UPDATE:
Finally got hold of Vidisha from Homeloft. After a lot of emails back and forwards (over Christmas and New Year) I got a full refund. Vidisha was pretty awesome replying to all my emails so for that I give her 5 STARS. But as for the product itself 0 stars as it was fake and not authentic as the their website advised. Overall I’m changing my 1 star review to 3 stars because of Vidisha was sooooo helpful. (04 Jan 2025)

Ordered 4 Guinness glasses from Homeloft NZ
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY
1. NOT a NZ based company. The 0800 number is fake and so is their address!!!
2. They sell your info to 3rd party so I ended up getting 10 emails a day from random shipping companys with a tracking link. All with different email address each time.
3. Yes I did get my order (arrived from USA??)
4. Not the Guinness glasses I ordered
5. Worst of all I paid a huge price for FAKE very cheap knock offs.
OVERALL not even worth a 1 star review.
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED I JUST WANT A REFUND..

I ordered a a stereo rack

I ordered a a stereo rack, tried to cancel the order within refund policy, have heard nothing, no reponse to email and phone number does not connect. I have not received the goods or any notification that it is being delivered. After reading other reviews, I can only assume I have fallen into the fate as others who have ordered from this company.

Ordered and paid $248 for a Christmas…

Maybeca scam Ordered and paid $248 for a Christmas gift for my husband. They did email to say it had been packaged and that they woukd be in touch shortly with tracking details. Have had nothing further. Have sent two emails with no response. Customer service no in NZ doesn't work. I think this must be a scam.

BEWARE!! OVERSEAS ELECTRICAL ITEMS WILL NOT WORK IN NEW ZEALAND

Although the item took some time to arrive the communication kept me informed & updated. **UPDATE*** Item arrived with US plug so had to buy adapter to get it to work (which HomeLoft reimbursed) HOWEVER it was also the wrong voltage for NZ so unless I buy a $500 transformer to convert the voltage (!!) the item is totally useless and unfit for use in New Zealand!! BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! HomeLoft now expecting me to return the item to the US and then will consider a refund. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!

This is not a NZ company

Order NZ-HL#P835750304
Ordered a wooden Urn box for my bothers ashes. I thought it was an NZ company. They have ordered it from America. The tracking says it arrived in Auckland on the 4th December. I've tried to contact Homeloft twice to ask for updated delivery date. ..but I've had no reply.

Terrible customer service

I ordered a wine bottle rack off this website thinking it was a NZ site. Heard absolutely nothing from the company re dispatch for weeks despite multiple emails asking for a update. Finally got and update that the item was out of stock when I asked for a refund they have gone absolutely out of there way to avoid refunding my money. Suddenly I have daily emails from them offering alternative products and discounts etc despite my very clear request for a refund from the beginning. Don't waste your time with this company.

Ordered a product 2 months ago and it…

Ordered a product 2 months ago and it still hasn’t arrived. They said they reissued the order 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t arrived. They also leaked or sold my details online and another company passing off as there’s tried to charge me import duties. They are continuing to contact me with fake requested fur CC details.

Update; The product finally arrived in a re-used box with makeshift packing. What makes this even worse is it's 120v with a US plug. In NZ we're 240v so this product is completely useless. I've asked for my money back but I doubt this will happen. What a shambles.

I purchased a steamer from this…

I purchased a steamer from this website, assuming it was a NZ company as it had an address in Parnell, however when it arrived it had a US plug, reached out they offered to buy the adapter but the steamer didn’t work- faulty. They now tell me to send it back to the states, and I have to pay for shipping??? What the hell. They’re not a NZ company, do not buy electronics from this website, the equipment isn’t equipped for our power… I want my money back !!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't find this product anywhere in NZ.

I have a beautiful set of Butler Sheffield silver plate cutlery. Nobody wants silver anymore because it
requires cleaning/polishing regularly.
I'm always looking for products that will maintain
my silverware and slow down the tarnishing.
Hagerty Silver Care products have been around for
generations. This particular storage product wasn't available anywhere in Auckland, NZ. It was expensive to get it here. It's really just over-sized silver polishing cloths stitched together and glued over a silver
cutlery tray with a zipper to keep it airtight.
I'm unsure how well it will work, but I'm glad I've got it
and I've done everything I can to maintain my silver
cutlery set for the next generation.

Avoid being conned....

This company is totally dishonest - I received a product - 3 times more costly than paid, by them, to Amazon USA. Practically they order on Amazon - this I know because an Amazon delivery note for various goods was left in the bag with the piece I ordered. Their price was already discounted and their original price was just 6 times over the one they paid to Amazon.... The reply to my review is typical of this group - typecast... They have many sites - take particular care with those having "nine" in their links - have seen 5lbs of sausages being sold for around NZ$120 - discounted from NZ$460! Their trade is called "Dropshipping" and presumably they are selling their customer information to scammers in India. Lately scam has increased and "delivery" mails are coming through - so be aware - trust the negative reviews more.
