I got just what I asked for. All the people I that came to my home were first class

Very quick service, only one week from design to installation. Installer very professional. Talked me through everything and left the place clean and tidy.

Good communication throughout the process from design to final fitting.
No high pressure sales techniques and prices shown upfront with no hidden extras. Both design team and fitters were professional and down to earth making the process easier overall.

Everyone was excellent from start to finish

The service we received was extremely professional from the first visit by the designer through to the fitting. The whole process including the fitting of 3 days took 10 days from start to finish. The fitter worked tirelessly to complete a first glass job to our kitchen that was far from straight forward. Cost more than I thought at first but do not regret signing up. Would thoroughly recommend company.

Very good service from start to finish, with a very prompt turnaround. Everyone I spoke to in the company was polite and helpful, and our fitter, Ali, was delightful - he worked hard to ensure that our kitchen was finished to a high quality, and left everything clean and tidy. We are extremely pleased with the end result - the kitchen looks new, and at a very reasonable cost. Thank you.

Asked for a brouchure which arrived very quickly. Since then i have been phoned everyday,sometimes twice a day. I feel harrassed and pressured. Is this the way a supposedly reputable company behaves. I keep texting back to the mobile number saying i am not interested.

The Kitchen Restoration Company provided a decent service overall. The kitchen transformation looked great, but there were some hiccups regarding communication and admin—such as delays in receiving promised guarantees. While the fitters worked hard and the end result was good, improvements in customer service would make the experience better. Average experience, 3/5.

The salesman worked hard to identify the best option for my budget. The quality of the doors supplied was excellent and the fitter worked quickly and efficiently.

The only thing that I think they could have done to improve the service would be to confirm all dates by email as my memory is awful.

The kitchen doors were replaced quickly and efficiently by the 2 men that came to see us. Very pleased with the result

Parts were cut wrong, and the time the fitter had to spend driving back to Birmingham, instead of spending the time fitting was shocking, this then made the fit an extra day longer.

NB - this company also trades as Kitchen Magic - yes that one, the one that Debbie McGee advertises on the TV.

This all started in Summer July 2024.
Absolutely painful and rubbish from the get go, first they delivered the wrong size of parts for replacement, then a couple of weeks after the initial installation date once the work was done, the drawer fronts started falling off the drawers.
Then it took months to respond to email requests for remedy - they say they only received the last one sent on the 25/09/2024. At that point they said it would be 5-7 days.

I then heard nothing until I contacted them again and mentioned possible legal action.
Then when that contact was finally acknowledged they arranged a date - 9/12/2024, but not a time, saying that the fitter would contact me to arrange the time, but the fitter didn't call me at all.

The day of the appointment - 9/12/2024 - came, but nobody called to arrange an approximate time for the work to be done, or tried to let me know they were not going to come, and when I called their customer care at 12:30pm they were "confused" and said they would try and find out why, didn't know where the fitter was, and couldn't get a response, but would call me back.

I waited over 2 hours for a call back, but finally ran out of patience and called them back.

They said they were surprised that nobody had contacted me, and then changed their story to say that the fitter had tried to call me on my mobile multiple times and had left messages - he hadn't, and as the only contact number was the one they were talking to me on, which hadn't left my side as i waited at home for them to arrive, they realised that lie wouldn't fly. They then told me that the people who arrange the fitting work had gone home (3:30pm) and that they will call tomorrow - I am still awaiting remedial action.

UPDATE 16/12/2024 -
After finally promising me that a fitter would be around to my home to fix the still existing problem of drawers they broke between 9am and 11am, I just had a call from their fitter saying he wouldn't be with us until after midday.

I then tried to call the person dealing with this at Kitchen Restoration Company/Kitchen Magic (the same company trading under two names) and surprise surprise she isn't in. This is despite her telling me that I should call her if there was any problem. The only way things keep going this badly wrong is when a company is run to fleece its customers and where profiteering is seen as more important than customer service.

Yup, the fitter is yet again a no-show, and not even bothering to call to say he wouldn't.
The person I am supposed to deal with is always away from her desk. They quite clearly have a series of excuses - read: lies - that they use when fobbing off customers.

You will also note that others reviewing here seem to have had similar issues.

Based on that, my guess is that Kitchen Magic just keep their fingers crossed and hope nothing goes wrong, but have no robust measures in place to remedy anything if it does go wrong.

They have also categorically said won't offer me any financial recompense for the literal days of my own time wasted chasing them and waiting for them to turn up.

Do not ever use Kitchen Restoration Company or Kitchen Magic - THEY ARE NOT MAGIC AND THEY WILL NOT RESTORE YOUR KITCHEN!

I won't change my review, even if they do fix the issues satisfactorily, as they dont deserve promotion or praise for a complete and utter failure to provide an adequate service in the first place, and having to be chased at every step to get anything done since that point.

Staff turned up on time and were polite and efficient.

Excellent very good quality. Quick and easy. Beautiful results.

The items were not measured correctly leaving the job looking amateurish. I was massively overcharged for the labour, paid for twice as much time as was needed for a small task. Not as good value as it should be, check the small print as well.

In response to your response, if you didn’t keep notes of my complaint that is your fault. And I’m saying the amount that you ask is too much.

Great job. Very quick from order to installation. The installer; Artur was awesome and deserves lots of credit for his work
