Terrible service Like Scammer
Extremely disappointing experience.
I paid £95 upfront for an iPhone repair after being told the device could be fixed. After more than a week, the phone was still not repaired and no satisfactory solution was provided.
When I requested the return of my device, I was informed that it would be sent back to me unrepaired. To make matters worse, the company refused to refund the £95 payment despite failing to complete the service that I paid for.
I find it completely unacceptable that a customer can be charged in full for a repair that was never successfully carried out. The explanation given was simply that time had been spent attempting the repair. From a customer’s perspective, paying for a completed repair and receiving an unrepaired phone are two very different things.
I am now pursuing a chargeback through my bank and will be reporting this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities. I am also considering further legal action to recover my money.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this service.

We are sorry that the outcome of this repair was not what either party had hoped for.
Your iPhone was initially assessed during a home visit and was subsequently taken to our specialist workshop for advanced board-level diagnostics and repair. During this process, our technicians identified significant underlying circuit-board damage together with evidence of previous repair work. Despite extensive diagnostic and repair efforts over several days, we were unfortunately unable to restore the device to full working order.
We respectfully disagree with the suggestion that no work was carried out or that payment was taken without providing a service. The fee covered the home visit, diagnostics, technical labour, specialist assessment and repair attempts undertaken by our technicians. Unfortunately, in complex board-level cases, a successful outcome cannot always be achieved, particularly where substantial pre-existing damage exists.
Although we do not agree with all aspects of your review, we have remained in communication throughout, explained our findings, and are arranging the return of your device.
We understand your disappointment and regret that we could not achieve a successful repair on this occasion.

Avoid avoid avoid at all costs. Departed with £200 with false promise that phone will become like new once broken screen is replaced. Reported number of issues onsite before he leaves after screen replacement. He says give it a time and it will work! Found so many issues that phone is totally unusable with SIM not recognised. Speaker doesn’t work and the list goes on. When reported again he said work is under warranty and if we want fix the issues send the phone to their workshop at my costs! But I paid to fix the issues on site! Please guys don’t fall in the tricks of this guy and protect your money.

Your device had pre-existing damage prior to repair, and during the appointment we explained that severe impact damage can sometimes affect additional internal components beyond the screen itself. The service requested and completed was a screen replacement, which was successfully carried out on-site.
When you reported further issues afterwards, we did not refuse support. We advised that the device would need to be inspected at our workshop under the warranty process because certain faults — such as network recognition, audio, motherboard-related issues, or hidden damage — cannot always be fully diagnosed roadside during a mobile call-out repair.
As stated in our terms and warranty policy, workshop inspection or collection may be required for advanced diagnostics. This is standard practice within the repair industry and was not an attempt to avoid responsibility.
We categorically reject the suggestion of “false promises” or “tricks.” Thousands of customers across London use our same-day mobile repair service successfully, and we always aim to resolve genuine concerns professionally and fairly.
We remain willing to inspect the device further and assist where possible under the appropriate diagnostic process.

I made the mistake of taking my phone with a broken screen to the local shop, which ended up breaking the phone in a different way. IRepairMan came fast and were effective at fixing my phone and were kind enough to wait to make sure the same issues from the first repair didn’t happen again. Would highly recommend!

3 Months, No Repair, No Response – County Court Judgment Issued
If I could give this review less stars that just the one than I would.
I paid £400 to this company only after being assured in writing that my phone could be repaired and that my data would be safe.
After they took possession of my phone on 8 December, communication became extremely poor. I repeatedly had to chase for updates, often receiving no response for extended periods. Over a month later, I was informed that the phone could not be repaired. It then took a further two months for the device to be returned, meaning it was held for a total of three months until I received it back on 8 March.
Due to being self-employed and reliant on my phone for work, I had no choice but to replace it through my insurance after the company stopped responding altogether.
I was offered only a minimal refund for the delay in returning my phone as a goodwill gesture, despite the service not being delivered as promised.
As a result, I issued a claim and a County Court Judgment has now been entered against this company, which they failed to respond to.
This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and avoidable. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before using this service.

Update: The company has stated that this matter is “before the courts”. For clarity, this is incorrect. A County Court Judgment has already been entered against them following their failure to respond to the claim when it was before the court.

Poor quality repair and service
I paid £200 to have my iPhone screen repaired and the experience was extremely disappointing.
After the repair, the shop admitted in writing that the screen fitted was "low quality parts it is standard OLED great quality for the price." This explains the issues I noticed immediately when I got my phone back. The brightness and colour quality are extremely poor compared to the original screen. Even at the lowest brightness setting the screen cannot be used properly outside in daylight. The display looks dull and washed out compared to an original screen.
Within three days, a hairline crack appeared on the screen. This crack then continued to spread. Given how quickly this happened, it strongly suggests the screen installed was of very poor quality.
Trying to resolve the situation was frustrating. I had to message the shop several times over several days before getting a response. When they finally replied, the only solution offered was “£25 off another repair.”There was no refund, no compensation, and no acceptance of responsibility.
Instead, I was told “you should have educated yourself more before getting your phone repaired and shouldn’t expect Apple genuine parts.” For clarity, I did not expect genuine Apple parts for £200. What I did expect was a functional screen that could be used in daylight and wouldn’t crack within three days.
The shop also refused to take any responsibility for the crack, stating that any screen with a new crack would not be covered under warranty, regardless of how soon it appeared after installation.
Communication was also unprofessional. During the conversation I was told “We will remain regret that we served ungrateful people.”
After paying £200, I’m left with a poor-quality screen that cracked within days and a business that refuses to take accountability.
Would not use again.

The screen installed on your device was a standard compatible OLED replacement, supplied and fitted at the agreed price point. As is common across the independent repair industry, compatible parts can differ slightly from original manufacturer displays in areas such as brightness calibration and colour tone. It is clearly advertised on the website booking page.
Regarding the crack reported a few days after installation, our warranty — as outlined on our website and in our terms — does not cover physical damage such as cracks or impact. Once a screen has visible external damage, it cannot be treated as a manufacturing or installation fault. This is a standard policy followed across the repair industry.
Despite this, our team still attempted to assist and offered a discounted replacement as a goodwill gesture, even though the damage fell outside the warranty conditions.
We also regret if any part of the communication during the discussion came across in a way that felt unsatisfactory. Our intention is always to communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

Excellent service! Very professional. The technician arrived exactly when he promised, communicating by WhatsApp advising of precisely when and where he would arrive. His car was full of high quality screen replacement materials, and he did the job quickly on site. The price was far lower than I expected from his website, and an invoice was issued to me. I am careful who I pay money to, and checked out the company and VAT registration. All gave me confidence and the job is perfect. I have nothing but praise for this company. I don't know the cost on the high street, but the convenience was worth a lot to me. Thank you again.
