It is terrible It takes so long on each question

Soooo many of my students find it difficult to use and learn very little from it....

Adrenaline pumping through your blood, you desperately dash forwards, regretting everything that brought you to this unfortunate, inevitable fate.
Slamming open the door to an abandoned suburban house, you relax, panting. It can't reach you in here. It can't.
You hear a revolting cracking sound, reverberating through the stained brick walls.
The bloated rotting face of Colin Hegarty crashes through the wall, the debris throwing you to the ground.
"WELCOME TO ANOTHER VIDEO OF HEGARTYMATHS! WELCOME TO ANOTHER VIDEO OF HEGARTY MATHS!"
You scream, but it's too late. The hideous beast snakes its head through the hole in the wall, squeezing and forcing its obese body over the shattered bricks.

Hello I have really liked it

UGH, where do I start. I understand that its a good revision tactic but why include questions that aren't mentioned in the video. Like when I need help I literally turn to google because after watching ALL the video and I mean ALL of it not just some it does not explain THAT question. I mean right he's a maths teacher I'm not like god sake just make Hegarty for dummies not bloody Albert Einstein pupils.

The way he explains questions is rather poor, they need to update the videos as all of these videos are very old and outdated, but the website is new. I also hate how you only have 2 attempts to answer the questions its so annoying.

-why does it require all of your details every single time you sign in it's literally a homework website
-the videos only cover the easiest parts of the questions and are explained so slowly like get to the point
-if you get anything under 100% the task sits there on orange and never disappears from your tasks list until you get 100% it's like it's taunting you
-it provides no feature to give feedback about the website so basically, kids just suffer and can't do anything to change it

absolute bull

Although this website has helped me learn maths, it has done it in the worst way possible.

The videos are not inclusive in the slightest, not only do students have to put up with lip-smacking and heavy breathing* courtesy of Mr Hegarty himself, but in some videos the examples do not properly correlate with the task assigned (such as when recurring decimals appear on questions). I have many a panic attack in trying to get through the quiz by watching the video, only to have such unprofessionalism awaiting me on the other end. At least 1 of these issues could be solved by just editing the videos.

*It should be noted that this can trigger sensory overload in people on the Autism Spectrum as well as mysophonia.

I HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED BY MY FELLOW COLLEGUE IN THE HEGARTY HATE INDUSTRY THAT HEGARTY IS AND ACTUAL WOORRDD WHAT WITH A CAPITAL LETTER TYPE IT ON WORD AND YOU WILL SEE. WHO HAS DONE THIS. Terrible, i hate hegarty maths more then anything

This is the worst site ever. And this is because Mr Hegarty is always wrong and never explains the answer properly and when you type in the answer it is always WRONG!!!!!!!!!

This review has been re-edited, and yes, I have increased the rating by a single star.
I still see why people would despise the website, the videos are wordy and the quizzes are quite average, but I think this is a great revision tool for maths as most of the time the questions are randomly generated and I do like that it pinpoints a related timestamp of the video to the question.
However, with some of the more higher questions, the timestamp in the video doesn't necessarily help with the question, yes it shows what to do but, the question I would be doing would have the answer in a different format that hasn't been mentioned in the video - which adds to the confusion and I would need my teacher to assist me.
Also, the topics that have 3 or 4 questions in, I do appreciate, but if I get even one question wrong it would be red overall and to be honest with you, that's quite disheartening to see, not even an amber/ orange. A red. But I mean, I don't really know how you would improve that, just something I'd like to point out.
I am already good at maths, so I find this website useful as a revision tool, but for those that aren't there yet won't find this site that great. Therefore, I just hope the videos can be redone in a less wordy way and more straight to the point. I feel like maths is just more of a know how to do it and not why.

On at least all of my tasksOne question I have got rate the next one I got a right to but it’s saying I got it wrong like this? This is just dead for over nine is bigger than 3/11 times to all and then saying I got it wrong because if you do 11×9=99 that’s gonna be denominator if you do I mean 11 you’ll get 44/99 and then for the other one you’ll get 27th of the 99 which is bigger
