They responded quickly and set up an appointment on the same day. It might seem odd that the chap drives round and does the fix in his car but bear with him. He told me my phone was a special edition so took away to fix it with parts from the warehouse. I was a bit sceptical but he drove back the next day with a fixed phone. And it was the weekend.

I’m Japanese, and my English is not very good. I work hard every day, but money is really tight.

Then, suddenly, my phone stopped charging. For three weeks, it wouldn’t charge beyond 1%. I didn’t have enough money, so I tried about six different solutions using ChatGPT and my Mac, but nothing worked. Finally, today, I went to Apple to get it repaired. I waited for two hours, only to be told that it couldn’t be fixed and that I would have to buy a new one—£700. More expensive than my rent 😭

I thought there was no way to fix it that day, but when I called, Marty came to help me even at night. He understood my broken English and helped me pay only the inspection fee of £85 and the repair fee of £20—so almost £600 cheaper than buying a new one!

Seeing my phone charging again for the first time in three weeks almost brought me to tears.

Do not use this service. The repair came to my house to fix my phone, took my money but a day later the screen was still broken. I called to arrange for him to come back and fix it, and he refused to do so unless I paid an additional call out fee. Poor quality work and parts and holding customers to ransom. Refused to refund money.broken phone and down 125 quid.He became unpleasant. Avoid at all costs.

Great service! Iphone was very cracked on both sides. They came to our house the next day and fixed it and it’s as good as new!

Amazing Customer Service, Very quick and Great price. I would recommend for everyone. They repaired my phone at 10pm and came within 2 hours. Great for emergency’s.

Further developments: I took my iPhone to Apple who ran full diagnostics. The device fails on the low ambient light sensor because the screen fitted by iRepairMan is not compatible. Face recognition also fails. In other words this screen was never going to work properly – it is a scam.

The latest reply from iRepairMan to me was:

“Therefore, as a final gesture of goodwill, we are prepared to refund you £95 once the phone screen parts are returned in the same condition.”

So they want their screen back but I am left without one.

They also want to buy my silence. Their email continues:

“This offer is conditional on the removal of any negative reviews you have left against our company.”

This is how they run their business – fitting incompatible parts, refusing to fix the problem, offering a token refund only if you take down your reviews.

Avoid at all costs.

£330 down the drain! I had the charging point replaced by iRepairman. Was quoted one pro but when he received it said it was more expensive for the iPad Air. I had stated the model on original enquiry but as he had the iPad agreed the higher price. When returned the iPad started to freeze and then flash pink and switch off. I contacted my original contact at iRepairman and he said he would provide labels so that he could repair under warranty. Once he had the iPad he informed me it was a battery fault and he would replace it. Two weeks later ( a lot later than promised ) it was returned. I switched it on and it lasted two minutes. Exactly the same fault but now totally unusable as it switches off every 2-3 minutes. He said he would call me back the following day to arrange repair or refund. Surprise surprise, no call and no answer to my emails and phone switched to answering service. Calls not returned and then a text from another number stating that the office was closed and they were out if the city. Avoid this company at any cost!

Contacted the number given and it's a ChatBot. It took my name, email and address and said it would reach out to me! I want to speak to someone.

My son smashed his iPhone screen the night before we went away for 2 weeks. We booked the repair via WhatsApp late in the evening to get the phone repaired at Heathrow T5 the next morning before our flight. I was a bit sceptical about it all but it actually worked brilliantly, screen was replaced in about 20 mins. Happy son! Great service.

The guy repaired the iPhone in one go, even popping out for 1/2hr to get an extra cable he found was needed. Kept to original quoted price: cheaper than shop prices & nearly 1/3 of the Apple repair price. & Still with 1yr warranty.

Maratib is great. I needed a new charging port installed into a Xiaomi 11 lite and a screen replacement. At first I found it strange that he turns up in his car and works from his car. But he was very quick and did a great job. The phone was like new when he'd finished. I don't think he needed to actually replace the screen, which had some cracks. I think he just cleaned it with some special tools. So all in all, £120 was quite expensive but considering he drives over and does a great job quickly, I'm very happy.
