This is only the second time that I have had a concern with a KiwiCo kit and this time I am sure it was my fault.
KiwiCo support has come through both times with superior customer service.
We love the KiwiCo kits and the KiwiCo company!

Every kit they send is not worth the price, even with the "discount." My baby showed very little interest in each crate that arrived every couple of months, even as they got older. Some of the toys are ridiculous and make me really wonder why I'm paying for it. Perhaps their kits for older kids are better, but for babies, I have been finding each crate to be very disappointing. Their return policy is also nonexistent and crap. You cannot return a crate even if it is unopened, even if you want credit for a future crate. I will not be renewing after my 6 month subscription and will plan on exploring Lovevery instead. I did however give one extra star because at least you are able to reach a live customer representative via phone or chat.
*Edit: Kiwico reached out, but I already spoke with a customer representative who told me I could get a refund if I cancelled my last crate. I actually want the 14 month crate so this offer is useless to me.

So, I made a monthly subscription recently. The first order was great -I received 2 boxes, which is correct. Then the next month they sent 2 same boxes. I have 1 child. Then the month after the same again. 2 duplicates in the shipment. Customer service blames me, that I can choose beforehands what the packets will contain and they are not taking back the useless duplicates.
-plot twist: there is NO way to choose what goes in the package. It is duplicates for ever and ever if you stay a subsriber. I obviously left.

I then canceled the subscription and reached out to support which was very responsive and issued a refund for the second charge. This way we can first open the first crate and then continue the subscription as it was initially intended.

I ordered a crate subscription to be shipped to the wrong address. Even though it was my mistake, your staff went the extra mile to get it resolved for me. They were extremely helpful and handled the problem very quickly. I was very happy with their response and would definitely recommend your company.

When I made my order, for some reason my phone used my address from 9 years ago. I emailed the customer service and they fixed it for me before the package was sent out.

I reached out and got an auto/AI response. Before I saw it and had a chance to do what it asked, a real person had also emailed, and solved the problem! It was very fast, easy, and above-and-beyond what I expected as a solution.

Ordered just under 4 weeks ago. A simple, overpriced playdoh roller.
My preschoolers are still waiting on what appears to be a drop ship company.
I wont bother with them in the future.
No knowing if it will even arrive.

I made a purchase back in November 2025, a 12 month "pay as you go" subscription, which clearly states it will automatically continue each month unless cancelled.
I was notified of the upcoming charge for the 2nd crate, I cancelled immediately.
3 months later, I'm charged again without warning. The only comms I receive is a "your item has been shipped" email. No invoice, no warning that the subscription was suddenly unpaused.
My account clearly states the subscription is "Cancelled".
Over 10 attempts to call their office, and I only ever reach their automated service, never a human.
Over 30 attempts to use their online Support, always errors.
Emails go ignored.
I now have to go through the pain of charge backs via my creditcard.
I can only hope they get black listed from all of these complaints.

Unfortunately this i a scam company, that does auto renewal without my confirmation. Denied to do full refund.

The billing practices make the whole experience feel shady. It feels like they’re banking on people forgetting. After dealing with this, I’m a lot less excited about recommending KiwiCo to anyone.

The crates are great however customer service sucks. Had been trying to reach them for a month via chat and email, no response at all. Even when i get a response, it was being ignored again the minute i replied
