Excellent provider that needs a few improvements.
First of all, bonnet is one of the cheapest options of charging your car on the road to your destination, and offers also a lot of networks, ionity, fastned and allego are the biggest ones.
It also offers to charge AC, but you then pay the same price as fast charging, so it's not that worth it.
Secondly, its support team is active and fast to help of there is a issue anywhere.
What i absolutely love is that you can collect kwh with the monthly refills, which you can use forever unless you stop the subscription.

A few improvements to make would be to finally include a QR scanner, it's still missing after all this time and it's such a simple feature.
A physical card may also be a good thing to have. Lastly perhaps bonnet needs to consider having a seperate AC charging fee, so it's going to be worth using bonnet for slow charging as well.

Tolle App, faire Preise und immer mehr Partner bei Ladepunkten. Lade aktuell während unseres Urlaubs in Friesland, und auch auf der Anfahrt, ausschließlich mit Bonnet und hatte bisher keinerlei Probleme. Alle Säulen (bis auf eine mit vertauschten Nummern) wurden direkt erkannt und haben das Laden gestartet.
Der Service ist auch super hilfreich und vor allem schnell. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle an Cherry, die mein Problem innerhalb von drei Minuten gelöst hatte 👍🏽

I had already downloaded the App, a month ago. Received an email today to offer free charging ( I think for 1st time users), which expires 20/09/22.

I clarified this message with them & it is true.

Kevin came back quick time to my question. It ties in perfectly, as I have an engagement this week end & will need to charge up.

A very quick reply to my questions using the chat app with a real person. Bonnet do appear to be really trying to make charging for EV drivers a better experience.

Cherry from Bonnet was a star today - I had a few problems with charging cutting out on a free charge and she made sure I was refunded when I had to finish my charging with second charge at the same charging point. Really helpful team after a few technical problems with 3rd party suppliers.

This is by far the best and easiest EV charging app I have come across. Plenty of chargers, better rates than most other services and an absolutely brilliant customer service team! I absolutely recommend this app to EV newcomers and pros alike!

So far I've used bonnet without much issues. The only trouble I once had was with source london, there were two chargers nearby so not sure if I was connecting to the wrong charger (no markings or any way to differentiate between the two) and failed to charge. But every other time, especially on journeys, it has been working with no issues. Customer service is very very good

Had a question about the charge on my credit card - Kevin dealt with it very quickly, always been quick to reply and and the reply very simple to understand.

While checking on the app, it’s showing faults been reported. We arrived with no problem charging and walked into Costa for a morning coffee, out and ready to continue our journey. Wasn’t sure about free charging using my credits and customer service officer Kevin checked and offered reassurance that it was a free charging.

Fantastic. I find having to have tons of different apps very irritating. Bonnet not only helps with that, but is also much cheaper. Even the plain pay and go tariff is less for the chargers in my area by £0.16 per kwh! Thanks to Kevin for the awesome customer support when answering my questions, too!

Very frustrating to see bad reviews from people who clearly do not understand the concept behind Bonnet.

This company is a game changer and will be a future giant in the EV charging business.

Bonnet serves two purposes. It brings the fragmented charging network under one app.

It also allows you to access preferential charging rates. The latter is the main reason I joined and the app has practically halved my charging costs overnight.

A growing number of EV car adopters are reliant on the public network due to not having access to a home charger. Unfortunately a number of operators see this as a license to charge obscene rates per KW.

The app has partnered with a good number of operators and I am assured by the friendly and attentive staff that this number will grow.

But as mentioned the main benefit is to be able to access cheaper charging rates.

Bonnet has yet to truly come into its own and is currently a bit of a sleeping giant. The early EV adopter demographic tended to be wealthy people with access to off street parking. As we approach 2030 and the eventual demise of the internal combustion engine we will see ever more people buying electric vehicles, many of whom will be totally reliant on the public network. For these people Bonnet is a no brainer

unfortunately the Pricess are changed per 1-8-2022 therefore they are to expensive for the Netherlands.

Not that fair and transparent at they claim.

Bonnet offered codes for free charging after registration. I even check with support if there is any validity date - the response was that there wasn't any. Sadly after 2 weeks the coupons were gone - neither I nor my 2 friends whom I recommended getting Bonnet didn't saw any notification about expiring promotion.

Support wasn't particularily helpful - the response was that they are rebuilding the "Promotions" feature inside app, and they needed to deactivate previous codes.

Can't really blame them - improvements are necessary. But overall the experience could have been way better.
