Purchased the Maple real wood center console trim for 2020 Tesla Model 3. It is an amazing improvement! The wood feels and looks so luxurious! Love it! Awesome compliment to my white interior!

This product is simply the best. Looks terrific, quality is superb and installation couldn’t be easier. The dash has completed the set which included the consul, and adds an aire of luxury. Correspondence with Mehdi was always professional, cordial, and prompt. I do not hesitate to recommend this product and Hills!
P.S. Everyone wants the product ordered, now, however, with covid and supply issues I waited over 10mo. and Mehdi offered a refund on 2 occasions. I believe these issues have been resolved, and stand by my review. i'm glad I waited.



I received the dash and the center console pieces in Maple trim. The product is very nicely made. Build quality is very good. Color of the Maple veneer, almost creamy white with a slight pink hue is very nice! It has a fine matte finish on top of the veneer. This at once brightens the interior without glaring in the sunlight. Well thought out finish.

I also did not experience the 3 month delays others are mentioning. I received the center console pieces in 1 week, and the dash piece in 2 weeks, even though they were shipped the same time, and the very day I ordered. Due to a lot of shipping delays during COVID times, I was okay with that duration for shipping.

About the only concern is that the adhesive used (3M VHB peel and stick) is very strong. The moment you peel it and touch the surface that you are mounting on, you are pretty much stuck with the position of the veneer. This means you have to absolutely make sure the alignment is right.

I had some small mishap (slight misalignment) with a center console piece but carefully, and using a lot of strength pulled it back, so as to not break the piece or damage the underlying substrate. I also used a small putty knife to carefully separate the adhesive layer from the surface it was sticking to. It does come off, and you can stick it back on. However, it is pretty harrowing. :-)

Once I did that, I re-aligned and everything looks great.

Overall, I’d highly recommend this product to anyone looking to add a little flair and real wood richness to the ultra cheap and drab interior of the stock Model 3.

So far, I have been waiting for my order for 3 months. May update and add stars if things change for the positive.

I truly think that this company probably put out good work once they do work but all I received from them was excuse after excuse after excuse.
I am not going to speak too much on them in a very bad way even though there is what I feel would be plenty of words I could use that would be unsatisfactory to out out online.
End results is that I would not EVER! do business with them again. It's been over 3mos and I still have not gotten what I have paid for.

Seit ca. 2 Monaten gibt es eine neue Shoppingplattform, die sehr unübersichtlich ist.
Es war auch eine neue Registrierung erforderlich und Ausloggen nicht möglich.
Man braucht sehr viel Zeit um zu dem gewünschten Produkt zu gelangen
Die Lieferzeiten haben sich auch verlängert und die Qualität des Futters hat nachgelassen.
Ich bin sehr enttäuscht.

I had been looking for just the right center console cover for my Model Y—nothing plastic, nothing tacky, nothing commercial. It took a while, but I found it with Hills. The custom-cut wood panels are gorgeous—the one I chose is just beautiful, for the eyes and to the touch. The problem of course with wood is the environmental footprint; what ultimately made me feel comfortable with ordering from Hills is that their wood is sustainably sourced. On top of that they fund tree planting (which they don't advertise on their site, you only find out about it when you receive your shipment, which I've never seen a company do before—to me that speaks true commitment, not marketing).

There were a few minor hiccups with the order: it took longer than estimated—but given this is a very young company with physical products to source and ship during a pandemic, one does have to be a little patient and understanding. The other hiccup was that the center panel was a few millimeters too short (a few others have made the same comment here). However, the founder explained to me the intention there was to ensure the center panel had enough room to open and close. When I insisted it would be fine and I still wanted it redone, he personally saw to it that a new center panel was cut to my specifications and had it shipped out, at no extra cost, either for the panel or shipping. The second piece is absolutely perfect, opens and closes fine, and I now have the center console cover I've dreamed of.

Highly recommend these center console covers, and highly recommend Hills. I would much rather have this warm, human connection with a smaller company than the usual impersonal call center of a massive corporation.

My experience with Hillsmade has been excellent and very professional. They sell quality products and have customer service that rivals the best companies out there. I was in communications with Hillsmade staff before I placed my order and they helped me decide on the correct product. They were also very open with all requested information (such as materials, finish, installation, and more). I would absolutely do business again with them.

Fit is good, not great (especially middle door on console)
The 3m adhesive is wayy too strong and unruly.

I suggest not using that and using gorilla glue’s double side tape.

The material and quality is excellent that's for sure; however, the look is just off with the center section piece not at appropriate measurements like the other pieces and becomes an eye strain losing what should be an elegant addition to the car.

Great product. High quality and very understated to go along with model 3 interior. I felt the center section was a bit narrower than necessary and rather obvious - would have liked it to be slightly wider , that’s why 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise outstanding.

Well made product. Took a while for shipping but understandable since item is popular.

The texture and look is great the fit is just a few millimeters off. I know that doesn’t seem like much but when looking for continuity, it doesn’t match up perfectly. The long wait was also bothersome.

Fantastic product. As good as it looks on the website. The CEO kept me in the loop on production and shipping. Great customer service. I wish all companies did as well.

The wait was well worth it. After our Walnut console cover arrived, I watched the video on how to install it and all went well. It is important to line up one edge carefully and slowly lay it into place, paying attention to centering both sides and allowing room for the mechanisms to swing open. The results are amazing and has made our model Y's interior look even classier!

Great product. Installed their walnut center console veneer to my 2020 Tesla Model 3 Performance. I’m very demanding on aftermarket stuff i install to my car. It needs to look as good or better than OEM equipment. This certainly does. A significant improvement.

I had a problem with installation and they happily assisted me. Communication has been superb. Shipping was somewhat slow, but that’s to be expected as the item ships from Europe and has to clear US Customs. Item itself is very well made, great appearance and appears very durable. I’d recommend it to anyone that has a Tesla.

We purchased two sets of Model 3/Y Center Console covers. One set in walnut and the other in purple heart. The quality of the panels, in both looks and strength, exceeded our expectations. The product brings a warmth to the cabin while also adding a sense of elegance.

The purchase was not without significant delays. The five star rating stays anyway for two reasons. First, some of the delay was due to COVID-19 effects in shipping. This is decidedly outside the control of Hills Made. Second, the company was highly communicative and transparent all during the process. Regular emails, with photos and sharing of shipping information, were open and honest about the manufacture and shipping of our sets. While we didn’t like to wait, the wait was bearable because of their proactive connection. And the product was worth the wait!

I ordered the console cover for my Model 3 a while back and it took some time for them to create the initial product - but they kept me informed every step of the way - great communication and support!  It was delivered yesterday and everything about it was exceptional - the packaging was extremely secure and environmentally sensitive (there is a note that they are big on wood sustainment as well), the console cover is a thin natural wood and is strong - not floppy or flexible, the grain and walnut color are a perfect match for my Model 3 dashboard.  There is also no metal backing like other competitor's products that interferes with the operation of the NFC-based Tesla card.  I installed the console cover right away and the fit is perfect.  There is a little bit of a gap around the door but it *is* a door and it needs proper clearance across all console variances in all Teslas.  The final effect when installed is spectacular!  I absolutely love it and would recommend to anyone who likes a little natural material accent that looks and feels beautiful and matches perfectly with Tesla's own wood touches - this is the product.  You can also opt for a new dash cover and change the whole thing if you want as well.  I have been waiting for a high enough quality cover since 2018 and this is it!
