Honeywell home draadloze deurbel gekocht, nu 2 jaar verder toe aan mijn 3e deurbel buiten. Hij vreet celknopen ( batterijen ) en beide deurbellen zaten vol met water. Valt mij tegen van honeywell wat toch een gerenommeerd merk is.

Evohome, Als het werkt is het ideaal
Als het werkt is het ideaal. Echter iedere twee jaar wel een storing. De instructies om dit te verhelpen deugt niet. Men noemt verkeerde acties en gebruikt verkeerde namen (ook door elkaar). Dit geld ook voor de YouTube. Dit kost me ieder 2 jaar ca. 150 euro om een installateur te vragen om de storing te verhelpen.
Evohome -> teleurstellend fabricaat
Het is nu twee jaar geleden dat ik dat Evohome geïnstalleerd heb. Na wat opstartproblemen functioneerde het goed, ik kan iedereen zone regeling aanbevelen! Maar helaas niet Evohome van Honeywell. Honeywell Wifi Color Thermostat - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I purchased a Honeywell Wifi Color thermostat 8 months ago. Last month I got a $400 electric bill even though I keep my AC set to 77 or 78 degrees (not very low for summer in Florida). Upon investigating, I found that the thermostat was not shutting the AC unit off when reaching the temperature set on the thermostat if I set it to 77 or 78 degrees. So, I set the temperature to 79 degrees and the thermostat shut the AC unit off once it reached 79 degrees. I called Honeywell customer support and explained the situation. Their answer was that the thermostat was probably trying to keep the house at the desired temperature. When I provided them with the results of my investigation citing that it worked correctly when set to 79 degrees, they just repeated their previous answer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Harmful ceiling fans
My mother purchased 3 ceiling fans on Amazon sold by Honeywell. The fans have been recalled due to blades coming off and flying through the air. Amazon gave her all the information to contact Honeywell to order replacements. Honeywell passed her on to the manufacturer and then the manufacturer passed her back to Honeywell. Not one company will take accountability and replace the fans or at least give her the $400 back she spent. Money was collected for these fans and pocketed. Your customer service and company transparency lacks and you should be ashamed. Sleep well, knowing your fans can cause serious damage and perhaps death but at least you have your money.
Termostato smart Honeywell/Resideo, ha smesso di funzionare dopo 2 anni
Acquistato un termostato caldaia smart per mezzo dell'installatore ad un costo esorbitante, dopo poco più di 2 anni e dunque a garanzia legale scaduta, il display touch del termostato ha smesso di funzionare, rendendolo illeggibile e dunque impedendo ogni operazione di programmazione su questo. Ho contattato Honeywell per avere spiegazioni in merito, ma sono stato dirottato verso Resideo, che è un brand associato, che a mia conoscenza gestisce la parte Smart del dispositivo. Contattato a mia volta Resideo, mi è stato risposto di rivolgermi al fornitore per problemi di garanzia, ma ovviamente essendo questa scaduta, neanche dal fornitore ho ricevuto risposta in merito. Ora io mi chiedo perché ho dovuto affrontare un costo 10 volte maggiore (rispetto per esempio ad un prodotto cinese), per acquistare da un brand che dovrebbe rappresentare l'eccellenza, e ritrovarmi dopo pochissimo tempo, un dispositivo inutilizzabile, ed un'assistenza post-vendita completamente assente. Decisamente questi due produttori non riceveranno più attenzione da parte mia e non vedranno più i miei soldi. Lascio questa mia recensione per mettere in guardia tutti coloro che stanno pensando ad un acquisto simile, credendo di fare un investimento duraturo per un prodotto affidabile, a fronte dall'elevato costo. Attenzione, non è così per Honeywell/Resideo.
Printer driver cannot be downloaded directly and no support.
If you buy a printer (for labels) you can not download the printer driver directly. You have to make an account on their website and then you have to download their weird "downloading" software that seems to nest itself deep into windows. I can only asume that it is horrible spyware. Since it does require internet connection to downlaod the actual printer driver, you cannot block it's internet access. That is simply a no go, if you do anything important on your PC. Like using it for business, online banking, or just logging into into any other important website. I tried to contact them. Trying to call the phone number (german) would just say that the number does not even exist. I wrote them e-mails and of course no response. A printer that does not come with a printer driver or without direct access to an actual printer driver without the driver itself requiring internet access is unacceptable. The hardware itself might be fine, but as it stands: Avoid that company if you can. Especially if you are a business customer.

JUNK HONEYWELL OSCILLATING FANS!
I have bought six Honeywell fans in the last three years all of them have the same problem, the oscillation mechanism breaks whether it’s the floor fan or the tower fan, the oscillating feature does not work they do not stand behind their products they are a junk company I’m very surprised because they really used to be some good people and products. I tried to call for support when the options would not allow me to speak to anybody because I asked to speak to somebody in English I called back and asked to speak to somebody in Spanish and they immediately answered and attended to me and proceeded to tell me that I was not eligible for a warranty replacement. JUNK!! Helen of Troy is their other company name probably because they’ve burned the name Honeywell.
Scammy style warranty
This device worked fine for the first four years we had our home, then died abruptly. Talking with the customer service, we found that it was still under warranty, but in order to get it replaced we would need to have the technician who installed it come out and install the replacement, which would cost as much as the actual device. This seems especially ridiculous because the device is fairly simple to use and it was designed for anyone to be able to install it.
The actual device is not that great either. The interface is not as sensible as you would think and we keep getting an alert to sign up online (which we've done already) and can't remove the notice. I highly recommend going with another thermostat.
If you want to work for Honeywell buy their Junk!
I purchased a Honeywell touch screen thermostat in November 2024 from Amazon. My wife and I came home and found the screen dead on the thermostat. I replace the 24vac transformer and still no good. This told me that it was something with the Honeywell. I could not get through to phone support, so I did chat. I was chatting for over an hour. They wanted me to troubleshoot their piece of S8274T. I spent 113.00 for a piece of GARBAGE!! Then they said that I would have to file a warranty claim against the company that I purchased it from. You have to be kidding me!! I paid extra money for the Honeywell thinking they were a good company. WRONG!! They have seen their last dollar from me. I will NEVER purchase another Honeywell product no matter what the cost. I wasted my whole day on the phone, taking pictures, checking things. If you want to waste a day or two and end up with nothing, Buy from them.

Absolute nightmare
First of all the app doesn't open all the time. Then when it opens when I try to set the heating valve to a certain temperature via the phone . The heating valve has a different temperature to the phone . Sometimes the monitor and the phone doesn't respond to the heater valve. Even the engineer who installed it wasn't helpful. I think he was having problems with it himself. When I asked about a problem he told me to ring Honeywell customer service number from Google. When I rang Honeywell customer service they were telling me to ask the engineer who fixed it. I explained to Honeywell customer service the engineer told me to contact you. The customer service person said he's only a advisor. He couldn't help me with my problem. I asked him for a phone number of who can help me , he said why am I asking him for a number that's not his job to give phone number. Very unprofessional I thought. I was better off with my old heater system.
Loud Honeywell central heating DT2 thermostat!
Honeywell central heating thermostat (Home DT2 Digital Room Thermostat) bought. It's relay switch (to activate heating on/off) was so loud it could wake you from sleep on the floor above the hall! The helpline were very nice/helpful and very knowledgeable but I felt they already knew about this product quirk. Think the product should be removed/upgraded. Previous Honeywell products have been great - just not this one unfortunately. Item returned and a competitor's thermostat purchased. Sorry on this occasion Honeywell but I will still use you in future-hoping this is a one off
Customer Support: Indifferent and Unhelpful
Customer support was no more helpful than a Google search. Contacted support 2x in 2 days and spoke with 2 different representtives about adding additional functions and devices to a RedLINK wireless thermostat system. Both seemed distracted and indifferent and neither seemed knowledgable about the products. Total waste of time. Because of the "Honeywell Experience" we're planning to ditch the Honeywell Equipment and replace it with a system that's less expensive, with more functionality and support that is responsive.

Zeer ontevreden over de T6 en klantenservice
Afgelopen week ontving ik een nieuwe T6 thermostaat bij mijn nieuwe ketel. Tijdens het verbinden met wifi en de app kreeg ik continu foutmeldingen. De eerste twee keer dat ik contact opnam met de klantenservice, werd ik afgescheept met een handleiding en de mededeling dat het aan mijn modem lag. Ik moest mijn 5GHz netwerk uitschakelen, maar dat kon niet. Wel kon ik een extra 2,4GHz netwerk instellen, maar dat hielp niet.
Bij mijn derde contactmoment werd ik gelukkig wel goed geholpen door een geduldige medewerker. Samen hebben we van alles geprobeerd, maar uiteindelijk wist hij het ook niet meer. Hij gaf het door aan de technische dienst, en de volgende ochtend kreeg ik een mail dat mijn T6 waarschijnlijk defect was.
Ik nam contact op met de leverancier, die een nieuwe ophaalde. Tot mijn frustratie gaf deze exact hetzelfde probleem. Weer belde ik de klantenservice, en deze keer werd mij verteld: “Hij werkt toch? Je kunt toch de temperatuur regelen?” Maar dat was juist het probleem – ik had deze thermostaat juist gekocht om hem via de app te bedienen. Wederom kreeg ik de schuld: het lag aan mijn modem, en ik moest het maar via een hotspot proberen. Ook dat werkte niet.
Opnieuw werd het doorgezet naar de technische dienst. Een medewerker zou mij de volgende dag op een afgesproken tijd terugbellen. Ik stuurde die avond nog extra foto’s van de foutmeldingen. Maar de volgende dag werd ik niet teruggebeld. Uiteindelijk besloot ik het zelf maar weer te proberen. De thermostaat was vier uur bezig met synchroniseren en leek eindelijk klaar.
Later wilde ik de druk van mijn ketel controleren en zette deze per ongeluk uit en weer aan. Toen ik beneden kwam, deed de thermostaat het opeens. Dit hele proces heeft me negen uur gekost, exclusief de tijd die nodig was voor de synchronisatie.
Uiteindelijk belde de klantenservice me terug met de mededeling: “Hij werkt nu toch?” Alsof het allemaal normaal was. Blijkbaar maken ze dit de hele dag door mee, maar in plaats van een fatsoenlijke oplossing te bieden, laten ze klanten maar aanmodderen. Mijn hele thuisnetwerk raakte verstoord, en verder werd ik totaal niet geholpen. Achteraf hoorde ik zelfs van iemand anders dat dit probleem gewoon aan de goedkope chip in hun product ligt.
Al met al een waardeloze ervaring. Slechte ondersteuning, slechte kwaliteit en veel te veel gedoe. Ik zou de T6 absoluut niet aanraden.

No stars. I want to speak to someone on the phone about a Honeywell product, but none of the phone numbers on the website are recognised. When I do get a number for the Bracknell office, after a couple of minutes waiting, the line goes dead.

Grootste miskoop die ik ooit gedaan heb
Ik heb ongeveer 3 jaar een Honeywell resideo t6 thermostaat thuis en het is de slechtste aankoop die ik ooit gedaan heb hij heeft misschien één maand gewerkt op afstand, en de rest komt er steeds op ; OFFLINE, om gek van de worden, ik heb al veel her geprogrameerd, maar dat ding werkt niet meer, enkel manueel wel, wij zijn dikwijls aan zee en daar hebben we een Bosch thermostaat, die werkt perfect, een echte aanrader, maar als we naar huis rijden, is het ijskoud omdat we die niet kunnen aanzetten, Resideo thermostaat t6, 196 euro gekost, hij vliegt binnenkort buiten, dat ze zo een brol nog durven aanprijzen, of reclame, ze moeten beschaamd zijn, ik zou heel graag ergens klacht indienen, maar ik weet niet goed hoe of waar, de servicedienst kent er zelf ook niets van, heel jammer dat ik geen nul ster kan geven P.
