My battery came after 1 month from China and being a fake

We purchased a battery for our Portable Dyson Animal in 2020. Initially we were sent the wrong battery but this was soon replaced with the correct one. I wanted to wait to give a review to ensure the battery performed well. We are very pleased indeed with this replacement battery. After almost 2 years, the battery still holds its charge very well so it gets a 'thumbs up'. I have given 4 stars due to initially being sent the wrong battery.

I purchased x 3 makita 6ah batteries from your company back in December 2021, 

Two of these items where for Christmas gifts and one for myself,  

The battery that I have used 3 times has stopped charging, also whilst using the battery on a new makita item the connection was failing, 

From there I send the battery off to makita as they are under warranty but unfortunately makita sent the battery back

 ( not repaired ) with a letter for me to send company details from where purchased ( yourselves) and also stating the battery is not a genuine makita, 

Looking at the information you sent me when I asked ( are these genuine ) you replied Yes, 

So from here I am asking for you to either send me a full refund plus a returns label so I can send these copy batteries back or action will be taken with myself and makita direct,

I Ordered a Makita 18v battery on the 1st March. Finally arrived 29th March.
One email to acknowledge order but not a business email more personal.
Requested a receipt but not arrived.
Company claims to be UK but clearly not.
However I have used and recharged the battery and seems fine: Can’t decide if genuine or not.

Ordered 4 18650 batteries.
3 weeks later sent an email to say not arrived.
Hermes tracking number not recognised.
Contacted paypal and was given an on the spot refund
Bought 4 batteries elsewhere
26 days later goods arrived and seem genuine
Have to contact paypal again

Stay away .. they will never send the order. I ordered battery for my hp laptop and I contacted them to ask about how many days will take to get the item. They said it will take 25 days.
After 27 days I wrote to them to ask about the order and I asked them to provide the shipping company they are using or tracking nr. But I got no answer. And after that they wrote that they can refund me and did not give me any info about the shipment. I got my money back through PayPal case.

DONT WAIST YOUR TIME

Ordered a refurbished Makita 5.0ah LXT 18V battery from this site. It arrived in brand new Makita casing but not a serial number in sight.

The battery didn't hold charge very well from day one but I assumed this was because it was refurbished. 5 months on and the battery has died. Got one reply from 'Angela' asking a load of useless questions, to which I replied and Angela never replied.

So now I'm £50 out of pocket with a dead battery. My advice: don't order from these people. The whole site is just a scam. Probably repackaging generic batteries and marking them up. Either way, I'm frustrated by the whole thing.

This 'ibatteries.co.UK.com operation appears to be a dodgy scam. My order for two Nikon camera lithium batteries was never filled and after two months, nothing had arrived. After I fired off an inquiry, I received an email from a 'Lisa' stating that 'deliveries were delayed and rather than disappoint a customer, the money had been refunded'. PAYPAL indeed confirmed that the money had been refunded.

Soon after this I received another email message from 'Lisa' saying that the batteries were now delivered and they needed to recover 'damages', so would I please repay the money..."we need the business!".

The batteries were NOT delivered, but I complied (like a dummy) with the request and repaid the original sum (again through PAYPAL).

After this I heard no more and never received the batteries. What I did receive, just this week (some 4 months after the original 'purchase'), was a standard sized number 2.5 wooden pencil, black with a red end and with Chinese characters on it indicating this to be a 'Standard Chinese examination test pencil' and 'Please use' (my wife is Chinese). ???? There was no accompanying note, no nothing with it. Just a pencil in a padded envelope mailed from China! Quid pro quo? I think NOT!

Now I face the ordeal of notifying PAYPAL and asking for a refund, since this has clearly been a scam! At least I was smart enough to pay through PAYPAL, so hopefully they will decide in my favor and refund that 2nd payment!

I bought 2 makita batteries and 1 didn't work so I started a dispute with PayPal and I was told they would send a replacement and could I close the case so I did that was 3 months ago and still waiting absolute rubish customer service and a rip off

i ordered a battery which was a long time coming, so i asked for a refund, i got a refund, and thought no more of it, a few days later i got an email asking me to pay for the battery which had been delivered to my house, nothing ever arrived, they sent me a record of the tracking details, why on earth would a company send goods, haveing given me a refund. constant emails asking for money for something i never got the implication is that i am being dishonest, cant convince them that i never recieved the battery

I ordered 2 5ah Makita batteries in mid November from this company based on their being in the UK, they were slightly cheaper so I emailed them to confirm, fortunately for me they replied that they were genuine Makita and not to worry. When they hadn't arrived after two weeks I chased them up and was told they had been shipped the day after I ordered. This was when I found out they are based in China not the UK, but still they maintained they were genuine. After 4 weeks I raised a refund claim with Paypal, they said I had to wait until the end of December, in the meantime the company offered me a partial refund which I rejected. At the end of December they sent a shipping confirmation from a courier in London (with equally bad reviews) and the units arrived 3 days later. It was immediately obvious that they were counterfeit, so many differences between them and genuine makita; weight, lack of serial numbers, wrong font etc etc. I documented the differences, took pictures and sent it all to PayPal and claimed under their 'protect consumers from counterfeit goods' policy. Had a full refund from PayPal within 3 days. Avoid this company

This appears to be another chinese drop shipper and the product I ordered never arrived. they offered a refund that never arrived and eventually I got money back through despute resolution wiht paypal.
My advise dont use stay well clear!

I ordered a battery and charger for my Sony camera, the charger gets red hot and won’t charge battery above 94% and the battery whilst it has the Sony logo does not have the hologram on the label, it’s for my brand new Sony a6600 camera and I’m not sure if I should use either item

Chinese company masquerading as uk based.
Never received my battery and contacted them with
email.Sent to paypal resolution and to my horror
paypal sided with this ibatterys.
I lost my money and never received the expensive

I searched for a makita battery and ibaterys was a lot cheaper than other dealers. I ordered 2 weeks before Christmas and was worried that it hadn't arrived. I emailed Lisa and she replied very quickly explaining the reason for the delay . She told me to wait another week it was definitely on the way . It came the week after . I would recommend ibatterys and will definitely order from them again

They are a scam. I ordered a battery seeing that it was at a good price, slightly lower than market average, and figured out it was actually a Chinese-run entity, not in the UK.

I wanted to cancel the order, only to be met with a promise that the battery has been shipped, with no shipping proof and official documents whatsoever.

I have yet to receive my refund, after three months of chasing, and they have simply disappeared.

I am very pleased with this company. Received good and fast communication, quick delivery and the charger was definitely an original makers item. They sent the wrong model but then again they very quickly rectified this. Would use them again.

Waste of time and money

Very good value for branded products.
It’s not UK stock so there are delays what with Brexit/customs etc but if you’re not in a hurry (4 to 6 weeks)
I’d recommend them on value.
Communication was great and kept me updated.
