I returned two items (at a cost of nearly £200) on 9th December, it is now 20th December and no refund has reached my bank, yet a customer service rep tells me the package has been received by their depot.

It is basically theft.

Do not buy from hope and ivy

I love the style of Hope & Ivy clothing but have been very disappointed with many purchases. I ordered dresses with sequins, and the sequins were falling off and threads loose as I got them out of the bag. I kept a dress a couple of years ago, a wrap dress, wore it once and the stitching is already coming very loose on one of the tie arounds so I need to get it repaired. Really disappointing for the price, I won't be buying with them again.

The quality is cheap and also the service no return prepaid option for international shipments really poor experience

I ordered a dress, received in good time. I generated a return and sent via Royal Mail. I was notified that they received on 8th November it is now 22nd November and I am yet to receive my refund despite them commenting here on other negative reviews that they will process within 10 working days. Simply not good enough

I purchased a dress for a special occasion and there was a delay with the courier service. I contacted customer service and they went above and beyond to help send me a replacement even though it wasn't their mistake. Amazing customer service and absolutely stunning dresses. Would 100% recommend.

Terrible for returns.

I’ve been trying to make a return via the company’s Royal Mail link for days. It keeps saying a qr code will be generated and sent to my email but doesn’t materialise. I’ve checked my junk folder.

Tried to make contact through Hope and Ivy’s website and submitting the contact form just links to a captcha ts&cs page.

Edit: received a QR code shortly after leaving a 1 star review. Issue now resolved.

Amazing customer service from Bettina. The dresses are gorgeous but Bettina went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had. Everything I’ve ever ordered from here has been beautiful. Would 100% recommend ✨

The dresses are beautiful no doubt about it but the last two times I've ordered from Hope & Ivy I feel the sizing is off. I am a size 12 and I ordered the Juno dress, I am sorry but that was not a 12. Like I couldn't even zip it, this has happened the last time I ordered a 12 and it ran very small. I do have boobs how ever I feel that's not considered to the average size 12 and upwards. I feel this should be considered to the hour glass shape ladies as we do want to wear your dresses. I dont even think the size 14 would of even fitted me. Maybe put a disclaimer to say the dresses tend to run smaller and to size up. I would love all brands to consider bustier women in general but I guess it is always not so easy.

I can only say I'm very sorry for my previous review, I ordered a dress which was absolutely lovely, but not suitable for the occasion...by my mistake ordered via a 3rd party, after some confusion, Beth the owner contacted me, the situation is now 100% resolved! Thanks so much Hope & Ivy for distinguishing this situation, I look forward to wearing Hope & Ivy with pride good luck ladies

I wanted a dress for my son’s wedding and found the perfect outfit at Hope & Ivy.
However the size I needed was sold out. Bettina in customer services was so helpful and professional. She took my details and as soon as one became available she let me know so I could order it for the wedding. She was absolutely amazing! The personal service provided was second to none and the dress was perfect for our special day. I had so many lovely comments and felt so comfortable in the dress all day. I did have to have it shortened as I’m only 5’2” but found a local tailor who did a great job.
I will definitely shop with Hope and Ivy again next time I need an occasion dress.
They have beautiful dresses and superb customer services which is a winning combination!

I cannot recommend my experience with Hope and Ivy enough, and thank their customer service team for their patience as I have been on what my friends have dubbed the Quest for the Guest Dress!
I first discovered the brand by chance as an American while searching for a wedding guest dress, and fell in love with their upcoming William Morris collaboration. They were responsive, kind and helpful in answering my questions about when the line would launch, and what stock levels would be in my preferred size.
Sadly, when that dress arrived, in just a few short days from the UK to my home in the US (kudos to their selection of shipping via Fedex over Royal Mail here, as a frequent UK to US shopper) it was just slightly too small. I couldn't stand to part with the dress, and thinking that perhaps some clever alterations in the future might make it wearable, I decided to keep it. Finding out that they had a plus-size collection coming with SimplyBe, and knowing how to order with brands that don't ship directly to the US, I resolved to wait and order there. I waited, and SimplyBe was Simply-not-to-Be. After trial and error, many frustrating experiences frustrating with their customer service reps, it became clear this was not going to work.
I simply wanted to provide feedback to Hope and Ivy after my positive interactions with them in the past, and express my hope that in the future, they might be able to host a few more sizes on their own website, which had been much easier to use, and able to access from the US, in the future, in a short message. To my shock and delight, I received a kind message back that they happened to have one of the dresses in the size I needed in their office, and were willing to ship it to their warehouse for purchase. And that as they grow, they hope to be able to offer more sizes in the future. I have spent months looking for a dress for this event, and have had this dress in my mind, and it finally arrived earlier this week. It fits beautifully, and a text from a friend sums it up "wow, I love it, but I love your big smile it in even more!".
Thank you Hope and Ivy! Will be a repeat customer, and cannot wait to patronize your business in future for myself and others as 'wedding season' kicks off in my life.

Gorgeous dresses which are so flattering and excellent quality, definitely worth the money. Can't fault the amazing customer service - really quick replies to all messages (Bettina) and when I asked if I could purchase a replacement button they sent one out to me free of charge within a couple of days. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and will use again.

I have had the most amazing customer experience from Hope & Ivy. I’ve sent 3 messages over the last 24 hours and all have been replied within a couple of hours. They’ve far, far exceeded my expectations. This is my first purchase from them and I have to say, it won’t be my last…. Oh and the dresses are beautiful too. I can’t wait to wear it. Bought these dresses before but this time It didn’t fit . Emailed customer services to be told maybe it was wrongly sized or made in a different factory. Returned the dress sadly it was received back to hope and ivy on the 24th as it’s tracked delivery but still no refund . I see the problems others are having are refunds too. It’s a shame that customer service seems to be their downfall .

I left it really late to order the dress I had been lusting over so got in touch as soon as I placed my order to request that it was sent out ASAP. Betting promptly replied and actioned this for me, and I received a despatch notification shortly after.

The dress arrived 48 hours later and is perfect. The sizing is accurate, the dress is so flattering, and I am now looking forward to a wedding I was previously feeling anxious and self conscious about attending.

I absolutely love the dresses from Hope & Ivy! Amazing quality with such fine and elegant details. I wore the Isla to a wedding yesterday and many compliments were given. Fabulous customer service and would 100% recommend. I ordered one dress which was absolutley stunning but sadly did'nt suit me, I therefore ordered a different style and it's fabulous, so pretty and fits well. I have to say, the dresses are unique and beautifully made, could not recomend enough!
