Die Verbindung von App und Lautsprechern funktioniert nicht

Vor einigen Tagen habe ich meine neuen KEF LS50 Wireless II Lautsprecher erhalten.
Ich habe mich bei KEF registriert und frage mich, warum Angaben wie genauer Standort, Kaufpreis und Alter erforderlich sind. Ich habe die App mindestens fünfmal installiert und wieder deinstalliert. Auf Empfehlung von KEF habe ich zusätzlich die Google-Home-App heruntergeladen und verschiedene Verbindungswege ausprobiert. Ich habe immer wieder versucht, die Lautsprecher mit dem Router bzw. der App zu verbinden, und dabei alle mir bekannten Möglichkeiten ausgeschöpft – einschließlich Bedienungsanleitung, Internetrecherche, KI-Unterstützung sowie Kontakt mit der KEF-Hotline.
Ein zunächst sehr hilfsbereiter KEF-Mitarbeiter teilte mir schließlich mit, dass er mir nicht weiterhelfen könne und ich selbst eine Lösung finden müsse. Das finde ich sehr enttäuschend.
Im Gegensatz zu dem sehr freundlichen Verkäufer hinterlässt KEF bei mir einen sehr negativen Eindruck. Es ist bedauerlich, dass so unglaublich komplizierte und zeitaufwendige Installationsversuche dazu führen, dass man über einen Widerruf nachdenkt.

Perchesd a pair of LSX II speakers, the WiFi doesn't work won't connect to network, have to connect Ethernet cable to work, and Bluetooth doesn't work, had to connect optical cable to work,.
Contacted KEF phone support, although support person was very friendly and on phone over an hour they could not come up with a fix.
If you are looking for good sound from active speakers these are good as long as you don't want WiFi or Bluetooth connection.

Awesome Customer Service and Products

I have owned many, many, pairs of Kef speakers for over a 25 year period. Never a complaint. Whenever I had a question or possible issue, they were quick to reply and respond. They have always gone way over my expectations, and the products are awesome. This past month I was in contact with Vinny about some replacement grills and took care of me pronto. We all know how long it takes to get responses back from so may others, but these guys are great. I've been waiting for an answer from another English speaker (east guess) company for over 6 mos. I don't need the answer, but poor customer service for sure. That's my soapbox for KEF, they deserve it. Thank you!

KEF LS60 The rumours are true!

I have lived with theLS60s for a year now and still remain delighted with the sound which brings a smile to my face on every listen. My ‘forever’ speakers and something I more than happy to recommend.

I should add, on delivery a year ago I noticed a small defect which was dealt with professionally and efficiently by KEF head office which I am grateful for.

Kef meta speaker repair

One of my Kef speakers 'blew' just outside the warranty period. I returned it for repair which took 10 weeks due to the lack of a replacement part. My speaker was returned to me, as good as new and Kef did not ask for any payment or provide any explanation. I am delighted with their customer aftercare in repairing my speaker but I was disappointed with their lack of information provided by them whilst the speaker was in their care. However this was a minor issue, the repair and return of the brilliant product was excellent. I'm a happy Kef customer

Prettige service

Zeer goede ervaring met KEF! De support heeft mij uitstekend geholpen bij het maken van keuzes en met de juiste afstellingen. Je krijgt snel en duidelijk antwoord, wat erg prettig is. Fijne service en zeker aan te raden!

Good but not perfect

I encountered a couple of issues setting up my new LSX II LT (my fault, as it happened) and was contacted promptly with useful support. I had a similar experience connecting my older speakers to the wifi, and Claire came up with the solution in a very short timeframe.

I also have a long history of problems with my original LSX. They had to be repaired during the warranty period - which happened smoothly, but took a long time, because the part had to be sent to Madrid, and then we hit the summer holidays when everything in Spain shuts down. I had a different problem after the warranty period ended, and was disappointed that Kef would not cover the cost; the master speaker stopped communicating with the slave, even though they were connected by cable. The repairer said this should not have happened, and there was obviously a fault, but I got no assistance with this expense. Afterwards I had ongoing problems with the wifi connection dropping out, and Sophia was very helpful. I was offered a free part if I wanted to repair them or a substantial discount on a new pair. In the end I selected the latter, and am very happy with my new purchase. I have persisted with Kef because the quality of the sound is so good, and with the LSX II I am finding the connectivity works much better than the older model. The customer service is also responsive and helpful. I have deducted one star because my original speakers had several problems.

What a fabtastic experience!

What a fabtastic experience from start to finish! I asked several questions which were all answered promptly which led to the purchase of a set of LSX 2 active speakers. Im lucky enough to also own the LS50 Wireless 2 and these are a prettier smaller version. Imaging, soundtaging and clairty are way more than i expected. A lot of reviews kept mentioning physics when it comes to bass response but its honestly rubbish. They have plenty! Neutral and accurate but also completely customisable for sound and surroundings. The app is incredible and is essential, i could never go back to non-active speakers again now. Quick delivery and the unboxing experience was fantastic. Every part in the box was quality. I was sceptical about the price fo something so small, but i honestly understand where it went. WELL worth the money. Couldnt be happier.

j’ai les LS50 Wireless II

j’ai les LS50 Wireless II, design du produit et qualité du son TOP.
Cependant je mets deux étoiles parce que la connectivité est une vraie horreur: le son se coupe systemiquement après quelques dizaines de secondes d’écoutes, et puis ça resaute ça et la. j’ai pourtant mis les enceintes et l’app à jours. J’ai aussi un système sonos et bien que j’aime moins leur son, je les utilise plus souvent car ils sont plus stables

Great support sorting some initial…

Great support sorting some initial difficulties with getting the app to connect with the speakers, works great and the Kef Coda W are superb for their price - only drawback is they require an external streamer for playing over wifi - but doesn’t require anything more than a Wiim mini over optical, a cheap solution that makes these really shine. U couldn’t be happier with my these KEF speakers. Nice colours too!

Excellent support

I had trouble connecting the ls60 to wifi. After a few mail and respons I decided to call. I was pleasently surprised. No useless AI. I spoke to two human beings, both very nice and patient. After about half an hour and several measures the speakers finally connected. Thank you Claire and Gabriel (?). You are very good at your job!

Haven't received my order

My father placed an order on the 8th of January, where it said delivery would be arranged in 2-3 days. He still hasn't received the order and it's making him anxious as it obviously was an expensive item (£159). He's also been in contact with someone from their customer support team (Gabriel), who told him the order would definitely be sent on the 27th and he would get tracking details, but he still hasn't heard anything back. On the website it also says "unfulfilled" under order status. Keep in mind, he placed the order 20+ days ago. Very frustrating experience

Ein toller Kauf

Mein Kauf der KEF R5 meta Lautsprecher direkt beim Hersteller verlief vollkommen problemlos. Nach einer kurzen Bearbeitungszeit wurden mir die Boxen durch einen Spediteur in einer superstabilen Verpackung angeliefert.
Die Lautsprecher auszupacken, sie im Wohnzimmer zu platzieren und sie dann endlich am Verstärker anzuschließen, war zwar mit einigem Aufwand verbunden, aber gleichzeitig such wirklich spannend.
Die ausgesprochen schön gestylten Boxen klingen im Betrieb so, wie sie aussehen: super. Der Kauf war für mich der beste Deal des Jahres 2025.
Und warum?
Weil ich begeistert bin.
