Very slow order processing

Waiting for a week for this company to “verify payment” prior to shipment. Every other online company verify’s payment almost instantly. They seem to be an order processing company for manufacturing companies. Clearly they are behind the times.

Unbelievable how bad this company is

Unbelievable how bad this company is. No order confirmation while placing order. Shipping tracking. I was wasn’t even sure my order went through and a month later a package arrived. I was double ordered and tried to call customer service but I’m not sure they actually have customer service. They are terrible in every way. I’m writing this because my experience was so bad that I hope it somehow makes a difference. With all of the online ordering available, Kibo has to know how shoddy of a business they run.

Ordered a backrest for a Can Am Spyder

Ordered a backrest for a Can Am Spyder. Ordered the wrong one. Tried contacting Kibo twice by phone. No one picked up after an hour on hold. Finally just disregarded the return instructions and called the shipping dealership directly. They were able to generate the RMA themselves.

Negative reviews all written by same person

Read all of the negative reviews of Kibo very carefully. You can see that they are all written by the same person. He or she uses a bunch of different names but the same type of language. My hunch is they work for a competing company.

Don't use BRP Parts website run by KIBO

I too, like many of you, had an awful experience. Ordered a hitch from BRP. KIBO site was a disaster, kept crashing. Tried again 5 hours later, and finally confirmed an order. The next day, was notified my order was shipped by 2 competing firms. Called KIBO to cancel one, no luck. Said just accept them and they would generate a return and provide a shipping label. 2 months later, still no return label. When I expressed my frustration to customer service, in regards to how long it was taking, how I was promised a return label etc etc, they said it would take several months as they had to contact BRP to authorize a shipping return label. When I questioned why it would take several months to get a return authorization/shipping label, he hung up on me. I called a month later, was told to ship the duplicate back at my own cost, and I would be refunded shipping costs. Short of it all, it has been 3 months, I have incurred and eaten nearly $30 of shipping costs (including the original shipping fee which was not refunded by the vendor, PLUS the $6.05 KIBO fee) plus my own shipping costs. Essentially, I have spent almost $45 on shipping for a $30 part. Skidoo and BRP should re-evaluate this relationship. As a brand that considers itself to be a premium product, with premium service, it boggles my mind why they would rely on a bucket shop like KIBO that is so far behind the times, lacks the infrastructure to properly service their clientele, notwithstanding their customer service is nothing short of disgraceful. I am on email 6 or 7, and have had no less than half a dozen calls on this matter....just spinning my wheels. Shame on you KIBO and shame on you BRP for using such a poor quality firm.

Kibo is terrible

I agree with the reviewer who wrote "If you ever place an order and the website redirects you to Kibo to handle their sale, back out immediately and order from a different site."

I was buying something from joby.com and had no idea Kibo was behind them. When I tried to place my order on joby.com using a credit card, I got a transaction failed message, so I tried it again using PayPal and the order went through. But then I received 2 order confirmations with different order numbers, meaning I was charged for duplicate orders. Joby uses Kibo to process credit card orders, and fulfill orders, and provide customer service for those orders.

Neither the Joby website nor the Kibo website would let me cancel any of the orders. I emailed both Joby and Kibo, neither cancelled one of the the orders.

I tried calling Joby, they were closed. I tried calling Kibo, their message said closed until 12am CST. Called at 12:15am CST, nobody at Kibo answered phone or chat. Tried multiple times over the next hour and half, nobody at Kibo answered.

Got hold of Kibo 2 hours later on chat, they said they would cancel one of the orders and email me. Hours later I received 2 shipping notices! The order was NOT cancelled and I never received an email.

I tried calling Joby, but they are not open Fridays.

I called Kibo, they said too late the orders had shipped. They told me I would have to pay to have it returned! I said no way, this is completely their fault. They said they would talk to someone about getting a prepaid return label and while I was on the line they hung up on me!

I called Kibo back and the new person would not even try to get me a label, claiming the distribution center was closed, even though when I called 10 minutes ago it was open! They told me to refuse shipment, but I am not at home during the day to do so.

At this point I believe Kibo committed fraud, they falsely claimed the transaction had failed and double billed me and did absolutely nothing to refund the money, cancel the order, or stop shipment, and lied about their customer service hours. I called my credit card company and they got Kibo on the line. Kibo took no responsibility and said they would be sending me a label. I have received nothing to date.

After the package arrives I will be opening a dispute with the credit card company. I am not paying 1 cent for Kibo's mistakes.

Horrible, terrible, company. I also will never order again from any merchant who uses their services.

Purchased a jacket from BRP they sent…

Purchased a jacket from BRP they sent me the wrong size. Contacted Kibo to obtain a prepaid label to return the jacket that was sent in the wrong size as I didn’t feel I should have to pay for something that was an error on the part of the distribution store. Their customer service representatives are either incompetent or ill trained as it took 5 weeks and an email to the actual store. Once the store clerk emailed me back he said that it wasn’t at all what Kibo told them was the issue. If you can imagine after sending photos as proof that jacket was the wrong size and clearly stating I didn’t want a replacement jacket Kibo had the store send another coat!! Try and avoid any purchases that use Kibo as their return agent, it’ll be nothing but torture. Contacted the store directly and had a return label in under 2 hours. Terrible service from Kibo

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT HAS TO GO THROUGH KIBO

If you ever place an order and the website redirects you to Kibo to handle their sale, back out immediately and order from a different site. This company is a joke. There is no customer service phone number and if you choose to try and chat with someone about your issue, forget that too. Currently waiting to chat for the 3rd time this week and it's been over 30 minutes waiting. Just to chat!!! Terrible customer service, no way to speak directly to anyone and I have been charged nearly $600 for a product that hasnt' even shipped or been made! On back order from Honda until August. I ordered my product on June 15th and received one email saying that my order had been placed, then they went ghost on me. Zero contact. They got one star because I had to click something to get me to this stupid box to leave a nastygram. Can not believe this place is a business, nor can I believe they are still in business. Nothing but bad reviews. Anybody from Kibo read them?? Like the owner?? Manager?? Anybody?? Guess I'll dispute the charge through the credit card company since there is no one to speak to. Terrible.

No customer service

I ordered cushions from Home Hardware and was charged twice. Waited almost an hour for online chat. It went no where. Called my credit card company, they gave me the tel#. On hold for another hour. Gave up. I will file a dispute with my Credit card company. I will never order from any company using Kibo.

Horrible company!!

Horrible company!!! They charged me for something they did not order!! And I can’t even get them on the phone to try to get a refund! I tried getting a email through but for some reason it wouldn’t go through!!! I will never use this company again!

So bad

So bad! Ordered an item from HomeHardware.ca and it arrived damaged. Returned it and I have not received my refund after a few weeks. It’s been impossible to get a hold of anyone from Kibo (as per my local Home Hardware’s instructions), so I tried to open a ticket via the online form. Ticket was immediately closed with no resolution. Ridiculous.

Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service

Do not use Kibo, used them to order from the Yamaha Canada website. Order was shipped missing items, and I had to contact customer service multiple times (5), each time telling me they would escalate and contact me in 48 hours (each time they did not).

Takes ~45 mins to get a CSR on chat, templated responses and no action.

I will never order from a Kibo site again, and would recommend consumers and businesses to look elsewhere.

Terrible.

EDIT- And the 5 star reviews below this sound like fake reviews made internally by Kibo to try and get the average rating up, would not surprise me after how terrible they were to deal with!

EDIT - Had to escalate to a chargeback via my credit back after no response from Kibo - huge hassle and do not recommend purchasing from sites that use Kibo

Don't order parts on line from Minn…

Do not order parts on line from Minn Kota (Johnson Marine) they use this company for their transactions. My order was duplicated 4 times besides original order and there is no record of order with Minn Kota. 1hour-5minutes hold time first call to Kibo. Was told 24-48 resolve time, past deadline and waiting 40+ minutes on hold before I gave up. There is no customer support. Period. My funds are on hold at bank and I can't afford to order via different means because of this. Now 4+ days before I can even reorder. They have my funds tied up, have delayed repairs to my vessel and you can't get support from either company in a timely manner. Augh!!!!!

horrible Company

I truly do not understand how these Companies use Kibo for their online ordering service. Worst communication and Company I have ever dealt with...period. Try to call them!!! You will be on hold forever. Then if you are lucky enough to get a person on the phone they are rude and would rather cancel your order than assist you.

DO NOT ORDER OFF CAN AM WEBSITE. These jokesters run can ams online accessory page on their website. I placed an order for $2500 worth of stuff. When I completed my order online I took a screenshot of the order number. Never got a confirmation email like you would with 99.9% of orders placed online. Thought that was weird. Waited a week and trying getting ahold of customer support (kibo commerce). Called three times and waited on hold for at least a half an hour with no luck. Finally the fourth time got through to somebody. They guy told me there was no record of an order. I don’t understand how I can have an order number but no order was placed???? Now I’ll have to monitor my card to make sure they don’t charge me. What a poor excuse of a company. This is the first bad review I have ever written online in my 30 years of existence.
