Scam company
As with a lot of other reviews, I have been well and truly scammed. Paid £15 for a four week diet plan then got charged £79.11 the following month. There is nowhere that states when you go through checkout that you will be charged an ongoing subscription fee. I contacted their support team who have cancelled the subscription but have refused a refund. They say as per There policy this cannot be issues. I've recieved no email confirmation of the purchase or ongoing payments which is deceitful and misleading. I will be. Contacting my bank to request a charge back...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! You don't even get to view what they offer before purchasing so have no idea what to expect and the recipes are rubbish. The app toys to sell you so many add ons too!!

Very basic recipies
Very basic recipies. Ingredients very repetitive. I didnt tick option gluten free but I haven't expected to have sandwiches as a dinner and eat bread every day. If its not a cheesy sandwich its lentils ,mushrooms and broccoli is secondary choice. Not mentioning that its not balance for your gut health. I haven't seen a single recipe with gut friendly probiotic fermented veg or seaweed etc. There so much you can eat as vegetarian or even vegan . Whoever wrote those menus has done them based mainly on calories intake. Not for me. Loosing weight is one thing,having healthy tummy and body its something else. I bought it today, flicked through and thats how far my experience is going

Don’t purchase from these scammers
This company lures you in with great ads and social content and after receiving your payment details it takes a payment from you without any notification and then refuses to refund you. The iOS app doesn’t display any subscription status or information so there is no way of knowing that they are going to charge you again after your original payment. When originally purchasing you believe you are paying a one-off payment for a 4 week diet plan. They then take a payment of around £80. On contacting their customer service it appears they are helping you but actually any subsequent emails/replies are ignored and not acknowledged.
This is a scam practice which the company is profiting on via instagram and facebook ads.
Not happy at all as now they have my card details and can effectively make false charges whenever they want.
My only option is to contact Barclaycard and report them as the scammers they are.
Furious I fell for their content and made the original payment.

Do not touch with a barge pole
I downloaded the app from facebook as they had an offer on . I checked out the app and it was rubbish so never used it . However 4 weeks later they took out £79 from my account this was NOT listed within their terms and conditions. Usually companies send reminders the amount will be taken: not with this company.
Standard response with please contact the company when I already had before leaving this review, and they refused to refund the undisclosed £79 per month wtf !!! Just a rude rubbish money pinching company out to defraud people out of money .

Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I only intended to purchase a meal plan, but the company made the recurring subscription terms very unclear during checkout. There were no reminder emails before charging me again, and no easy cancellation option available in the app. It honestly feels misleading and intentionally designed to make customers continue paying without realizing it.
What made the experience even worse is that they would not even offer a refund after I explained that I felt misled and fraudulently charged. Although they eventually canceled the subscription, the overall process felt deceptive and frustrating. Customers deserve better transparency, clear cancellation options, and fair customer support when these situations happen.

Deceptive checkout practices and arbitrary hidden fees – Avoid!
I am extremely disappointed with Green Diet. I discovered multiple expensive, unauthorized charges on my bank card from this company without ever signing up for a subscription or consenting to recurring payments.
When contacting their customer support to demand an explanation and a refund, they claimed that I had signed up for a "1-on-1 Coaching" trial during a checkout process, which automatically converted into a paid monthly subscription. The numbers they are charging do not make any sense either—they are citing figures like $99.99 USD and 92.48 EUR, which do not align with any visible pricing or packages displayed on their platform.
They use classic "dark patterns" (hidden pre-ticked boxes and obscured terms) to trick people into expensive subscriptions and then completely refuse to issue a refund, hiding behind their automated policy. There is not even a clear way to log in and manage or cancel subscriptions directly on their website.
I have been forced to block my card and dispute these charges directly through my bank as unauthorized transactions. Avoid this company at all costs.
