Alec and his team where absolutely brilliant , they made the days of moving some seamless and stress free , they are so helpful and caring in relation to the move and also understanding of the emotions the customers may be going through when moving house , We can not recommend them enough.

Thankyou to Alec and his team. Very professional, friendly, efficient service.
Would highly recommend.
Price was the best quote I received.
Thanks again

Alec and Patryk were absolutely fabulous! They arrived on time and took excellent care of our things , they worked so hard and made our move as stress free as possible. Would absolutely recommend

Excellent service.
This is the third time we have used Houghton moves and each time they have provided great service.
Friendly staff and always competively priced.

Really helpful professional bunch of guys. Worked really hard to get the move done as quickly as possible while still caring not to damage anything. Went as far as to tighten a few screws which had come lose while in storage without me even asking.

Really efficient and a joy to work with

Houghton moved our home quickly and with a friendly manner. Excellent service, flexible and accommodating. I have recommended them to 3 friends already.

What an amazing service Alec , Patric and Jasmine have given me. I can only highly recommend Houghtons in all respects. I was so impressed with the care and attention to detail but even more than this when it was found an extra van was needed for my move the original quote was honoured in full. I can not see many firms doing this. Moving house is stressful enough so to have a team like Houghtons as your removal specialist is a great help and relief. Thank you all , you have one very happy customer.

Excellent service. Definitely recomment. Calm, professional, patient, and felt like a personal service to help us through a challenging time. And a competite price.

I would like to thank Houghton Move Removals for the fantastic service they provided for LP Archaeology in moving artefacts from one storage to another. Very friendly and helpful team, yet with highly professional attitude, efficiency, excellent communication and a very competitive price make the company being 100% worth recommendation. Thank you!

Really happy to recommend this firm. Their price was competitive, they were careful with our stuff, friendly and on time. Would use again.

We had an amazing experience with this company. Alec and Patrick were punctual, efficient and courteous. The whole experience was made very stress-free. We were so impressed with the way it was all organised. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you so much!

Extremely positive experience all the way !
Alex and the team came on day one to pack up our 5-bed house and garage: quick tour to evaluate / check and 5 min later, keys handed over, off they went packing the house into boxes. By 3pm it was all done which was impressive. Day 2 was also as seamless and impressive: they loaded their vans, drive all the way to our new place late morning and by 4pm all was unloaded and that was on a hot day too ! Needless to say, all the goods we unpacked were all in very good order upon unpacking. Also, very impressed they came later on to pickup all the empty cardboard boxes to dispose / recycle so we didn't have to. Finally, and most importantly, the team was absolutely lovely and friendly during those 2 days . I cannot recommend them enough for your move ! Thanks again

We used Houghton Move in February this year. So accommodating, even rearranging other moves to fit us in, and the packing service was such good value for money and worth every penny! On the day the team worked tirelessly to get us out of our old property and in to our new one, we had a lot of stuff but nothing was too much trouble! Would recommend them to anyone!

We used Houghton Move Removals a couple of weeks ago to move house. From the outset they were personable and professional, undertaking a zoom call to provide a quote for the move. The team arrived early in the morning and were friendly, efficient and extremely diligent by ensuring that goods such as mattresses, sofas and TV’s were all protected during the move. The team ensured that we were out of our house before the time specified which was a relief. We would highly recommend using Houghton Move Removals as they made what is usually a very stressful time a lot less stressful. Thanks guys!

We used Houghton Move in March this year to move out, store our possessions and then move into our new home a few weeks later.

Professional, courteous, kind helpful team throughout the whole process and would most definitely recommend.

Thanks to Alec, Jasmine and the team, if we ever move again, we know who to call

So happy to have used Houghton Moves. Very professional company. I had a smooth move from house to storage. 4 months later Alec and his team moved me to my new home. A seamless and stress free move. They were all very efficient. Will definitely use Houghton again 100%.

A first class service from first call right through to moving day! Competitively priced and great service. Despite a few challenges on moving day Alec and his team were superb and took everything in their stride. A stressful couple of days for us, made much easier by guys who just dealt with everything from packing to moving everything and getting us set up in our new house. We couldn’t recommend Houghton moves enough and if we move again (hopefully not!) we would certainly use them again!

First time ie moved in 32 years. The guys at Houghton move were friendly and helpful. No hassle good price and easy to deal with. Would wholeheartedly recommend them very professional.

We have used Houghton Move twice in the past 18 months. On both occasions they have made our moves seamless and stress free. Houghton Move were super professional, so helpful and we can’t rate them highly enough.

We were recommended Houghton Move by friends that moved house earlier in the year & we would use again. We moved just before Christmas time, and with things being crazy due to current situation it went very smoothly. Polite and friendly guys and so efficient both loading and unloading ! First time I ever used a removal company and they made the day a lot easier . Thanks !
