I ordered two packs of the 20" Tape-In extensions and had them in on 20/07/23. At first they were luscious, smooth and perfect.

After one wash they became frizzy, matted and bushy my worst nightmare.
At first I thought I was doing something wrong however, I had been following all aftercare advice and realised there’s nothing I can do to help it.

My hair has become unmanageable it’s making me miserable. It’s constantly getting matted, even after brushing it all completely. It has caused so much shedding. I’ve removed some pieces I found matted the most and they have halved in length!!! I assume this will be the fate for the rest of the hair and it’s only been just over a month.

It’s a shame as i expected these to last me at least 6 months as all my other hair usually lasts longer!!
I’m finding it hard to believe this is even human hair. I thought my hair was damaged but gosh! These are awful:( Extremely disappointed.

Worst extensions ever NOT REAL HUNAN HAIR! Hair breaks off when brushed gets matted very quickly waste of money!

Possibly the worst extentions ive ever come across . So knotty and bushy. Look fantastic when they arrive week later useless definatly not worth the hassle.. I've damaged my own hair trying to get a brush through them

I ordered the deluxe hair extensions clip in set. I’m leaving a review simply as I question the validity of some of the other reviews here.

The value for money is not bad, they arrived swiftly, customer service is very good and they helped me match.

The hair quality itself is just ok, not that great. Easily tangles and not particularly soft, the clips are good quality. I also wouldn’t say it’s enough to add length as described.. thickness maybe if you get them cut in. Don’t get me wrong, definitely ok for the price. But the reviews saying it’s so soft and good quality seem inaccurate to me.

have purchased 3 packs of vibrant red nano ring hair extensions, when they arrived in the packet, they looked very magenta/purple like.. my hairdresser assured me that as they are supposed to be remy hair, they should colour/tone with my natural hair colour to match. So of course we proceeded to put the extensions in and tried an all over red colour. The extensions did not take to the colour one bit and any colour washed straight out.
I paid my hairdresser a lot of money to come out of the salon with unmatched hair as the extensions were completely different to the colour ordered and would not colour or style properly (curls just dropped straight out) she has advised me that this is an example of very poor quality hair. There are also clumps and clumps of fall out from the strands. This hair was not cheap. I am having to go back to my hairdresser, and spend more money so she can try and correct my hair to the poor quality, pinky/purpley/reddish hair that I have been supplied from Halo. Fair to say I’m really not happy with the quality of the hair or the colour which the hair is described to be. I have had them in two weeks now, following the correct aftercare as has extensions before, they Matt so bad and the knots are impossible to get out knotting my real hair with it. This is not real hair at all or at least 90% of it. These extensions are coming out Wednesday and I’m so scared that my hair will be extremely damaged too. I expressed this complaint to Halo, as I paid with Klarna I think I have had a refund but I have had no apologies from the company.

The softest extensions ever and so so easy to apply! I would really recommend Halo extensions to anyone who is new to using hair extensions. X

I have been a dedicated Halo extensions customer for the past 8-9 years and have always loved them, but sadly the past couple of years the quality has been absolutely awful!! My last few sets have tangled SO easily and the last set I bought a few weeks ago were so thin and wispy that they would have needed a good few inches cut off to make them look half decent so I now only use them to wear my hair in a bun as cutting them defeats the object of having hair extensions!!
Halo hair used to be thick and luxurious and I would buy at least twice a year but sadly I feel I now need to start looking elsewhere which is a nuisance when you have already found the perfect colour match but the quality just isn't up to standard. I give up even emailing them now.

Absolutely love my halo this is my first purchase of a halo hair extension.
I had this delivered 2 days after placing order.
Colour match is perfect definitely a game changer for me and halo hair extensions is my new best friend.

Worst extensions ever! Tangles for days, shedding, and knots up on the sides throughout the day. Be prepared to brush your hair all day just to maintain the mess. Never again!

Bought myself the inferno human hair ponytail and the colour is very close to my current hair so was impressed by that, it feels really soft and was packaged so nice! the only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because the pony tail itself has to be the thinnest one I have ever bought before, I thought considering it was £70 it would have been a bit thicker so slightly disappointed as it’s my first purchase with halo.

I bought 150 stick tips double drawn for my own hair
When opening the packs I was surprised at the taper each bond had the density of each stick tip taped extremely from about 1/3 on the way down meaning the ends where very very thin compared to the top.
Had them put in anyway and they looked ok but after 1-2 washed with hair extension shampoo and conditioner I found the hair to be very easily matted and when brushing had lots of breakage hair fall on my lap, not shedding but bad breakage
I have had them in two weeks and I am having them removed as the continuous need for brushing is casuarina damage to my own hair and at least 10 have come out with my own hair attached even when holding the root area while brushing
Very disappointed and money wasted in my opinion

Fake hair didn’t even last a month

I bought my first set of extensions about a year ago. I love them! No shedding, great quality. I will be buying more very soon as I've dyed my hair. I will agree they were never quite the same after washing but still absolutely fine. They're probably not the very best on the market, but be prepared to pay £600-800 if you want them. They are great with curling irons/straighteners and a top competitor on the market. I would and have recommended them to everyone.

I have had the extensions a month felt amazing and lovely colour after washing once they now Matt really easy and lumps come out after every brush absolutely a waste of money emailed them nearly a week ago and nothing getting informed through instagram then get told I’ll get a response on Tuesday…. I wouldn’t bother the amount that comes out it fills your brush

I’ve been wearing extensions for 15 years and these are the worst quality I’ve ever come across. They're lovely when you first get them, then when you wash them the colour runs out and they turn really dry. When wearing them the Matt up and turn into dreadlocks. I’ve only had mine 3 months and worn on a few special occasions but they are going in the bin. Don’t waste your money. I wish I read the reviews as they all say the same. AWFUL

Ordered medium brown and ash blonde halo, this was 2 weeks ago and still hasn’t arrived. No communication whatsoever by the company, in fact I cannot even find any emails to confirm my purchase or a tracking number, however they have taken payment from my account. Not very good customer service if even some of the basic things aren’t being done, as well as long waiting times for delivery. I wish I had tried alternate websites, I advise anyone else to do the same if they want the hair delivered in a reasonable time frame.

Worst experience ever. I orderd from their website on 12.01.2023 and its almost 2 months and still have not received my order: 6274, I have sent many emails asking for either refund or an update about my order and still didn't hear from them .. Please Avoid purchasing from halo hair extension

Wonderful customer service but please dont waste your money. I ordered the 'red' coloured hair extensions #35. One, they aren't red they're pink so it was a nightmare getting them to match my hair and two, this product is awful, I've had this hair in 3 months and it's shed so much on my next weave appointment I will be binning these and I've already ordered from else where. After the first wash they went so frazzled and dry it was awful, I emailed the company and they sent a replacement pack which was great - saying it might have been a faulty batch- but the second set of hair is just the same. Don't buy from them until they source and produce a better product.
