Indra Smart Pro Gen 2 EV charger
I have an Indra Smart Pro Gen 2 EV charger which integrates well with the Octopus Energy Intelligent Octopus Go tariff providing low cost car charging. The Indra charger integrates with Octopus using WiFi which for me is better than using a SIM card which can incur extra charges. Occasionally I have a question for Indra about functionality and they are very helpful.

La peor gestión posible deja a una casa sin luz
La lamentable gestión que Indra está haciendo de una mera incidencia técnica con e-distribución, ha dejado a mi casa, mi familia, sin luz. La gestión que han hecho y los pasos que han dados son tan surrealistas y rocambolescos, que una vez expuestos los hechos, el Síndic de Greuges ha admitido a trámite mi solicitud y un relevante medio de comunicación está estudiando el relato para darle forma. Nos tienen sin luz, Indra es responsable, imprudente al caso, indiferente a la situación de una familia que jamás ha impagado una factura.

Customer Support as it should be
Had an issue with reconnecting my charger to a replacement router. Called and spoke with Tish who calmly and extremely professionally talked through the reconnection process and confirmed that everything was working correctly before closing the call. Customer support as it should be.

Another problem - no response again
Not the first time I've had problems and not got the promised response.
My Indra Smart Pro lost power last Friday and I called Indra, was in a long queue, so requested a call back, which unsurprisingly never came.
I identified the problem as likely being with the cut out installed by the engineer when the charger was fitted, this isn't working and may therefore be a hazard.
I emailed Indra on the Saturday and the automatic response promised a call back within 24 hours on a working day (which should have meant yesterday) - again, nothing.
I have a charger that has no power, and potentially a dangerous supply, and nothing from Indra.
There seems to be no point calling them or emailing again as response is appalling.

Ok so I have had problems with the home…
Ok so I have had problems with the home charger connecting to the Internet been sent a wifi dongle for the installer to install.have rung twice before to chase it up, however as everyone does .....needing the car at the minute is paramount as my mum is on end of life....indra get your act together.

New EV Charger Up and Running 👍
Delighted with the customer service I received this morning from Jack Addis in helping to deploy my new EV charger. Patience and persistence in guiding me through the process of connecting the charger to my home router then remotely configuring on my behalf. Excellent service from Indra thanks guys!!!

My main mobile phone somehow lost connection...
My main mobile phone somehow lost connection with the mothership. After 16 attempts to re-connect, I finally called the helpline.
It took Tish all of 5 seconds to get me re-attached.
A great personal and friendly service.

I moved suppliers a week or so ago and…
I moved suppliers a week or so ago and could not get my car to charge even after following Octopus Energy’s instructions. After a few days back and forth with Octopus, I eventually called Indra and Alice sorted it out for me in no time, and all is good again. Indra support always pulls the rabbit out of the hat 😀

Car failing to charge overnight
We had a few problems with the car failing to charge overnight. Marcella was able to reference the logs and identify the problem (with the response from the car to the charge command) to and propose a couple of solutions.
The call back service worked well.

Excellent service
Like most companies these days, the time taken to speak to a call handler is excessive.
However, when i got through the service received to resolve my issue was first class. I spoke to Amanda who guided me patiently through everything i needed to do to get my charger back on line.

Awful service
Awful service - Charger stopped working after 3 months, took 3 weeks of numerous calls to finally receive a replacement and then a further wait for electrician. Have written a formal complaint regarding the relays we’ve experienced and the subsequent costs to us, but no acknowledgement after 2 weeks. The stress caused in the middle of the night to find the car not charging was completely unnecessary. I understand things go wrong, but the lack of urgency when we can’t use our car was really quite shocking. Really would avoid Indra!

Nightmare product
Had an Indra Smart Pro installed to replace my Ohme.
Works fine with my MG5 but not with my VW ID.7. 90% of the time it doesn’t charge or give me 30 mins charge in a 6 hour charging window.
I have emailed customer support over a dozen times in 5 weeks of ownership and had 3 replies which frankly not good enough (and none within the 24 hours they promise a reply). One is saying they have applied a patch to the software, 1 saying it must be the car (despite initially applying a patch) and 1 saying it’s under review. The car works with Zappi and my granny charger.
I was desperate to support a British local company but wish I never had done now. It’s a nightmare of now needing to pay for high price charges why waiting for a potential reply
UPDATE - after all those emails finally some resolution - the charger has been replaced for a refurbished unit and it works! Moved to 3 stars as now. Had one poor charge since replacement and emailed customer support 8 days ago and still no reply!
