Wonderful company and Great Support!

I was booked on K9 Jets and was unable to go. I let Adam Golder (founder and Client Director) know immediately. He let me know that there were multiple people who were interested in that flight. He and his team got right on it and let me know shortly thereafter that they had sold my seat. If I get the chance again to fly with K9 Jets, I’d love to go. I had a remarkable experience flying to London with my two 50 lb dogs via K9 Jets. From the moment you book your ticket to the day you land in your destination, K9 Jets makes it an easy and clear and, eventually, luxurious, experience. They help you coordinate everything in terms of paperwork and ground transportation on both ends, and your time in the air comes with fantastic courteous service and the most comfortable ride imaginable. A truly great experience, top to bottom. We will only use K9 Jets going forward to travel with our dogs. Worth every cent.

K9Chaos

Worst travel experience ever. In case you don't realize this, K9Jets don't own or operate any aircraft - their misleading brand name foreshadows their lack of transparency. K9Chaos were still scrambling to nail down a plane just days before our scheduled departure... and again midway through the journey. Poor and erroneous communications plagued the "process" - unreturned calls and no-shows for scheduled teleconferences were downright frightening. We had put a lot of trust in them, along with our cash, and were losing confidence daily. Operations are their Achilles heel. Staff have limited knowledge of actual airport and travel logistics (e.g., proposing a new impossible departure time, not knowing that a flight can't land in Lisbon at 3 am and that the vet won't be there). 60 long hours door-to-door from Cali to Portugal with 2 nights of delays in NJ and no clear or reliable plan to cling to. Just limbo. All trust was lost midway through this disaster. These delays upended pet medication, sleep, food and potty schedules, as well as ground transportation plans (more $). The chaos translated to heavy stress on all animals, including the humans who simply do this for the love of their animal companions, not for some so-called luxury experience (banana bread and turkey wraps?!). Staff focus is marketing, deflection and damage control. I actually overheard a staff member telling a colleague that he would handle shelling out the bad news because we weren't a "tough crowd" and that this "stuff" (i.e., the BS) just "spews out" of him. I have tossed their swag - it was giving me PTSD. In sum, K9Jets’ priorities are way out of order. Branding takes precedence over reliability. Smile clips are a thin veil for chaos and incompetence. What we needed was clear, accurate, and timely communication, and earnest concern for the welfare of our beloved animal companions. What we got was uncertainty, confusion and distress during our relocation abroad.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are genuinely sorry that your journey did not meet your expectations, particularly given the significance of your relocation with your beloved pets.

We also recognise that your journey was understandably made more stressful by the unfortunate incident at Van Nuys, where your cat escaped after you removed from its carrier outside the terminal prior to boarding. Despite extensive efforts by airport personnel and those present, the cat could not be located. We appreciate how distressing this must have been. However, this unfortunate event was entirely separate from the subsequent operational disruption and should not be conflated with the services provided by K9 JETS.

During your journey from LA to NJ, the originally assigned aircraft experienced an unforeseen technical issue. In accordance with aviation safety regulations, the operating carrier could not continue the flight until it was safe to do so. A replacement aircraft was sourced; however, that aircraft subsequently experienced a further unforeseen mechanical issue. While extremely rare, safety-related events such as these can unfortunately occur in both commercial and private aviation. Safety has always been, and will always remain, our highest priority.

Throughout the disruption, we remained committed to supporting all passengers and their pets. We provided complimentary hotel accommodation, concierge assistance, offered reimbursement for food and pet expenses, and arranged complimentary ground transportation on arrival in Portugal. We also provided regular operational updates and worked continuously with the carrier to secure replacement aircraft and complete the journey safely.

With regard to your comments about the EU Animal Health Certificate, the advice provided by K9 JETS was correct. For non-commercial movements of pets from the United States to the European Union, the Animal Health Certificate must be completed by a USDA-accredited veterinarian and endorsed by the USDA. It is valid from the USDA endorsed date. Your documentation was accepted by the Portuguese authorities and your pets entered the European Union without issue, confirming it met the applicable requirements.

For the avoidance of doubt, your documentation was endorsed by the USDA on 22 May and was valid until 1 June 2026. Your veterinarian signed the certificate on 20 May, so even under your interpretation, the documentation would still have been valid for your arrival on 30 May.

We acknowledge your comments regarding communication before departure. During periods of operational disruption, response times can occasionally be affected. Since your journey, we have invested further in our customer service and operations teams to improve communication during irregular operations.

While we appreciate that our onboard catering did not meet your expectations, our primary objective has always been to provide a safe, legal and comfortable way for families to travel with their pets in the cabin.

Since launching in 2023, K9 JETS has safely transported more than 9,000 passengers and pets. Operational disruptions remain rare and, when they do occur, our focus is always on resolving them safely rather than compromising aviation safety.

Finally, while we respect every customer's right to share their genuine experience and opinions, a number of the factual statements in your review are demonstrably incorrect and misrepresent both the events that occurred and the contractual terms under which you travelled. We respectfully request that these inaccuracies be corrected. Publishing false factual statements that damage the reputation of a business may constitute defamation under applicable law, and we reserve all of our legal rights in relation to any materially false allegations.

We regret that your experience fell short of the standard we strive to deliver and wish you, your family and your pets every happiness in your new home in Portugal.

Terrible experience with K9Jets: one week delay and awful customer service

I thought by choosing to fly with K9 Jets that the stress of relocating to another country with a pet would be minimised... instead it became way more stressful.

The flight was LA to London, due to take off on May 27th. On May 25th I received an email to say that the flight was delayed to May 29th because of a problem with the aircraft. Then on May 29th, six hours before the flight, I received an email to say that the flight was delayed again. Eventually the flight took place on June 3rd, one whole week later than planned. The repercussions of this failure by K9 Jets included: having to get the vet certificate issued again, having the tapeworm treatment done again, finding a place to stay in California on short notice and with a dog, paying for an unused Airbnb in the UK, paying for storage for boxes being shipped over as well as a multitude of other logistical things.

The company's response? "I would also note that we were under no obligation to source an alternative aircraft. We could have cancelled the flight, issued refunds, and left passengers to make their own arrangements." Not exactly caring customer support.

As for the plane itself, it was nothing like the planes presented in K9 Jets marketing. It was much smaller, the seats were very close together and there was much less space for the dogs. My dog is 50lb. He was uncomfortable and distressed throughout the flight. The seat did not give him enough space and so the only place for him to lie down was in the aisle, which meant he was regularly stepped over by flight attendant and crew going to the bathroom at the back of the plane.
The seats were covered with dust covers that we were not allowed to remove.
The flight attendant didn't seem to like either people or dogs. Call buttons were repeatedly ignored. Service was worse than an average business class flight.

Currently there are not many options to fly with pets but as more companies come into the market, I truly hope that experiences and service like this become obsolete because they are unacceptable for both pets and pet owners.

UPDATE
Looking at K9 Jets response... firstly, they address it to Pauline. I have no idea who Pauline is but good to know that's their level of customer service and they have to have these things as copy and paste.
Secondly, in their first response they pointed out that my dog had an accident because of the level of stress he was under and that they would waive the clean-up charge. They then emailed me charging me for clean up. (The charge... $1214!!) When i pointed out they had said they would waive it, they then amended their review to remove any mention of paying for it.
Seriously, this is not a good company,

Firstly, please accept our apologies for inadvertently addressing you by the incorrect name in our original response. This has now been corrected.

We also wish to clarify your comments regarding the cleaning charge. During the flight, your dog became unwell and caused significant soiling and damage to the aircraft cabin. This was, of course, no fault of K9 JETS and resulted in a substantial cleaning and restoration invoice from the aircraft operator.

As previously explained, the delay to your journey was caused by a series of unforeseen aircraft technical issues affecting multiple aircraft. While this was an extremely unfortunate situation, aviation safety must always take precedence over schedule. Throughout the delay we provided hotel accommodation expenses of $250 per day, offered transportation, and worked continuously to secure a replacement aircraft so that passengers and their pets could travel safely rather than cancelling the service altogether.

Regarding the aircraft itself, K9 JETS is a public charter operator and the aircraft used on any particular flight depends on operational availability and the licensed carrier operating the service. The replacement aircraft provided equivalent safety certification and complied with all applicable aviation regulations. While cabin layouts differ between aircraft types, our priority remained getting every passenger and pet safely to their destination following an unprecedented operational disruption.

We genuinely regret that your experience did not meet the standard we strive to provide. Since this event, we have reviewed our contingency procedures with our operating partners to improve resilience and communication should similar circumstances ever arise again.

We wish you and your dog every happiness in your new home.

Exceptional Service from Booking to Landing!!

Exceptional Service from Start to Finish

We recently traveled with K9 JETS from the USA to London and then onward to Dubai with our Labrador, Bruno, and the experience exceeded our expectations.

From our very first inquiry, the team was incredibly responsive and helpful. A special thank you to Adam and Emma, who were always available to answer our many questions and guide us through the process. Traveling internationally with a pet can be stressful, but their communication and support gave us confidence every step of the way.

Our original journey was scheduled for April, but due to regional conflict and resulting travel disruptions, our plans had to change. Throughout the uncertainty, the K9 JETS team kept us informed and worked with us to find the best path forward.

The onboard experience was fantastic. The crew on both flights were kind, attentive, and especially wonderful with Bruno when he was a little anxious at the start of the journey. Their patience and genuine care meant the world to us.

Being able to travel alongside our dog instead of having him fly separately was priceless. Thank you to everyone at K9 JETS for making a potentially stressful relocation feel smooth, comfortable, and memorable.

With no persuasion I would like to give a review on my experience with K9 jets. It was excellent service and I would definitely recommend anyone traveling with pets who stress easily to travel K9 jets. Service is 5 star and everyone is treated like a VIP, including your pets. The flight was very comfortable and all clearances are done on board so that your pets have less time waiting and can quickly be on their way. I had the most relaxed time and although it was my first time won’t hesitate to travel again as the experience was a pleasant one. Sherlock says Thank you.

Highly recommend!

We recently flew from London to New Jersey with our corgi since we didn’t want to put her in cargo- we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We were attended to from the moment we walked through the door, the boarding process was easy, both the dogs and humans were well taken care of during the flight (we had an excellent flight attendant!), and customs when we landed was a breeze.
My only concern was customer service wasn’t the quickest as I had to follow up a few times to ask for an invoice I needed but other than that, our overall experience was wonderful and worth every penny. If we ever relocate again with a dog we would definitely use K9 jets again!

The most incredible, amazing experience flying K9 Jets. My biggest worry relocating to the States was how I’d get my old hound there safe and sound and K9 jets most certainly came to the rescue. First class service and experience all round from people, plane to pets on board! Couldn’t recommend enough. Smooth booking, clear briefing and paperwork directions and an easy process throughout. K9 Jets Saved the Day

My 9-year-old Labrador and I had two excellent flights from Van Nuys to Teterboro and then on to Frankfurt. I was a little nervous waiting to see if our flights would reach 75% capacity to fly, but they did. After our USDA certificate did not arrive on time, K9 Jets went the extra mile, helping us to navigate the situation and save the trip. The day-of service from the ground crew and the in-flight crew was top notch. Highly recommend.

This is my second time flying with K9…

This is my second time flying with K9 Jets. From top to bottom, the staff and service is impeccable. The agent who greeted us in New Jersey was attentive and kind, and helped everyone through the process gracefully. She even took our carry-ons aboard for us early, so we could climb the steps onto the jet with just our pup! On board, I can not speak more kindly of our flight attendant and pilots. Our flight had over six animals on it and each was treated like royalty. Most importantly, the flight was smooth and both my husband and I could actually relax, knowing we'd be on time and that our dog was safe and calm. I truly love this service and could not recommend it with higher regard. Yes, of course, the luxury perks of delicious food/snacks on board as well as beverages of your choice is so special, but nothing tops the commitment to quality customer service and consumer interaction that everyone who is part of the K9Jets team exemplifies!

Based on my personal experience

Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise people not to book with K9 Jets or give them your money.

My flight was cancelled on the 3rd April due to the war, a review was scheduled for the 10th, then again on the 24th - which is unnecessary due to the current circumstance other flights are taking place, but I discovered they fly under European aviation insurance - cool… they offered a refund or to keep my money in escrow until there’s an available flight  I asked for a full refund due to finding alternative travel. I received a prompt response, then after that nothing! No response, no replies, no updates. NOTHING  

I’ve been having to chase this refund from them for over a week and the entire process has been so stressful and completely unacceptable. Communication has been below poor throughout! No updates have been given and I have constantly had to chase them myself just to get basic and practically no information because they say they’ve put a call back request which I never get!!!

After calling and emailing multiple times , I was eventually told there had been internal confusion with the escrow team. However, instead of simply contacting me directly to clarify this nothing was done and I was just left waiting even longer with no explanation. That delay was entirely and completely avoidable. Then again after this explanation, nothing has come of it and I’m still left chasing for an update on what’s happening?

I was then told that the matter had been forwarded to the escrow team and that I would receive an email confirming the refund had been processed... That email never arrived. Despite repeated contact, I have still been left without proper confirmation, still no refund and without any real sense of urgency from this company.

This has had a serious impact because this refund was needed in order to secure an alternative flight. Their delays and lack of action have caused unnecessary stress and disruption at an already very difficult time.

In my opinion the level of service, communication, transparency and care I have received has been extremely poor and no one seems to have a clue what’s they’re doing in the company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend K9 Jets to anyone and I would strongly suggest to think very carefully before booking with them knowing you money is not safe nor is the quality of customer care you’ll receive. Their social media looks great, but what glitters isn’t gold. The company is ran by a bunch of morons.

Dear Brittni,

Thank you for your review.

As I explained in my email to you this morning, I personally spoke with you on Friday and resolved the matter immediately. The delay was caused by a minor administrative issue with our escrow management company, Avitrust Partners (US), where the funds were recorded under your mother’s name rather than yours. Your funds were safe and secure at all times.

For clarity, we received your refund form on Sunday and submitted it to escrow the same day for processing on Monday. Following your call on Friday, the name discrepancy was identified and immediately escalated. Avitrust Partners corrected this and issued your payment on Friday (US time), shortly after midnight BST. Your payment confirmation has since been provided.

As stated on the refund form:
“You have requested a refund from K9 JETS LTD. Avitrust Partners LLC, as escrow agent on behalf of Huntington Bank, will handle the processing of your refund. Refunds are processed via wire transfer, and most are processed same day after receipt of verified banking details, however it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to settle in your account.”

All client payments are held in escrow for your protection, and there are strict verification procedures we must follow before funds are released. While this can occasionally result in short delays, it is specifically in place to safeguard your money.

I also responded to you again today, despite the office being closed, to ensure you had an update.

We do understand your frustration during what was clearly a time sensitive situation. However, several of the claims made in your review do not accurately reflect the facts or the actions taken to resolve this.

As you can see from our track record and the thousands of passengers we have flown, this situation is not representative of our usual service.

We would respectfully ask that you reconsider and amend your review to reflect the full and accurate outcome.

K9Jets was a fantastic option and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience!

As I'm sure many people reading this already understand, the prospect of moving pets internationally can be daunting, verging on terrifying! When you start investigating what it takes to successfully bring your canine or feline family member to a new country, you wonder how you will get everything together in time, let alone how you will be able to minimize the stress and maximize the safety for your pet. Just finding out about K9Jets is a beacon of hope -- maybe there is a way to do this after all!

Of course reading about a service on a website is very different from first-hand experience, and these days it's hard to know what you can trust online -- is this too good to be true? I'm here to tell you that K9Jets lived up to everything they promised and more.

From the first interactions in email, through the timely updates, pre-flight briefings and paperwork checks, to the check-in at Teterboro and flight across the Atlantic, to landing in Dublin with the arrival team shepherding us through Irish immigration and Agriculture, everything went as planned. We were initially so nervous about flying our two beloved cats Ned and Frances from NJ to Dublin, and all of that melted away as each milestone in the process passed. And for the human passenger, the experience of flying private is just as fun and exciting as you would imagine -- something to remember long after it's over.

Now, just a few days after our experience, we are all together in our new home, and our cats have adjusted marvelously. We attribute much of that to the low-stress experience that K9Jets delivered. Thanks Adam and team for creating this service and helping us achieve what felt impossible just 5 months ago!

In addition to K9Jets, I also highly recommend using Pawsitive Pet Health Certificates (PPHC), who partner with K9Jets and your veterinarian to manage the required paperwork and health checks. Yes, it is possible to DIY, but it is critical that everything is completed and timed perfectly, and having this team behind you ensures that there will be no surprises on the day of your flight.

So, as you investigate your options and make your plans, just know that K9Jets is definitely for real, and you can count on them to get you and your pet safely and yes, even enjoyably, wherever you need to go.

Smooth, Comfortable Pet Charter from London to New Jersey

I recently flew my pet from London to New Jersey and was very impressed. The staff was professional and genuinely helpful from check-in onward. The pilots were kind and down-to-earth while also inspiring confidence. At the terminal everything was clearly explained, and I never felt uncertain about the process or next steps.

Food and drinks were fantastic, and the flight attendant was very helpful and kind to all of the dogs on board. Having a little extra space (about 8 of the 10 seats were occupied) was really nice—especially since my dog and my neighbor’s dog are larger breeds. Overall, things were comfortable for both me and my dog.

The organization to book the fly and coordinate with all the papers was again fantastic, very efficient and helpfull in paricular with the vet

When immigrating to another country

When immigrating to another country, it is very important to have reliability along the way. Although K9 Jets had to reschedule us for 12 hours later, the reliability factor continued to help us realize our dreams of living in Sardinia. Staff were professional, friendly, accommodating, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was superb, the service impeccable!

We thank you very much for a very happy memory during a flight of a lifetime!!

Booked 2 seats and 1 dog a couple of…

Booked 2 seats and 1 dog a couple of weeks before the flight. Customer service was non-existent. Flight was exceedingly uncomfortably due to no climate control. Everyone was sweating, dogs panting. one of the pilots was called back to try to fix it, but he could not do anything.
Absolutely, I'd rather fly commercial with no dogs than this service with a dog.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am very sorry to read that this was your experience.

I must admit I am surprised by your comments, as we have not received any prior communication from you raising these concerns following the flight, over a week ago. We did see your Facebook message this morning, however that was the only recent correspondence we had from you.

Regarding the cabin temperature, we were not made aware of any air conditioning issue on this flight by the crew or other passengers at the time. That said, your feedback is taken seriously and we are now following this up directly with the operator to fully understand what may have occurred. I am very sorry if you and your dog were uncomfortable, as this is certainly not the experience we aim to provide.

In terms of customer service, I can see that you contacted us twice by phone and we responded as quickly as possible. As outlined in your reservation confirmation, bookings can take up to 7 days to process due to the required security checks and coordination with our operators.

We genuinely care about our passengers’ experiences and it is disappointing to hear that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to better understand your experience in full.

Amazing flight for Bagel

We relocated to the US and didn’t want to have our dog Bagel going cargo.
The full experience was great, we waited a bit in Paris due to issue with the gas truck but the personal kept us updated apologizing and finding solutions.
The flight itself was great the dogs were chilling we cleared customs in Ireland which was easy and fast.
The service on board was amazing and the dogs got along.
I highly recommend

I can travel with my dogs in the cabin…

I can travel with my dogs in the cabin - on my seat. That in and of itself is brilliant. Customer care from the departure to landing is 5-star. Few people, smooth flights, seamless journeys. I’m a repeat customer and absolutely love this option.
