If I could leave a 0 star review I would.

I would never consider going back to this garage to purchase any other vehicle.

Unless you are an expert and can independently verify the condition of the car, stay away.

Huge crack on windscreen when sold
Flaking paintwork disguised as "Dirt"
Barely legal tyres
Faulty Windscreen wipers

Various faults with the car afterwards, which they don't mention the £105 diagnostic charge you may or may nor be charged until after your initial 6 months is up

I have owned my car for 6 months and have had nothing but issues

Nothing but agression/standoffishness when you bring up their failures - To reiterate - It is not the customers fault you have not got a loan vehicle - Do not try and make it out as though a loan vehicle was an unreasonable "Demand" as you put it to me.

Somebody needs to be sent on a customer service course or needs to find another job. Absolutely disgusted!

Recently bought a used car from Hutchings treforest, Great service from Dan Derrick, very helpful, professional and polite.

Outstanding service from Lee, at Hutchings Pontypridd, it's nice to deal with a car sales man that has a conscience. He listened to what I wanted in a car and introduced me to the Vauxhall Cascada, what a beautiful car she is.

We ordered a brand new Corsa E back in January 2022, we were originally quoted 6 - 8 weeks for delivery. We agreed a guaranteed trade in value for our part exchange vehicle and waited. Given the current "way of the world" delays were to be expected and accepted. Rachel our original sales person was extremely helpful and that is where the positivity ends. Rachel left the business and handed our case to Paul Evans (her manager).A person that can only be described as aggressive, extremely rude, threatening, ignorant and should never be in the service industry would send emails out of hours and never respond with a phone call. We were informed that after months of waiting for the car that it was finally delivered after 7 months of waiting "your car is here but its not the colour you ordered", so not really our car then??? We ultimately rejected the car due to the not being to our taste, this is when, what can only be described as bullying behaviour started, where they required their LOAN car returned to them, ultimately leaving my wife and daughter without a car. We requested if we could the LOAN car until we could source a replacement (obviously not from Hutchings). The response was "we will be withdrawing the insurance from midnight tonight and collecting the car tomorrow". Paul then tried reduce the equity offer on our part ex by over a £1000 and tried charging us for the LOAN car, that Rachel had offered, as they were keen to sell on our part ex vehicle. Paul then tried to pass all of the blame on to ex-colleague for the issues encountered with the order, Rachel was never the issue.
In summary, please please please do not hand over any money or vehicles to this outfit as they really cannot be trusted to deliver any sort of service, customer care, integrity or the correct colour car!

I have not given poor feedback to anyone before but this company caused me so much trouble. The Sales Manager said "this is the best used car I have ever seen". I bought it.
The friendly buying process stopped after the sale - Initially they did not reply when I emailed so I got an independent report which found a broken gearbox mounting, leaking front shock absorber, tyres just about legal and ineffective wipers. The A/C did not work and it turned out that the Dual Mass Flywheel was broken. I did not get a day of use in the months I owned it. They took it back and went 6 weeks without word. I eventually got my money back but lost over £400 on expenses. Never a word of explanation, contrition or apology. I wrote to the General Manager and the Group Managing Director - neither replied, which just about sums up this company. My advice would be to wait a while until you have experienced Hutchings customer service before leaving feedback.

I bought my car from Pebbley Beach in Swindon in February 2022. In April 2022 I took the car to Hutchings in Pontypridd as a leak was identified. Within days of having the car back the car had another leak. The car was then in the garage for 4 weeks which was a huge inconvenience for me. The total bills were £1056.74. The car was under warranty but due to Hutchings failing to follow the warranty process correctly, the warranty company would not cover the costs. Pebbley Beach have confirmed to me on email that the warranty company would have covered the work undertaken, but Hutchings claimed on the warranty AFTER doing the work. As a result I am £1056.74 out of pocket. Pebbley Beach are not offering any resolution. Hutchings did not take any responsibility. This has caused me extreme stress and financial difficulties.

I have just received an absolute 2nd rate experience with Hutchins where I have bought my last 2 cars. I need my car for work and it is only 4 and a half years old with 43000 miles on the clock. I have already had problems with a water pump going under warranty and shortly after the warranty expired the thermostat stuck and had to be replaced. The car broke down 3 weeks ago and I had it booked in for a diagnostic on the 2nd June which I accepted as a six week wait. I received a phone call today telling me my appointment was cancelled and they could not even offer me another appointment so to try elsewhere. My car will not start so if you do give your custom to Hutchins, just hope you never need anything from them after you buy it

Ironically, I have just been on their website where they boast about the awards they have won for customer service

WON'T BE PURCHASING FROM HERE AGAIN!

In the last 4 years my family have purchased 4 cars from this dealership. My most recent Tuscon has had no end of problems; faulty cruise control knob not picked up before selling to me, on board sat navigation screen breaking and needing replacing plus boot struts breaking so nothing to hold boot open.

Now one of the back doors will not open and Hyundai are adamant they will not look at it without a £95 fee just to tell me the door doesn't work before any repair is considered. Especially annoying after my car was booked in today to change a faulty part due to product recall and told they wouldn't even test the door handle. After all the loyalty and problems with this current car, a little bit of customer service would have helped.

Lost a customer. Shame as I like the Tuscon and was considering an upgrade in September. Will take my business elsewhere

I can highly recommend this Vauxhall dealership in Treforest, Pontypridd.
I’ve bought two cars from here and visited the dealership today to enquire about a third.
I can’t fault the staff in anyway. So polite and helpful.
I’ve had the privilege to deal with the same salesperson twice. Hopefully after today’s visit, will be the third time from the same person, Rachel.
I don’t normally write reviews, but I just thought I needed to say to the dealership THANK YOU.
The level of professionalism I’ve received from them and in particular Rachel has been outstanding.

I've just bought a new Hyundai i10 from this garage. I will definitely recommend the dealership to family and friends. Ashley was able to help us, and the levels of customer service and professionalism experienced were 2nd to none. Ashley was not pushy like other car salespeople and we were given time to make a decision, as a result of this approach, this definately helped us make a decision to purchase the car. We had a good price for the part exchange and was able to negotiate! From start to finish, a really easy, professional and smooth finish. Ashley was knowledgeable and friendly. The hand over was great, Ashley took time to take through how the car worked, connected my Bluetooth and set everything up for me which was so helpful. I also appreciated the courtesy phone call to check about the car. 5 star!!

Hutchings Hyundai fitted a rubbish clutch to get rid of the noise from the clutch thrust bearing they over tightened it this caused stress on the clutch cable so I had to get an entire new clutch and clutch cable . U are only good for warranty servicing nothing else your overheads are to high

Bought a car in part-ex from Hutchings Pontypridd - Steve Smith and Paul Sexton were on the sale to me. Efficient, effective and professional yet friendly customer service. Steve drove in for delivery and to collect the part-ex as I have had some problems on my right hand. Highly recommend, your tagline of 'your drive, our passion' truly shined through.

Just bought my 4th car from Hutchings and can’t fault them at all.
I always deal with the salesman Arron Donaghue and on each occasion he has been very professional courteous and knowledgeable about each car.

Customer service is appalling. Had my car booked in for a service and was offered by Hutchings to collect my car then drop it back to my house next day. Never arrived at my house to pick it up and then said they had no record of agreeing to pick it up from my house even though I spoke at length over the phone, to the same woman who asked the man whom I had spoke to on my last service. I have 2 hyundai cars I bought from new less than a year ago and wont be going back to this branch ever again. Practically made out I was lying.

I was told they needed my car at 9.30 but job not started untill the afternoon even though I told them I needed to pick my Grandson up from school. Had the car 6 hours to do a 90 minute job.
Hutchings do not know the meaning of customer service.

My car developed a fault within the warranty period. Hutchings were worse than useless, more interested in carrying out vehichle health checks and trying to rip me off with new tyres and brake pads rather than fix the intial fault under warranty. In the end I took to an independent garage to have it rectified.

Customer service poor, felt once they sold the car to us they didn’t care
