Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service, absolutely shocking treatment... Bought a HP envy laptop for my daughter to see her through sixth form after using for a year, became apparent the left hinge was becoming loose and catching when opening, while checking on the Internet for repairs i was then made aware that this is a manufacting fault with the product that Hewlett Packard was not acknowledging,.. I went back and forth with customer services, asked to speak to manager which declined, tried reasoning that this is a warranty issue but a design fault to no avail... I vowed never to buy another HP device after this poor service... AVOID ENVY Laptops iinfact AVOID HP... I'D HAVE PREFERED TO LEAVE NO STARS

PROBLÈME DE LIVRAISON AVEC CHRONOPOST

Incompétence de CHRONOPOST
Je suis un de vos plus fidèles clients de HP pour l'achat de mes ordinateurs et je n'ai jamais été déçu par leurs prestataires de livraison
Lors de mon dernier achat, HP a utilisé la société Chronopost pour effectuer la livraison.
Chronopost ne m'a pas informé du jour prévu pour la livraison de cette commande et ne m'a pas informé que le colis n'avait pas pu être livré à mon domicile. Il ne m'a pas informé non plus qu'il avait été déposé dans la poste du chef lieu de canton.

D'autre part, aucune étiquette portant le numéro de livraison émanant de Chronopost n'avait été collée sur le colis.

Le personnel de la poste concernée m'a d'ailleurs informé qu'il n'avait pas pu enregistrer le dépôt de ce colis car il ne comportait pas de numéro ou code barre pour l'identifier.

Étant un très fidèles client de HP, j'espère que ce genre de livraison problématique ne se renouvellera pas.
J'ai conseillé à HP de ne plus utiliser CHRONOPOST pour effectuer leurs livraisons.

HP SAV minable

"Votre appareil a plus de 5 ans, pas de prise en charge par Hewlett Packard, on vous envoie une liste des réparateurs qui feront le job à condition d'avoir des pièces de rechange".
J'attends toujours.
L'obsolescence est donc bien programmée, le blabla publicitaire n'est que posture, dont imposture.

Don't buy hp products!!

Have always loved hp items. That is until I did my first online order thru them. Once I received the USB port, realized it wasn't working properly. Packed it up to return. First issue was the website wouldn't process a return. Tried 6 or 7 times but kept getting the message to try sometime later. So I called customer service. Well, because I didn't call tech support first & get some kind of code, I was a liar! Top that off thet take a processing fee!! That is unacceptable!!! Then I have to drop it off at fed ex even though the rep said they would pick it up!!! I live very rural & can't drive so with fed ex being an hour away, I can't return it!!!!! I will NEVER buy any hp products again!!!!!!!!

I would give a 5 star review if I…

I would give a 5 star review if I didn't get exhausted from waiting on the phone for almost an hour to speak with a technician. I had to hang up and call back and DEMAND immediate attention after that long waiting period. I had to demand immediate supervisor attention.

I got connected to Neal in the Philippines and he was AWESOME. It took us a good 45 - 50 minutes to resolve the issue and he was committed to getting it fixed!! Hats off to him.

You'd get 5 stars because of Neal, but your breakdown and time consuming of getting to Neal or someone else qualified really really is the reason for 2 stars.

Neal is ☆☆☆☆☆, customer service and getting connected is 1 ☆

Obsolescence programmée et gâchis

L'imprimante HP OfficeJet Pro 8400 (achetée 135€ p!) n'a tenu que deux ans (132 pages/mois en moyenne), c'est de l’obsolescence programmée, c'est inacceptable ! Depuis quelques jours, la qualité d'impression était devenue médiocre. Toutes les manœuvres de maintenance ont été tentées, y compris avec l'assistance téléphonique du HP support, pour qu'on me dise finalement que l'imprimante devait être changée car pas de maintenance possible. J'ai eu précédemment deux imprimantes CANON qui ont duré 10 ans chacune, je n’achèterai plus jamais HP. De plus, en résiliant HP Instant Ink (abonnement mensuel pour l'envoi de cartouches d'encre), j'ai découvert que les cartouches qui me restaient ne fonctionnerait plus dans 2 jours (et j'ai encore quatre cartouches en stock, et HP m'envoie encore des cartouches la semaine prochaine), quel gâchis pour l'environnement, ces cartouches iront au recyclage (donc à la poubelle). HP est une entreprise qui se fiche complétement de l'environnement !

Awful HP Chromebook

I have an 11in Lenovo C330 Chromebook that has an excellent screen and is very fast (owned over a year). My only disappointments are the 32gb limit and that the extra miro SD card extends too for out from the side.
During Nov 2021 sales, I bought an HP x360 Chromebook, 14in., with 128gb limit, and minor micro SD slot exposure.
My major disappointment is that it is noticeably slower, but even WORSE is the horrible screen resolution. Under normal like, the screen is not sharp and looks like 240x240 resolution.
I filed a concern with HP.com, but the website said my issue was NOT covered and had to go to paid service WITH NO GUARANTEE the problem would be fixed.
That is my reason for the 1 star.
PS, the HP x360 was used one week, then reboxed to the back of a closet.

Bitte nichts von HP kaufen!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leider muss man mindestens einen Stern abgeben und es gibt keine Minussterne.
Support nicht erreichbar. Keine Support Mailadresse zu finden.
Mein Laserjet Drucker ist ständig offline, wenn ich ihn mal brauche, muss immer erst neu starten. Keine Hilfe, sollte per Software beseitigt werden.
Nach Softwareupdate, keine Faxfunktion mehr.
Alles deinstalliert und neu aufgesetzt. Wie gehabt, Drucker ständig off, Faxfunktion wurde bei der Einrichtung deaktiviert. Nicht von mir, ich wurde überhaupt nicht gefragt. Kein Button "aktivieren" zu finden. Drucker fast unbrauchbar. Bei der Einrichtung wird gefragt, wo ich das Teil nutze. Sprache kann ich auf Deutsch setzen, aber Deutschland gibt es in der Auswahl überhaupt nicht. Habe einfach mal Argentinien angeklickt. Als alles fertig war, kam dann auch prompt eine Testseite aus dem Drucker,natürlich in spanisch. Die beiden Laptops von HP, eines 1400€(Wein drüber gekippt), das jetzige 1600€ sind allerdings Top, was den unterirdischen sogenannten und nicht vorhandenen Support auch nicht ausgleicht. Die einzige Seite, wo man evtl. Hilfe bekam (HP Forum) wurde einfach geschlossen und man soll als DEUTSCHER das englichsprachige Forum benutzen. Für wen halten die sich? einen neuen Drucker werde ich demnächst in Angriff nehmen, aber 100%ig kein HP Gerät. Und Laptophersteller gibt es zum Glück auch noch genügend Andere. Offensichtlich sind die nicht am Privatanwender interessiert. Sollte man unbedingt boykottieren. So ein Geschäftsgebaren geht gar nicht. Vielleicht können die das mit den Amis machen, aber wir Deutschen sollten nichts mehr von HP kaufen.

Built in obsolescence, awful customer service and a rip off

Built in obsolescence makes it very bad for environment and expensive for us to buy new every 2 years while tech support and customer service are unbelievably bad. this seems to be a matter of policy

I bought a lovely printer in 2020 but HP make them so that while working perfectly well in perfect condition and while you are subscribed to their instant ink , after its about 2 years old they just stop sending firmware updates and you get blue screen of death

I am disabled but the techs made me physically repeat over and over again the same useless steps insisting that i was doing it wrong until i made videos showing me doing it right!!! and then they said it cannot be fixed its out of warranty so we wont do anything. This went on over and over because they would randomly recontact asking what they could do to help but make me go back over and over and over the steps--despite my begging them to move on to some other solution as I was being caused pain.
They said the machine was broken and cannot be fixed but then said that they had spoken tot eh higher ups and i would be contacted with a solution but it was a lie

Then they tried to make me go to their shop, 60 miles away despite my being unable to carry it and having cancer (so dangerous for me as omicron was then rampant), and when pressed about why I should go there and what would happen, they said if I went there I might get a discount on a new one!!!!

So it is clear their policy is to prevent printers from working and try to make you buy a new one. they have no way to connect the printer to the router directly and although when you connect it to the laptop, the laptop sees it, it wont download the needed firmware onto the printer

To add insult to injury when the printer went off line the instant ink account which costs me £10 a month de linked it and so now i cannot cancel that instant ink account so i get demands to pay for ink --20 times a day (i am not kidding).
I asked the tech dept to help me log on to the instnat ink account as i just get error messages--as usuall they think disabled people are stupid and keep sending me the links i used before asking them to help. At no point did they give me a phone number.
I just wanted to pay the exorbitant exit fee and get away from them. I cannot log on as no printer so it just comes up with error every time I click on the links sent to me at least once every hour...

it's a nightmare which wont end. I get demands to pay and no human to talk to to help me so i must pay for the rest of my life it seems for ink that will never be delivered or used

the printer was not a cheap model and i have paid nearly £1000 for ink but only had two refills so i would suggest never ever join instant ink. unless the cancer kills me soon i will have paid thousands for literally nothing as there is no printer linked to the ink...

finally did find a phone number myself and am hoping that I can get out of this dreadful contract before i die..

there is no complaints dept by the way in HP

178NW Laser Printer, NO Customer Services!

178NW Laser Printer, After 8 months of use the printer decides it doesn't want to connect to the home wifi or direct wifi! Oh and no customer service support to be found! Apparently even though I have 8 months remaining on my warranty HP don't offer any service for this printer!! Completely useless and I won't buy again! Off to buy an Epson which is where I should have gone originally. Not Happy.

HP 15-CS.. nuovo da buttare via

Mi è stato regalato a Natale 2018 un PC portatile HP-15 CS0038NL sottile, elegante, bianco (cifra spesa € 749)
dopo 16 mesi si è spento improvvisamente senza capire il motivo. Il rivenditore lo ha spedito in garanzia alla HP ed è tornato a maggio 2020 con "scheda madre" sostituita perché rotta. Purtroppo questo PC sicuramente è difettoso, perché a dopo 12 mesi dalla sostituzione della scheda madre, nuovamente si è spento ma questa volta, essendo passati 2 anni e 4 mesi dall'acquisto, non mi è stato passato in garanzia. E' stato spedito alla HP dal mio rivenditore e l'azienda ha risposto che per cambiare la scheda madre (nuovamente, perché si era rotta proprio quella dopo solo 1 anno) avrei dovuto pagare € 650 !
Ho deciso di riprendermi il pc rotto (ed ho pagato € 30 per aver spedito all'HP e chiesto che problema avesse il loro maledetto PC).
Non acquisterò mai più da HP!
Se vi accorgete di un errore di frabbricazione dovreste derogare alla regola dei "2 anni". Qui era evidente il caso, perché è ovvio che questo PC è nato difettoso.
Mi aspettavo il cambio in garanzia... € 749 BUTTATE VIA PERCHE' QUESTO PC E' CHIUSO NELLA SCATOLA NUOVO MA INUTILIZZABILE
Delusione totale.

Worst expenditure I have ever made,

After returning computer every month for 6 months I sent it to Waste Management to be serviced and haven't had a problem since. I'd suggest ANY OTHER BRAND. I gave my granddaughter a "Barbie Computer" last Christmas and she has better results than I have with "HP",

Horrible. Go with Dell.

I have the HP Envy x360, and for whatever reason the engineers were stupid enough to put the screws to access the internals under the rubber strips, so the adhesive is horrible. Half of one of the two will not stick at all.

And on top of that they gave their customers a huge middle finger and put a T4 screw that you need to remove to access the internals. What's a T4? I don't know.

Also they make you PAY TO TALK TO A HUMAN IF YOUR WARRANTY EXPIRES. I LITERALLY WANT TO BUY SOMETHING FROM YOU.

HP-Kundendienst in Genf ist eine Katastrophe und der schlimmste Kundendienst aller mir bekanntne Unternehmen schweizweit!

Am 10.8. telefonierte ich wegen einer defekten neuen HP-Druckerpatrone und man versprach mir Ersatz zu senden. Troz Riesenaufwand die Patrone mehrmals von allen Seiten zu fotografieren und die Fotos zu mailen, obwohl ich auch d. extakte Nummer u. Produktecode schon am Telefon durchgegeben hatte! Nichst passierte und ich habe noch mehrmal, sogar bis Oktober angerufen (Dank Homeoffice Gelegenehit und mehr Zeit für solch unnötigen Zusatzaufwand). Verschedene Mitarbeiter hatten jedes mal eine andere fadenscheinige AUSREDE parat, sodass ich es inzwischen aufgegben habe! NIE WIEDER IM LEBEN werde ich ein in HP-PRODUKTE kaufen, weder Notebooks, noch Drucker. Es ist scheinbar höchste Zeit, dass der Konsumentenbschutz sich um solche Missstände kümmert. Mein gesamtes privates und berufliches Netzwerk habe ich bereits vor HP gewarnt...

Ordered a laptop that was allegedly in stock. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Finally….laptop not in stock after several weeks of emails. Refunded. My other option was a Samsung…funnily enough not in stock now.
If you ain’t got it in stock don’t try and sell it…..

$20 Cost them a Customer for Life!

I bought a new printer from Costco and opted in for the HP Smart Ink program when I installed it. We weren't using the program so after 3 weeks we just canceled. HP then billed me $20 for the "extra" pages we printed. We never even got through the cartridges that came with the printer. So HP double billed us for the printing we did while trying their "risk free" program! When I disputed the charge HP try to extort a membership out of me stating they could only take care of the $20 if I signed back up for the membership for a few more months!
Took the printer back to Costco. Never again! HP lost a customer over $20. TERRIBLE customer service!!

HP ENVY 5010

This is by far the worst printer I have EVER owned.

With other printers, you press print and it prints, you press scan and it scans. NO! Not the HP Envy 5010! With the Envy 5010, you press anything and it gives you an error message. Then after a couple of hours messing around with the settings, because it is impossible to get through to anyone at HP customer support, and if you are lucky, only then will it print or scan something!

This printer is a useless waste of money! Since the warranty has now expired, I will soon be sending it to exactly where it belongs...the scrap heap!

DON'T buy a HP product

DON'T buy a HP product, I have HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All in One printer and have many problems.
IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE FOR TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
They have even told me my product is out of warranty - I HAVE ANOTHER TWO MONTHS TO RUN!!!!
