat nav, so no excuses there. We have 6 people turning up tomorrow to plant trees, now not possible, wasting yet another day. BUYER BEWARE their terms and conditions are NOT customer friendly so I imagine we will now have an argument trying to get the order cancelled and money refunded. I hope they prove me wrong. No call back from their office before they closed at 5pm today despite my request for them to do so. No service over the weekend, just answerphone. I will post again with an update.

I ordered and paid for a product. I received an email to say item was out of stock but unfortunately, it hadn't been updated on the website. However, because I needed the product urgently, the company upgraded my purchase at no extra cost and it was delivered within 24 hrs. Very impressed with every aspect of this company.

I am a novice gardener and I mean novice and I was told to buy a certain type of Woodland Hedge Mix ( Shade ). I didn't know what I was doing so rang to ask for advise. The person on the other end of the phone could not have been more helpful. They told me how to plant and what to use and what to do if things went wrong.From my experience I would recommend John Chambers to everybody

On returning goods, I was charged double the original carriage rate AND then also an additional 25% handling charge.
It has cost me £75 to return a £215 order.
PLEASE READ THE SMALL PRINT,
I would hate anyone else to be stung such a shocking amount to return non faulty goods.
I will never be using the company or their products again.

I made a mistake with my order and called Green Tech to discuss it. The problem was resolved immediately without any problem or question, even though the error was mine. Very happy with the service (and the products)
