Still need to install range hood, but my experience with K STAR was great!

Quick and very good response

We’ve had our hood for only 3 years and the lights started flashing then would go off for several minutes then back on for several minutes. Customer service generally are not helpful and don’t seem to know their product or are willing to help. I would not recommend this product or this company.

Love our stovetop vent hood. Easy process to order new vent filters. Was impressed to receive a customer service call to verify I wanted two sets of filters as they are sold as a pair. Yes I ordered two. Happy to have the new filters in place. Would be nice for recommendations on cleaning them as it’s tricky to remove the grease.

I have this kitchen range hood for almost 10 years and one of the lights just started blinking one day and was impossible to find were I live. I found the exact product needed in K-Star store. In just a couple of days my kitchen range hood started looks as new! Thanks for the quick shipping. Excellent!!

Very efficient service. A rep called to say that I had incorrectly entered store-pickup. He then set up mail delivery. Got the filters two days later.

Works well When I needed to replace an LED light K-Star was very quick to respond with replacement light and instructions

Good customer service. Super fast shipping .

Bought stainless steel filters, but the screws a springs got rusted after first wash, even though followed the clean instructions.

Called customer service and was told there is no warranty, and they are not responsible for the return shipping fee if the customer needs to return the defective products.

The product is not worth $50/pair.

The following is the updated review after reading the seller’s response to my previous review:

I ordered this set of stainless steel baffle filters through K-Star website on Dec.11 and received the products about 8 days after.

The first time I contacted company was the phone call and left a message, but nobody returned call until I called again on 12/22. After I spoke to Kevin who had all the correspondences with me, I emailed the pictures of the filters with the rusted screws and springs. The answer was “ the company never got any complaints and provides no warranty”.

After that, no matter how I asked to replace the products (since nobody had complained, I guess mine was just the exception) thru email or phone calls, there was nobody replied/answered at all.

In your reply to my previous review, I had all the answers in my emails already and even attached the picture of the detergent I have been using for my dishwasher. Is it so-called “strong chemicals”?? And why only the screws and springs on the filters were rusted???

You suggested the aluminum filters, I also responded to you already. Those filters came with the hood I bought from your distributor, they didn’t last long, so that’s why I chose the stainless steel ones this time.

I have done nothing wrong. As a consumer, I didn’t ask more than getting a replacement or returning a defect product.

Careful to verify the purchased item part, and fast shipping. Happy with the purchase.
