App and customer service experience have been great

I have paid subscription for months, and as part of their offer you could accumulate your unused KWh, which they promised to roll over for the next month. After their scam pricing increase, they have wiped all the accumulated KWh. Fraudsters, avoid.

This rating is particularly for 2 reasons. First one is that you said that “customers “ asked for this change in your product and to eliminate refills. This change will bring an increase to what we pay considering that I was specifically using Bonnet for that 200kwh refill and I used around 1000kwh monthly. Now with the new boost change I would not use a single KWH!! And secondly most of the Shell 150kwh are showing as unavailable on your app and there is nothing wrong with the charger.

Very quick and detailed response to a Complaint. Feels like Bonnet knows there is a long way to go in improving the infrastructure but is in its users sides in getting there.

New pricing structure to take effect in Nov 2022 is a major negative step.

The 5 Stars are for previous use of the company, which was very good. Good customer service, good pricing and ok spread of charger networks.

Sadly, the new pricing structure that is coming in to force anytime now will severely reduce the usefulness for a lot of users. If you are not using 30kw of charge per month you will struggle to break even on the monthly charge for the "Light Boost"option and around 80kw to breakeven on the "Turbo Boost".

It's sad to see this happen, but not surprising considering the likes of Osprey boosting to a flat rate of £1/kw

Been using bonnet now for ev charging when away from home charger. Has been reliable as an app for charging and much cheaper than using the network providers pricing in most cases. New pricing structure in place from next month so will have to see how that goes.

Excellent response time which makes a nice change. Kevin gave me a detailed choice description of the reasons for my (self inflicted) problem and outlined choices to sort it out. Very helpful.

In the world of EV motoring charging Apps can be numerous. But with Bonnet you can cut down on that number while securing real discounts on your pence per KWh rate. The cancel anytime monthly subscription model allows you to purchase bundles of power (I’ve got the 20kWh per month package) and then use the App to charge at a large number of vendors at your subscription price. With the rewards scheme for taking surveys, submitting charge station reviews and referrals bonus that equates to even further discounts. Unused KWh on your account roll over to successive months. And should you need to contact customer service - they are readily available, patient, informed and helpful.

Despite having my own home charger this works as a way of getting the occasional top up at a rate better than my home tariff and banking kWh for that road trip and the necessary en route charging.

With the worry of increasing electricity prices it also acts as a means of bulk purchasing now for use later.

Easy sign up for the app. Quick and responsive from the customer service team on the chat. Informative and useful. And willingness to expand at the request of customers.
