KEF LS60 Game Changers
Firstly. Cards on the table, I am an audiophile and make no apologies. I have spent abhorrent amounts of money over the years ‘chasing the unreachable’ when it comes to all things HiFi.
A house move forced my hand in to selling all my equipment that I assumed would take me YEARS to replace.
But, I was told about some active speakers from KEF and with some serous reservations I took the plunge.
I purchased some LS60 speakers and have recently taken delivery. I thought these ‘would do’ until my finances allowed me to splurge on my usual HIFI upgrade addiction.
But no.
I need spend no more. These speakers are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! My journey ends here and it ends with the KEF LS60. Wonderful.
I must add a word of thanks to Claire at KEF. I had some issues when ordering - problems of my own making of which she helped and is still helping me resolve. A credit to the company.

Brilliant KEF support on 20 year old speakers
Got in touch with Kef regards to some q7 speakers (20 years plus old now) and asked if I could get hold of the crossover bars on the back of speaker as lost mine. Great guy called Andy replied within 2 hrs and said he would ship them out. Arrived next day! Fabulous support from KEF especially considering ages of speakers.

Panic! Phew, Kef support to the rescue
My Keff journey began after a visit to the Keff concept store / listening experience in London. Shortly afterwards I purchased a pair of LS60’s which I have been very happy with but as with every hifi set-up there’s always something more you need! Hence the recent order for a pairing KC62 Subwoofer to enhance the sound on certain music.
There is a current offer of a free KW1 wireless adapter to enable wireless connection of the dub to my LS60’s….probably my fault but after checking out I realised the KW1 was not on my completed basket or on the invoice summary.
A message to Kef support and contact with Claire. Claire issued a code that allowed me to purchase the KW1 for no cost! Panic Over!!
Great service from a great company which makes great products. I’m loving my Kef journey and looking forward to enhancing my set up further.

Recently purchased a pair of R11 meta to couple to our audiolab hifi and cannot recommend kef more they have been brilliant all the way through.
I visited kef London to hear a side by side comparison of the q11 and r11 they where amazingly helpful all the way through I went for the r11.
Claire helped me with my delivery and follow up calls after, the care this company has taken with me has been genuinely second to none, the speakers and beautiful and sound amazing. I simply cannot recommend kef enough.

My Kef LSX speakers are basically rendered useless after failing to connect to AirPlay due to a horrible app - Kef support has no resolution. I feel like I have been subject to fraud - steer clear of this company, they do not deserve anyone’s business.

KEF LS50 Wireless II neu gekauft und kurz nach Ablauf der Garantie (Neupreis fast 2.000€) fliegt bei der einen Box die Hauptplatine weg.
Kulanz von KEF abgelehnt. Reparatur kostet 400€. Bleibt abzuwarten, wann die andere Box den Geist aufgibt.
Beim Freund exakt das selbe Problem.

I had recently moved and after carefully unpacking my beloved R7's along with all my other speakers from Kef, I had lost my adjustable spikes....who knows where! I couldn't set up or listen to music until this was resolved. I thought that I would make a phonecall to Kef to see how much they would be to replace and if they even did spares. To my joy a gentleman called Andy in the spares dept answered the phone. He was so helpful and said to leave it with him. He already had my details, I guess from previous purchases. A few days later a padded envelope dropped onto the mat with my replacement feet. And the thing is I was not charged. This gesture as a lifelong Kef customer put the biggest smile on my face all day. Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest impressions.
I would like to say to Kef that Andy is an absolute diamond and a proper gentleman. 10 out of 10 for everything Andy. Thank you so much normality has been restored.

I can't comprehend the negative reviews. The customer service is superb: not only professional, but I got personally guided through out the whole process of troubleshooting - and it worked. Regarding the product quality: exactly what I expected and hoped for in this price class.

Teleurstellende ervaring met KEF Audio’s klantenservice
Als liefhebber van hoogwaardige audio was ik enthousiast om een paar KEF Mu3 oortjes aan te schaffen. Helaas werd mijn enthousiasme al snel getemperd door de frustrerende ervaring die volgde toen ik probeerde het product te retourneren.
Onbereikbare klantenservice
Het grootste probleem was het volledig ontbreken van communicatie van KEF’s kant. Ondanks herhaalde pogingen via verschillende kanalen (telefoon, e-mail, sociale media) kreeg ik geen enkele reactie van het bedrijf. Dit gebrek aan respons is onacceptabel voor een merk dat zich positioneert in het high-end segment.
Onduidelijk retourbeleid
Hoewel KEF claimt een 30-dagen retourgarantie te bieden, bleek het in de praktijk onmogelijk om hier gebruik van te maken. Zonder duidelijke instructies of een aanspreekpunt voelde ik me compleet aan mijn lot overgelaten.
Contrast met beloftes
KEF beweert op hun website dat klanttevredenheid en ondersteuning hoog in het vaandel staan. Mijn ervaring staat hier echter haaks op. Het contrast tussen de luxe uitstraling van het merk en de gebrekkige after-sales service is schokkend groot.
Conclusie
Deze ervaring heeft mijn vertrouwen in KEF ernstig geschaad. Voor een bedrijf dat premium producten verkoopt, is de klantenservice ver onder de maat. Potentiële kopers zou ik aanraden om goed na te denken over de risico’s van een aankoop bij een bedrijf dat zo moeilijk bereikbaar is bij problemen.
Als KEF hun reputatie wil herstellen, moeten ze dringend investeren in een toegankelijke en responsieve klantenservice. Tot die tijd kan ik het merk helaas niet aanbevelen, ondanks de kwaliteit van hun producten.

I love my KEF LSX II speakers. They are the perfect solution to hi-fi listening in a cramped space where I had to digitise all my music. They also have a clear advantage over the Bluesound system I used before, which required tinkering with esoteric parts of Windows that Microsoft wants to deprecate whenever I had an issue.
Recently I had some issues with getting the sound from them. One by one, Helen sorted the problems for me with clear and helpful email responses, always within one business day. Give her a pay rise!

Seit Mitte Juni 2024 habe ich einen Subwoofer HBT-2 zur Reparatur abgegeben. Irgend ein Problem mit der Elektronik, denn es ist ein Funklautsprecher. Ist zwar schon etwas älterer, sieht aber aus wie neu & war davor vollkommen funktionstüchtig. Seit Juni schaffte es KEF nicht, eine verlässliche Aussage zu treffen, ob eine Reparatur möglich ist oder nicht. Das Servicecenter zeigt auch keinerlei Ambitionen, das Thema in irgendeiner Richtung zu klären und gibt einem eine Telfonnummer von einer Werkstatt in Holland. Premiumprodukt und schlechter Service sind eine sehr schlechte Kombi. Schade und mega enttäuschend!

I've been using KEF's T series speakers for a few years now and theres not much on the market that can offer the same form factor / quality. One of my speaker stands got knocked over in an accident and broke part of the fitting.
A query to KEF about trying to find a replacement part ended up with them sending me half the speaker stand (including the part that was broken) free of change and out side any warranty period. Given that these stands are £100+ pounds each it was much more than I was expecting. Wish more companies acted like this!
