Actually they are hidden theif SCAMMER because as long as they got £139.95 after that they imposed their own termin condition when I asked its not mention In your term in condition then they said its our company policy even after one day they took my £100 administration charge and lied we already send device.
In this company everyone is manager I know one the guy he introduced himself Joseph as a manger but when I called next time another girl said to me that she is the manger although both of them was not a manager .
In short they when requested to cancel my policy they took my £139.95 and said non refundable even cooling period before 14.
Please don't trust them they are so sweet knife.
Save yourself like scam company.

In the meantime, I would like to reassure you our customers are important to us and we do our upmost best to ensure the correct information is provided at all times.

When you take out a policy, we'll charge you a £100 set-up fee. This is to set up your policy and arrange your JURNYmeter. After 6 months you'll have this transferred back to your pre-paid account as long as your policy remains in place. if your policy is cancelled prior to the 6 month anniversary, the set up fee is not refundable.

Your insurance is expensive .

Your insurance is expensive , I regretted taking it, someone introduced me to jury she pays 20p/ mile, while you are charging me 36.2p/mile.you end up paying more.

When running a quote with us, you would have been asked how many annual miles you do - allowing us to provide you with an annual estimate for your insurance. You selected 4,000 miles. If you don't exceed the miles you have stated - the insurance will cost you what we advised at the beginning of your policy.

You have mentioned that you are having to pay 36.2p per mile and after checking your Policy, we would like to confirm that your price per mile is 32.6p.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that you will automatically receive reimbursement of the £100 set up fee on the 6-month anniversary of your policy inception date.

Pay per mile insurance

Sorting out the insurance with customer service was good. Still not sure about pay per mile insurance using a black box attached to my car, I find it intrusive. But will try it for a year.

Rubbish underwriter

Rubbish underwriter. Used to be with Jurny. It was good while I was with them. My policy expired on September 2023. I selected for it to auto-renew. It didn't. I wasn't notified until I checked online on Askmid website to find out I no longer have insurance! Called them up, a guy called Joseph told me underwriter is changing their system and it'll be ready on January 2024. So I'll have to use alternative insurance until then. It's now almost the end of Jan 2024, I tried signing up and I got refused. Spoke to customer service, they said they no longer offer me an insurance due to a change in underwriter's criteria, not their website. So annoying despite being with them a full year and paid everything.

I even tried to get others to sign up, one has 9 years NCB and no issues. Car is not high risk either. Still, same issues. That's rubbish.

I shouldn't have had to lose the opportunity to renew my insurance with Jurny. Now I am stuck with a pay monthly insurance, paying extortinate prices for miles I don't even use. I don't drive lots of miles.

Jurny should switch to a different underwrite if they want to stay in business and the same applies to ByMiles as well.

As you are aware, we work with our underwriters to try and offer the widest range of cover and pricing to people in different situations. Acceptance criteria can change at any time, depending on what is suitable for the product.

Once I had managed to get my details through my email it's very easy to keep an eye on what you are using and paying for. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It's good that you don't have to find the full amount in one go and hoping to save money

How the payment works:
You pay a small monthly fee, to cover your car whilst parked. This comes out every month.
Then you have your price per mile. This part is up to you. Each mile will cost you your quoted rate, which then comes out of your pre-paid account.
This account can be accessed through your personal dashboard. You can alter the settings of this account at any point during your policy.
It can be topped up automatically when it falls below a certain amount (which you select) or you can manually top it up to have even more control.
