Easy to deal with…

The program is really easy to deal with and manage. I have done an Accutane treatment regimen about 10 years ago, doing this method is much much more manageable. I have had great results so far, without the harsher side effects. Highly recommend.

Efficient respond time and quality of care

Ok, honest review time!

Is this company good? YES YES YES 1 BILLION PERCENT

Ok, so I've been trying to get on Isotretinoin for some while now, yeah? However, a lot of dermatologists are hesitant to give it to you if they don't deem you "misearable enough". However, HelloClearHealth just prescribed isotretinoin to me after I had filled out their questionnaire and paid for the service. I love that they don't try to gatekeep important medicine like this.

The response time was fast, too. I filled out their questionnaire at Noon on a Thursday, and then got back by 9 PM on that same day! So I filled out the required form, and I managed to pick up my medicine the next day by noon as well. Impressive on them for this 24-hour service timer!

However, I do have one small critique of them. I was almost tempted to knock off a star for this, but I decided the benefit outweighed the cost. I had wanted to cancel my subscription with them; however, I noticed there was no easy click-to-cancel button (I thought this was illegal in California?). Anyway, I had to email customer support to get them to cancel it for me. They did it super quickly, though, without trying to trap me in, which I appreciated, and that is also why I didn't knock off a star for this.

Edit: The company response says you could cancel anytime within the dashboard. However, even though I went to [My Name] > Subscriptions, there were no options to cancel it. To give them the benefit of the doubt, I had wanted to cancel my subscription the day immediately after I had picked up my isotretinoin, because I realized my insurance could cover my doctor expenses if it was with them, so maybe it had taken some time on their end to give me the option.

This is not a program to become a part of!

Customer service is far from helpful. I do not recommend this company for accutane. The process is not well explained. Access on your phone is challenging to maneuver the site. I called and reached out via text as they suggested for faster response time and no one ever returned my call. Now they are refusing to help with the filling of my daughters prescription. As any of you know, when your child is suffering from acne, getting picked on for it, you need this yesterday. I've been in medical for 30 years, trust me.....this is not the program to become apart of.

Customer Service is not good

The customer service is not satisfactory.
You are required to be inconvenienced with multiple tests to prove your health status, particularly, I am in menopause and was told I have to prove I'm in menopause status by going to get labs done.
I'm very aware of the iPledge requirements as this is not my first time using isotretinoin.

I thought the online process with Clear Health service would be convenient and beneficial.... It's far from that!
The lack of empathy for patients is obvious.

You won’t regret using this service!

I’ve gone through this service personally and also used it for two of my children. Customer service is top notch, and the medical care and medication are both affordable and accessible. The dermatologists are responsive if you have questions, but you’re also given a lot of information up front so you know what to expect since there’s so much misinformation out there about Accutane.

This was life changing for me as an adult who struggled with a really horrific breakout that caused so much distress. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if I need them (hoping I don’t of course). I love that they also offer longer term microdosing options. 10/10 experience

terrible communication

i've never posted a review ever but felt compelled to after my experience with clear health--- i signed up with clear health expecting reliable care, especially given how expensive the service is. unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.

my new prescription should have been filled at the start of the month, but there was a mix-up between my pharmacy and clear health. what should have been a simple fix turned into weeks of silence. it was nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone, and during that time my treatment was interrupted and my skin condition worsened.

when i finally got on the phone with taylor from clear health (almost a week after the fact) they told me it was my pharmacy’s fault. that may very well be true, but it doesn’t excuse the lack of communication or the delay. it’s bad practice to shift blame instead of taking accountability and ensuring patients get the care they need on time.

to make matters worse, they only bothered to reach out after i had already cancelled my treatment. for the price they charge, the bare minimum should be timely communication and responsibility when things go wrong.

clear health failed on both counts, and i can’t recommend them to anyone who needs dependable dermatology care.

Prior to this review being written and after speaking with you directly and reviewing what occurred, I offered corrective steps to resolve the matter, which you declined. While we respect your decision, I want to assure you that we always strive to provide timely, attentive support, and we’re sorry to hear your experience did not meet expectations.

When prescriptions are sent to a local pharmacy, there are occasionally challenges outside of our direct control. While we do our best to coordinate and resolve issues, some local pharmacies and pharmacists may not be as familiar with Isotretinoin and iPledge Program requirements (as you acknowledged), which can unfortunately create delays. To maintain transparency, we make every effort to clearly explain what happened and provide supporting details so patients remain fully informed. This is also why we recommend using our in-house pharmacy whenever possible, as patients typically experience a more seamless and reliable process when treatment is managed end-to-end by our team.

That said, communication is something we take very seriously. Our team responds to all patient inquiries, though messages received outside of business hours may take longer to address. We regret if this gave the impression of silence, as that is never our intent.

Finally, when a patient chooses to discontinue care, I still follow up personally to ensure they are aware of their options and to offer additional support if needed. Our commitment remains to provide each patient with the care and service they signed up for, regardless of the circumstances.

I was on accutane for the standard…

I was on accutane for the standard protocol and I had no problems at all. I just finished my treatment. If I had any issues or questions they responded fairly quickly. I would recommend this to anyone who had any problems with acne or their skin.
