Sadly a terrible experience, i ended up paying so much money on taxes that it made no sense at all to shop at HBX plus a ultra long delivery time from Hong Kong! Such a rip off, this websites should come with a massive red alert disclaimer to protect customers from falling into these traps. All of that combined with a customer service that cant reply one email in two weeks. All in all horrible!

Excessive shipping and no free returns?!

Ordered an item, arrived fairly promptly and lots of updates which was great. Tried it on and it’s too big so looked to return the item. Considering the high shipping cost in the first place I was shocked to find I have to fork out for the return shipping.
Being in the UK I can imagine this won’t be cheap to ship back to USA or HongKong. Terrible for such a big company selling expensive items. Customers should not have to pay this, I don’t know of any other sites selling items in this price bracket to charge for returns.
Will not be purchasing from here again. Judging by other reviews, I’m now just waiting for my fedex customs bill in the post to top it all off! Sort it out HBX.

Was surprised to read the bad reviews

Bought a small Carhartt bag which had a carabiner clip on it. As soon as I got it the clip broke almost instantly, it was very poorly constructed (not HBX's fault as they did not make it). Contacted HBX and they immediately rectified the situation. I was really impressed with how quickly and professionally they sorted everything out. I would definitely buy from this store again.

Cautious! For all the orders from the EU citizen, high hidden duties & customs taxes!!!

Hello,
I ordered shoes and it was written "custom taxes and duties are included in the price" (my order number was #1008531).
Now I received a invoice from Fedex of 176,22 €!!!!
I wrote 2 emails to the customer care and till now I never received any reply.
This is really a pity that after the order, the end consumer can reach nobody if he has any request.
I hope for a positive issue.

Kindly note that Germany was serviced by DDU fulfilment (Delivery Duty Unpaid). 1 day prior to delivery , you should receive an email from the courier with a quotation for your Custom Duties & Tax. This information was mentioned on the product page, Delivery & Shipping & Customs Duties & Taxes Page.

We've updated our Delivery policy recently - all Custom Duties & Tax are be calculated on the checkout page so you don't have to pay extra upon delivery.

I bought a loewe hammock two days ago…

I bought a loewe hammock two days ago and i just received it today (i'm in Sydney) ! I can't believe how quick it was. The bag is really nice and authentic and it's almost 1000aud cheaper then the original price! Definitely go back and shop again.

N'achetez pas chez HBX, il marque droit et taxe inclus, et je me retrouve avec la tva à 20% sur les produits et frais de transport à payer + des frais administratifs de Fedex....
Ne prenez pas chez eux sauf si vous voulez plein de frais supplémentaires. Je les ai contacté, mais ils disent que c'est tout à ma charge. Une fois le colis reçu.
Plus jamais de commande chez HBX

tried to overcharge

I went to order from HBX and everything was fine, I went to check out and when. doing so it came up as I had insufficient funds, I checked my bank account and had more than needed for my purchase, and in checking other reviews, makes me think they use a bad exchange rate to over charge customers. Do not recommend.

I was hesitant about placing an order…

I was hesitant about placing an order with this site due to reviews, but I wanted a Maison Margiela cardigan that I couldn't find anywhere else, not even on the official Margiela website. I was also hesitant due to customs and duties but this was included in the price. Shipping costs were very reasonable too. My order arrived within 5 days to the UK, which I was further impressed due to the busy holiday season. The item is perfect. Will be ordering from HBX again in the future.

Legal scam method?

Ive bought about 4 Items. Only one item fits well so I tried to send it back but the "note" to send your items back is not a return label. (what nice kind of joke)
After 1 week Ive also got a bill to pay 110€ customs and I have only 1 Cap for over 300€ at the end.

Ho ordinato 4 prodotti stussy da HBX che a prima visione erano estremamente più vantaggiosi rispetto ad altri siti. ma ovviamente non scrivono che spediscono quel prodotto da HONG KONG e ti fanno pagare 150€ di dogana.
BISOGNA SCRIVERE IN EVIDENZA QUESTE INFORMAZIONI PERCHE' E' UN FURTO COMPLETO ORDINANDO DALL'ITALIA.
NON ORDINERO' MAI PIU' DA QUESTO SITO questo è sicuro.

I would love to trust this website but…

I would love to trust this website but can’t. I’ve made three different orders and literally each one had major problems. 1st order- the bag strap popped and broke the first day I wore it (Nana-nana brand), 2nd order- the carabiner is broken and permanently open wide on a close to $400 ( on clearance) bag (Heron Preston), and my 3rd order- phone case completely separated and broke in less than a month (Nana-nana) brand. No refunds, no returns. They’re selling broken things on sale and saying “no returns”!

I made an order on October 1st and…

I made an order on October 1st and received no email confirming my order, I payed through paypal and the money was already taken out with a confirmation email from PayPal. I did not revive a order number or confirmation email from hbx.
