Very quiet
Very quiet when we went in, went to look at sofas a man who I presume was the manager wearing a white shirt was walking about but didn’t approach us , we sat on a few sofas and left.
I fully appreciate a store not being pushy but a hello or good afternoon would have made us feel welcome. Perhaps someone at the entrances to greet people when so quiet ,Just the small touches.
There were people also sat on a desk next to the beds just chatting again no smile or hello when we headed that way.
We left and purchased elsewhere.

Sofa ordering experience
I ordered a sofa in May and was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks to be delivered, so looking at the end of July. They charge £99 to remove your old sofa, the council will take it for £35. There is a few weeks wait for the council to collect, so I booked it mid August. Obviously the sofa was not ready at the end of July, I was told two weeks and it will come on a Saturday. My old sofa gets removed and on that same day I call to check the new one will still come in 3 days. They say no, it'll now be the Wednesday. I inform them I have already had our old sofa removed, but we could manage. I call them on Monday to check, they say it is still on track to be delivered Wednesday, great. On Tuesday they have just called to say they have no idea how long it will be until it gets delivered. They have offered some compensation, but you seriously have to question if you want to go through this situation with a family of 5 and no sofa for however long they take.

We received the sofa recently and I thought in fairness I should add the edit. The compensation has been processed without issue and we're very happy with the quality of the sofa. The staff that I spoke to were good and probably just working with the information they had. Therefore I would give them the benefit of the doubt that they had to deal with an issue beyond their control.

They take your money .. they dont have the items and take ages to pay back
Ordered a steam generator iron on a 2 days delivery. The night before it was meant to be delivered, I received an email at 9 pm telling me that the item was out of stock and that they would refund in 3-5 days- no alternatives - Awful experience given it is an expensive steam generator, and now I will need to wait to be paid back before I can order elsewhere! it should not take that long to return the money, nor for them to realise that their stock is out !!! Very disappointing! Do not use them

Very friendly and not pushy he really wanted to help out with giving us all the information we needed for our new TV when our house is built. Poor customer service
I ordered a product from the online store which got lost in transit. I have been chasing customer services for over 10 days with no resolution. This is extremely unacceptable, there has been no attempt by Harvey Norman to replace or refund the product.
