I recommend and thank James Morrow Hi-Fi
I chose to go back and buy another turntable directly from James Morrow Hi-Fi after a great buying experience the first time I visited their Edinburgh shop in person.
Everyone was genuinely helpful and supported my requirements without any pretentiousness or assumptions.
I bought the Rega P3 which has been brilliant and I returned recently and bought a Rega P1 online during Lockdown.
This was my choice to support a local small business rather than buy from major online Retailers.
Once again James Morrow made it a very easy process and communicated throughout the process. Thanks again. Scott

Tops for everything sound and vision!
Exceptional customer service, excellent product knowledge and clear experts on all things sound and vision. I found the online ordering service and delivery very efficient. I first shopped at James Morrow in 2002 and the standards today are as excellent as they were then. And most importantly, my brother is absolutely delighted with his new turntable! Thanks to all at James Morrow.

I’ve used James Morrow for all my audio visual set up work over the years. They do a lot more than just sell hardware; they provide an all round service for setting up home WiFi, sound systems and TVs. Everyone who works there is an absolute professional, and their client service is excellent.

I was simply replacing a cd player and so I knew what I wanted. The online purchase was straightforward, easy and the item was delivered very quickly. I hadn't been aware of this company previously but look forward to shopping in person when the lockdown eases!

Fantastic
Fantastic, first class service. Called to check if the BOSE IV player was in stock for delivery for a birthday this week. I’d been let down by BOSE, despite them taking my money. Lesson learned, shop local, shop UK. Friendly and reassuring when I called - highly recommend. Peace of mind for a bigger purchase. The wave player was safely and beatifully packed too.

Great Service Through DifficultTimes
We moved house last year in a small window after the first lockdown. We needed a new flat screen TV and three other flat screens mounted on walls within our new place. We received excellent advice from Rupert at Morrows on supporting the TV's with Sonos sound bars. We bought everything we needed all at competitive prices knowing that they would meet our needs. The team from Morrow installed them all very precisely and professionally and we are very happy with the results. A great service from purchase to installation and back up advice. Best of all , they are local to us, easy to get hold of and very approachable. We will use them for all our TV and sound needs going forward.

Great local company
I reached out to the company with some enquiries about getting my first record player. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. They pointed me in the right direction. It took me a while but months later I reached out again this time during lockdown. Rupert was hugely helpful. He organised everything I asked for and made sure that it all arrived and that I was able to set up correctly. Really you couldn't ask for more from any company.

Absolutely exceptional customer…
Absolutely exceptional customer service. I had a concern with a Rega amp I'd just purchased and Rupert arranged for a second amp to be sent out for me to do a side-by-side comparison to try and allay my fears.
Incredible 5-star treatment!
Rupert even spent time in the evenings phoning me to give me customer support.

Amplifier was dispatched and delivered extremely fast with constant live updates keeping me aware of what was happening. Over the moon with the service, product and will definitely use James morrow again for future purchases!

Highly Recommend
James-Morrow installed the sound system in my new restaurant. I am based in Dunbar and was advised to use this company by a fellow restaurateur in Edinburgh.
They are a real down to earth no-nonsense company who really care about their clients business, budget and vision.
I was extremely impressed by their technical knowledge and appreciated their after installation support as I got my head around the new technology.
I will for sure be using them again for my next project.

Top quality goods and service from Edinburgh's finest.
Just taken delivery of the Boss Base One sub to complement the two Bose S1 Pros I also bought from James Morrow. Thanks Rupert for super pre-sales advice and speedily sourcing this new Bose unit which is sounding superb. Now, thanks to James Morrow, I have a tidy PA setup that should server all sorts of gigs.

A truly first class bunch.
Every visit to James Morrow is met with a warm welcome, on first name terms, no matter how long it has been. Ok, after this pandemic might be a struggle! I have always received first class service, products and most importantly, advice, on where to head next in the AV world. And the guys have helped me try to get my home WiFi sorted (might need a home visit when it’s allowed!) and this has helped no end during lockdowns.

I recently purchased a Sonos speaker and two stands from James Morrow. The knowledge of the staff is exceptional and they are able to advise on what product is best for your needs. The product was delivered the next day. Cannot recommend James Morrow highway enough.

Above and beyond for audio visual ...
Upgraded our hifi during first lockdown - advice from staff was excellent and they went above and beyond to find us the very best equipment available in our budget. The service was exceptional and I promised myself I would never go elsewhere for AV equipment.
True to our word, in second lockdown we upgraded our TV with James Morrow and it was the same considerate, stress-free experience. They are fantastic.
