Excess fees
I’ve purchased a lot of cars over the years, a lot… this is the first time that I actually was left speechless. I called on the price of a car, ready to pay cash. I know that there are always some hidden dealer fees that they don’t show when advertising on sites like auto trader. But the price of this car went up $5000 with the fees that they tacked on. Blown away. Who does that?

Dishonest and Disrespectful – Very Negative Experience
Review:
I visited HGreg in Doral with my wife to see a 2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG G53 with 8,931 miles, listed for $67,996 and with 7 seats. The vehicle was perfect for our needs and, after my wife got excited about it, the salesperson told us the car had already been sold and they were just waiting for it to be picked up.
The strange part is—if it was truly sold, why was it still in their inventory and advertised?
The very next day, the same vehicle was still listed on their website. I called to confirm, and another person told me the car was still available. I asked to speak with a manager to make sure I wasn’t wasting my time again, but instead I was sent to a call center where I was then told the car “was sold today.”
In other words: contradicting stories, zero communication, and a complete lack of professionalism.
If a customer leaves their contact information and expresses interest, the least you can do is have the courtesy to call them back if the vehicle becomes available again. Instead, we were left with a frustrating, confusing, and unprofessional experience.
I would not recommend this dealership. Selling cars is more than just moving inventory—it’s about honesty, transparency, and respecting the customer’s time. On those points, they failed completely.
Egregious DEALER fees (non dmv) and forced add ons.
Every dealer publishes a price that does not include taxes and fees, but HGreg.com is extremely egregious. Everyone has DMV fees and most have dealer fees. HGreg charges a whopping $2200 in NON DMV dealer fees which is double the average fee in Florida. In addition, they require a $1,500 paint and fabric protection package which cost them a small fraction of what they charge.
When I went to test a 2024 Corolla LE, priced at $19500 with 30K miles the salesman kept going on and on about how they are cheaper than CarMax, Autonation, and all dealerships nationwide. Once I sat down for numbers, the total out the door price was over $25K, and there was zero negotiating. I told him I could get a new one for about the same price; he laughed.
I found a NEW 2025 Toyota Corolla LE for $24k out the door. I had to negotiate with several dealerships and do the work, but I found one!
Hgreg is a true baiter!
Hgreg is a true baiter!! I just bought a car from an Hgreg dealership. They have great prices to lure you in but then they tack on a $1,600.00 stupid warranty that you HAVE TO PURCHASE!! There's no other option if you want the car!!! I didn't want the damn warranty but I wanted the car!! Now I have buyers remorse! Stay away from this place! Go somewhere else. Every dealership will attempt to sell you a warranty but any other dealership will let you refuse to purchase it. Not this place!!!! Hgreg is a GIANT SCAM!!!
Wanted to go and look at a cayenne they…
Wanted to go and look at a cayenne they offered to drive it to me for a deposit. I said I would be happy driving down to look at it but the insisted the car was in a1 condition. The car turns up on time as promised but the boot would not open off the fob or from the switch inside.the driver tells me it's just the fob battery. 35 years in this trade I know its not.take it for a test drive and its all over the shop under braking .tell them I don't want the car and the boss calls me try very hard to pressure me into buying asking me to make him an offer. I tell him it's not about the money and that I would sooner pay more money for a car that's right . Not happy that I rejected it but I did clearly state that if it was as described I would buy it .lost a couple of hundred quid than a massive amount of money. Steer clear of this company
I would give them a zero if I could
I would give them a zero if I could. I communicated a half dozen times with a Samantha Pita. Specifically asked if the car I was interested was still available. Was told yes. Asked her to verify, I was going to be driving an hour and a half, maybe two hours with traffic. Was told yes. Drove there, took me almost two hours in 5 o'clock traffic and they sold the car a day or two ago.
The sales rep tells me Samantha works the internet and goes by what's listed online, not what's on the lot. What a stupid statement. Shouldn't what's online be what's available. Shouldn't she have checked when I specifically asked because I was going to be driving two hours? Then they have the audacity to ask me if I'd like to see any other cars that actually have available.
Horrible experience.
Buyer beware just doesn't cut it
This outfit is a textbook example of what happens when a big company gets too comfortable with being shady. H Greg appears to operate under the illusion that bait-and-switch is still a viable sales tactic in 2025. They advertise vehicles that either never existed or were sold long ago—probably to lure people into calling so they can pivot and push other inventory. The car I was interested in was aggressively priced, and while I knew it sounded too good to be true, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake.
I’m a seasoned car buyer and collector. I know what I’m looking at, and I expect a conversation with someone who does too—not a runaround. I always insist on a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) through a franchise dealer or qualified local tech. But I never got the chance, because over a week and a half, I called four times and was dumped into a voicemail that proudly announced, “You’ve reached the VIP sales line,” only to then follow up with the classic kiss-off: “This mailbox is full and cannot accept any more messages.” Click.
That sums up the professionalism here. If they make it hard before you buy, imagine what happens after they’ve got your money. My rule is simple: if a car is hard to buy, walk away. This isn’t the '90s—you don’t need to deal with a local snake oil lot anymore. “Buyer beware” is just code for “we’re about to screw you—hope you're paying attention.”

Terrible place
Terrible place. SCAMMERS!!! BUYERS BEWARE. THEY CHARGE $3500 IN FEES. Tried to charge my 19yo daughter 16% interest we walked due to them being scammers. They called today and offered 6% Terrible dealership. DON'T GO
Unwanted mandatory mark-ups make H.GREG a dudThough the sales team individuals are…
Though the sales team individuals are generally friendly, helpful, and as honest as they can be given what they have to work with, the subsequent upcharges and mandatory "handling" and service fees for stupid things you don’t need (i.e. $1,500 in MagniShield bullcrap that ultimately ruins your windshield) adds unnecessary thousands to their misleading enticement list prices. Their in-house financing also tends to be a couple percentage points higher than it should be in a more competitive lending environment. Post-sales service, sympathy, and support are virtually non-existant. Their car inspection policy failed me terribly when they sold me a Kia with a 9-degree rear misalignment thst ultimately cost me 4 new tires after an unexpected blowout three months later in the middle of nowhere. In short, hidden, mandatory and stupid markups and price inflexibility make this car shopping experience a dud. H.Greg needs to revamp their sales model. I will never return to them as a customer.
Fraudulent dealership
Fraudulent dealership. Gave the old bait and switch. Drove 45 minutes to see a car they promised would be ready to test drive. Oops, it's in for body work, but would you like to see a more expensive vehicle?
Amazing Experience
Amazing Experience! Highly Recommend! ✨
This isn’t the first time we've bought or recommended cars from this place, and once again, they did not disappoint. We were treated with kindness and professionalism from the moment we walked in.
Tahin was our salesperson, and he was outstanding. He was patient, truly listened to what we were looking for, and helped us find a reliable, beautiful car with a warranty, everything we hoped for and more.
He's a kind, hardworking young man who genuinely cares about helping people, not just making a sale.
Luigi, the finance person, was also incredibly helpful and respectful, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.
If you’re thinking about buying a car, ask for Tahin. He’ll take care of you the right way. We’re so happy with our purchase! J & J

I bought a 2025 INFINITI QX60 AUTOGRAPH listed on Cars.com for $57,998.
I was not pressured into buying any additional insurance, and this vehicle was bought for 9k lower than any other advertised vehicle in the market. Great appreciation to my salesman Mohamed
HGREG -Stay Away- Read the reviews!!
I reached out 2 days ago asking for a buyer's order. I had picked out the vehicle I wanted to purchase and was trying to wrap up my financing with my bank.
I have called and emailed 3 more times, with no responses. They are wasting my time. I have been told that getting a buyer's order could take some time..... That makes no sense. It's a simple document. Other places I have requested can generate it in seconds. Shady, shady...
I own 2 companies and am constantly buying trucks/Vans. We currently have around 20 or so work vehicles.
While waiting I started to read the reviews for them.
Oh my!!!! I am actually glad they stalled so long with my request. I have spent the last 30 minutes reading about them and their business practices.
I will join the large number of recommendations to stay away and take my business elsewhere.
Yikes - save yourself the time and hassle!
Yikes! Like many people have stated the absurd extra fees they add for warranties that are completely useless is a huge con! We saw several vehicles with the same dripping white paint from poor spraying and lots of overspray on the moldings. Obvious in house butcher job as it was exactly the same on 2 of the white cars we looked at. For a warranty that covers tires one of the cars had bald tires! So you moment you drive out and need to replace those tires you void your own warranty!
The sales staff were friendly but it was obvious that they knew exactly what was going on behind the scenes, the rep did not seem surprised when I pulled out of the deal at the last second after seeing the poor paint job on a “clean” vehicle!
They will steal from you
They will steal from you. They are scammers. Look into their fake "ratings". 100% scammers. Promise you do not want to buy a car from them. Look at their BBB record instead of this fake google stuff.
Absolutely Horrible Experience
Absolutely Horrible Experience — Avoid HGreg at All Costs
I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of HGreg. While our salesman was great, the rest of the experience was an absolute nightmare riddled with unethical practices, poor communication, and a complete lack of accountability.
First, they added a non-optional “Elite Protection Package” for $1,500 — an outrageous hidden fee disguised as an add-on that we had no choice but to pay. Despite this, we proceeded with the purchase, even knowing the car’s AC wasn’t working. They assured us it was a simple Freon issue and gave us a written promise to fix it.
Getting them to honor that promise was a battle. Calls went unanswered, voicemails ignored, and after countless attempts, they finally scheduled an appointment. I was told the repair would take a couple of hours, so I took time off work. Upon arrival, they informed me it would actually take three days — and since they don’t work weekends, I was left without transportation and no assistance from them to get a loaner.
When I eventually dropped the car off, they changed their estimate from three days to a week. After finally getting the car back, it overheated on the way home. Once again, I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone for days. When I finally reached someone, they arranged a tow and claimed to fix the issue — but just three days later, it overheated again.
This time, they told me they would assess the issue and call me — but never did. After chasing them down in person, they claimed a coil needed to be ordered and that it would take another week. When I asked for help arranging alternate transportation, I requested to speak to a manager. Instead, I was met by someone who wasn’t even a manager and was told they wouldn’t fix the car because it “wasn’t promised,” since it was no longer considered an AC issue. They simply told me to take it elsewhere.
To top it off, when I returned to retrieve my car, they couldn’t even find my key for an hour. I ultimately had the car looked at by another mechanic who quickly determined that HGreg had failed to properly “burp” the system, meaning air was trapped — a simple fix that should have been resolved from the start.
This company is deceptive, unprofessional, and completely incompetent. I wouldn’t recommend HGreg to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.
