Highly recommended
I instructed Jackson Boyd in relation to a dispute with a roofer. I was very fortunate to have been allocated Gillian McCluskey. Right from the start she was excellent, she understood all the issues and explained what she was doing and why.
The case went into court and Gillian was always very efficient with dates. Gillian managed to secure an out of court settlement for me which I was happy with. I’d highly recommend the firm and Gillian.

Looking from the outside communication…
Looking from the outside communication was slow but that is dependant on the timescale you received the information from the 3rd party.
I get the impression that the workload is huge so maybe a resource issue. I had to do most of the enquiring to get a response.
Mostly I am most disappointed with the recommended settlement amount after almost 2 years being £8100.
If I hadn’t taken the avoidance action I did I honestly believe I would have been far more seriously injured or killed. It was a deliberate action on behalf of the other party not an accident. I truly believe I have suffered a serious injustice.
In saying all this your staff have been helpful in helping me the process.
I would like to know the total fees for the councillor and solicitors fees in comparison to my payout.

I am very grateful to Jackson Boyd for a wholly positive experience in their handling of my personal injury claim, providing a stellar service in all respects above and beyond securing what was an excellent settlement outcome.

Lucie's high professionalism and diligence was readily apparent in each contact of the consistently attentive communication throughout the timespan of progressing the claim: both in the promptness and comprehensiveness with which each case update and procedural stage was conveyed and explained, and similarly with the knowledgeability and expertise offered whilst advising on considerations re courses of action as well as addressing my various queries and clarifications.
