We believe we have found our dream home and wanted advice on the best way of selling our property quickly. Booked a 20 minute call with Matthew that ended up lasting nearly an hour. He took time to listen and understand our property situation and gave us totally unbiased advice, specifically tailored to our situation. Explaining the pros and cons of each option open to us, to move our house sale forward and achieve the best possible price. Having engaged an estate agent to market and sell my deceased Mother's home, which needed to be updated and modernised. However, after 5 months on the market with minimal viewings and no offers, the service being provided was non existent, lacking in communication and proactivity, (having to chase for updates and even suggest price reductions!). We engaged Matt and Kirsty after 4 months of lack lustre interest from house viewers and loss of enthusiasm from our estate agents.
Matts presentation on UTube explaining what he saw as the main reasons people can’t sell a house was very informative and has it seems helped a lot of people without their needing to engage Matt.
His ideas are clear and straightforward , starting with ensuring realistic prices being asked for the property, it’s easy to be persuaded, as we were , by an estate agent that you can try for a high initial price and then use that starting point to negotiate lower offers, this approach just puts people off even looking at the property . His small team are in regular contact offering advice and always available on the end of the phone.we were able to influence persons involved in our chain using Kirsty as our intermediate contact. This gave us an ability to understand where problems lay in the chain and take steps to try and move things along. We felt as if we had some degree of influence over what was going on and the feedback we had through Matt and Kirsty was that other parties in the chain were glad to have someone with an overview that was beneficial to them as well as us.
They were very pleasant to deal with and very diligent in their work.

Matthew was brilliant in that he first asked about why I wanted to move and therefore understood my situation, After listening to him,I now have decided to stay put with the agent that I like and be more patient.
