Extremely unprofessional experience with agent Alan Shields.
We had a viewing booked for the 8th, but the agent, Alan Shields, moved it to the 13th because he was on holiday. We accepted this without any issue. On the 13th he informed us that he was travelling to Aberdeen and would contact us later that day to arrange a new viewing time.
He never contacted us — we waited the entire day. Later we found out that the flat was already marked as under offer. At no point did he inform us that the property status had changed, even though he knew we were waiting for the rescheduled viewing.
On the 14th, around lunchtime, I sent him a message asking for an update. He replied that he would call me “soon”, but he never called at all.
We later learned that an offer was made on the 14th. This means we never even had the chance to view the property because the agent failed to keep his commitments and completely failed to communicate. He doesn’t even know how much we would have offered — because he never gave us the opportunity to view the flat or express our interest properly.
I can’t believe how some adults behave like children—ignoring responsibilities, making excuses, and causing unnecessary problems. It’s frustrating to see such immaturity and lack of professionalism from someone who should know better.
We rearranged our schedules twice and were genuinely interested in the property, but we were never given the opportunity to make an offer. This behaviour is unacceptable and reflects extremely poorly on the agency.
I would not recommend them based on this experience.

They organised everything from start to finish. Organised the home report, dealt with all the viewings and even put me in touch with a lawyer. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant to deal with!

I was with a different estate agents and nothing was getting done wasn’t getting many viewers so a went with Alan at housespotters and as soon as it went on the market I had 4-5 viewers nearly every day in my flat Alan kept in touch daily telling me what was going on with my flat And sold it in 15 days can’t thank the team enough for this and would highly recommend anyone selling to get in touch with them great team

Had a brilliant experience with Craig. He was so knowledgeable and managed to get our home report organised quickly so our property went on the market in less than a week. It took Craig 3 days to sell my property. Craig was also very quick to respond and contactable.
