Had my Karcher 2 for 24 years
Bought a Karcher 4 after my Karcher 2 which I'd had for 24 years was coming to the end of its life. I jet washed my paving slabs & the job took a day less than my Karcher 2. The pressure was spot on & it did a great job.
My advice would be to set up the Karcher when you first get it so when you do need to use it it's ready to go.
It would be good to have a locking system whilst using the gun as being 69 years old my grip is not very good.

Customer Service terrible 3 days later still waiting WhatsApp response to query why my existing lance extension pieces don’t fit new top of the line K7 pressure washer. Another formerly good brand ruined by pretending to care about customers. Would give zero stars if I could.

I have used my K4 pressure washer 4 times and it is now leaking water from the main unit and has no pressure. I tried to contact via helpline and everyday got a message saying all our agents are busy -we will get back to you within the next 3 days - do you want to be in the queue. I answered ‘YES’ and for the next 10 days I did just that without any reply. I then emailed them with all my details & 5 year guarantee and after a week - nothing!!!
I then checked out the reviews and like many others my confidence of getting my faulty K4 resolved is low. How can a company get away with this appalling customer service? Well they may use AI responses but I am in the process of using AI myself to complain to the appropriate bodies. Needless to say on these levels of customer care…

The agent answered my query with ease. Only complaint I have is with regards the machine, why have patio cleaning liquid when the brush doesn't automatically suck the liquid through the machine!

Karcher not worked on 1st use.
I bought one last November & have been disputing about the gun leaking badly from handle on 1st use. I cannot use it.
So i have a brand new washer i cant use! And cos I said I wanted to use for a couple of jobs at work as well, & needed it fixed they said my guarantee didn't stand. As it's for home use only. So I said fine, I won't use for work then. But since the last time I spoke to them in March they havent got back to me.
And I bought the more expensive one on offer for not far off £400. Rip Off!

Karcher Pressure Washer hose lengths
I bought a Karcher K4 pressure washer, as far as the hose length is concerned, I believe it is really bad sales marketing to constantly supply a product where everyone complains about the 6 meter hose length, its simply not long enough without repositioning the washer unit, lugging the water hose and electric cable repeatably around the car. All Kacher do is immediately send customers to search elsewhere to third party suppliers to get a replacement, for goodness sake Karcher make it 10 meters add another £10-£15 on the price and you will have no customer complaints, easy win. Another point would be Karcher are literally sending customers to other suppliers that then make further purchases that maybe otherwise would have been bought direct from Karcher thus losing sales. In my case whilst browsing for the 10 meter hose I also noticed a stubby gun and bought that too, that may not have been the case if the K4 simply had a 10 meter hose, probably thinking I need a foam gun too :)

3rd Karcher pressure washer to die on my. I thought throwing money at it would help. K2, K4 and K5. Repair and warranty process has been a nightmare. Don't bother trying to use their Whatsapp help, it just says they are overwhelmed week after week. Then they tried to blame it on the brand of hosepipe, length of hosepipe, brand of extension cords we use all sorts of nonsense..

Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service. I ordered a Window Vac a few weeks ago. The was faulty on receipt and does not charge. Email sent to customer services with a bounce back saying it takes 10 days to reply. Tried ringing in the meantime, got theough after an hour on hold to be asked for lots of information and then cut off with no resolution. Response from email after 10 days asking for more information (serial number etc) to get a further bounce back saying it will take 5 days to get a response. Do not purchase direct from Karcher as it seems impossible to get things sorted when they send faulty products out.

I made the mistake of ignoring other customers reviews on trustpilot. Kärcher’s customer service is control by AI & outsourced customer service hence it is very difficult to get an issue resolved in a timely manner. My order was placed on 23/3/26 and delivered damaged on 29/3/26.
The arrangents were agreed on 1/4/26 for a replacement device to be delivered on 11/4/26 which was the earliest date available. The courier arrived with no replacement device and instructed to just collect the damaged device. No receipt of collection or tracking information provided. I have been in communication with customer service many times and always receive an automated response stating that customer service will respond in 5 working days. Which is always just an apology with no constructive arrangements for me to get my replacement device arranged. I have also requested my return be escalated to a manager or supervisor of customer service but this is just treated with the same automated wait 5 working days followed by just an apology from an overseas customer service agent. I had an email this morning not to arrange my replacement device but stating I will receive a refund in 5 working days of my return arriving back with Karcher. I now have no product and no refund and no way of checking when/if my returned pressure washer will or has arrived back at Karcher. Out of pocket for over a month with no customer service from Karcher. Please take notice and do not reward this shambolic company with your business !!

Less than a year and I have the same problems. No pressure.
After less than a year the pressure has died. I have bought a lot of pressure hoses from you but the problem still persists.

Non-existent after sales service.
I needed support for a Karcher K4. After three days of trying to get through to the WhatsApp helpline and being told “no agents are available would you like to stay in the queue” saying yes and never getting a response I was events told “Unfortunately all our operators are unavailable, please contact us again at a later stage”.
Utterly useless - indeed completely absent - after sales service.

Swift and efficient customer support
Having received a faulty T7 plus, I contacted Karcher Support and Monika swiftly processed the support chat, resolving my issue in minutes few. If only all customer support personnel were this helpful and efficient.

Great customer service
DHL lost my machine over bank holiday weekend but fortunately Monika from Head Office got straight on their case and two days later I have my steamer. A bumpy ride but the service was excellent.

Having owned several Karcher models…
Having owned several Karcher models over the years, and most recently 2 K3 models and 1 K4 Power control model (which has been used less than 10 times), all have suffered the same fate which i have had to repair myself, the high pressure output pipe leading from the top of the pump to the back of the machine fails, usually a pinhole split which sprays water all over the inside of the machine (leading to a danger of being electrocuted), I've raised this with Karcher themselves on theyre online chat (which is useless, as takes days to get a reply, many messages of "unfortunately there are no agents available to chat at this time, would you like to stay in the queue? ~ Yes - No") and constantly fobbed off and asking for information that i have already supplied, feels like theyre just to lazy to look back up the previous messages on theyre whatsapp webchat to see what I've already supplied, only to lead to another few days of no agents being available to chat, current K4 complaint has been ongoing on whatsapp since 23.03.26, customer service is a joke, even my local repair centre confirms there's a know issue with this pipe on karcher machines as 90% of his repairs are to do with this pipe on karcher machines, OK rant over, I certainly won't be buying any more Karcher pressure washers due to these failures, and unbelievably poor customer service
And having spoken with them today 09.04.2026, i was told that the K4 could only be repaired at a Karcher Service centre at a cost of £120 + vat, even though I have asked about buying only the part that has failed, which is available on lots of online sites for under £10, totally useless and unhelpful customer service which has taken over 2 weeks to get nowhere,
Definitely won't be buying another Karcher after this, and would recommend to anyone else to AVOID buy a Karcher

Pressure washer caught fire after using…
After using the unit, I noticed it had begun smoking while stationary, and it subsequently caught fire. I have video evidence showing the unit smoking prior to igniting.
This incident presented a significant safety risk. The machine was unattended for a short period, and had I stored it immediately after use, the fire could have developed in an enclosed space such as my garage which is also part of my house. This could have resulted in substantial property damage or even risk to life.
I previously raised this matter with your customer service team and was informed that, due to the age of the unit (approximately 15 years), no action could be taken. While I understand the product is outside of warranty, I do not consider it acceptable for an electrical appliance to fail in a manner that involves fire.
I have retained the unit and can provide video evidence, photographs, and model details upon request.
