Help with eviction of non-paying tenant.
I have worked with Tony McTigue from Jackson Boyd since 2024 dealing with a very drawn out eviction of a tenant who had stopped paying rent. The tenant left in March 2026.
Tony has been professional throughout the process and supported me through a complex and drawn-out process which took a few twists and turns along the way.
He has been easy to contact and provided high quality, pragmatic and sensible advice. His dealings with the Tribunal have been proactive and high quality.
I would highly recommend both Tony and Jackson Boyd.

Great lawyer firm
I was in a no-fault car accident in February 2024 and although the other driver accepted he was at fault his insurers did not pay for the repairs on my car or my courtesy car. My insurers took them to court and they instructed Jackson Boyd Lawyers to represent them. I had to pay a £250 excess even though the accident was not my fault and I thought that was it - money gone. However Jackson Boyd Lawyers got in touch with me to tell me that they would apply to the court to get my excess back. Two years later I got it back and an extra £75 for the inconvenience. I am really delighted and can’t praise the lawyers highly enough especially Michael Callaghan. He kept me informed and he answered any questions I had regarding the court process because at one point I thought it might go to court. This has dragged on and on but the lawyers were diligent in explaining what was going on and kept me informed throughout. 5 stars for their tenacity and 5 stars for getting me my money back.
