La Mer - if you invest in quality you get quantity
La Mer is one of the few brands aside from La Prarie, Valmont, Cellecosmet, and Sisley, that does what it says on its jars. There are few great brands out there and although, I list really expensive ones' if you invest wisely you will benefit. These companies do need to up the game and look at the potential of consumer build growth ie: those who cannot afford but would love to buy. Scouring websites for real deals is time-consuming, but! if you find a gem (La Mer) who is offering discounts on products this is a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner of a company. None of the others have dipped their toe in this water and they will lose out big time. La Mer is a product that does deliver and it's a great brand (despite the water tanks in stores), it works and if you are over 35yrs and you're taking your skincare seriously, you need to explore to achieve. You should write to them, explain who you are, include a face photo (if in doubt of what you need) and ask them for professional advice - you're not paying for this and you will get an answer, also ask if can they recommend a store where you can have a sample or can they send you one (it's not being cheeky it's being a potential customer). If they send one (WWCD) if not go into the store and ask the ladies at the La Mer Counter can you have some advice again they are happy to help (I've done this many times). Don't diss a brand without investing in it. I bet many of the others I've mentioned wont give you the time of day.

Valse acties, ze beloven 7 miniaturen bij aankoop vanaf €150, bij levering geen 1 miniatuur ontvangen. Vandaag contact opgenomen en er is geen stock meer, maar daarjuist krijg ik wel nog een newsletter met opnieuw die actie. Dit is gewoon bedrog! Verder kunnen ze mij niet helpen. Je koopt beter je producten ergens anders!
TRUFFA CAMPIONCINI-NON ARRIVANO
Nulla a che dire sul prodotto. L'imbroglio e' che La Mer ti fa scegliere dei campioncini per poi NON SPEDIRLI dicendo che sono fino ad esurimento scorte. Tra i campioncini, prodotti di costi elavatissimi che OVVIAMENTE NON T'INVIANO. Si viene invogliati a comprare anche perche' ci sono gli omaggi per provare qualcosa che costa tantissimo (anche con un forte sconto che avevo, il prezzo e' alto uguale), che poi non arriva.
NON VI FATE ABBINDOLARE, NON ARRIVANO OMAGGI.
The lamer SCAM!
The lamer online will promoting for spend €200 promising 5 sample gift + 2 extra gift but in reality I received only 3 gift. When I contact customer service, they said out of stock and the will not compnsate or refund with anything. Very Unfair. and false advertisement.
Expensive and not worth it
Been using their (expensive)products for two weeks now and I can’t see any difference at all, I’ve used different creams with other companies…not 100% amazing but still better than laMer, shame. The product doesn’t do anything.

Een bestelling gedaan van over de €300,- en je zou een Valentijnsdag gift krijgen bij een bestelling vanaf €200,- bestaande uit een pouch met vier mini’s.
Gift niet ontvangen, contact opgenomen met de klantenservice en die gaf aan dat waarschijnlijk de voorraad op was tijdens mijn bestelling en ze kon de gift helaas niet nasturen want dat is niet toegestaan (lekkere service) terwijl er wel constant mee geadverteerd wordt op de site om klanten te trekken.

Terrible products! I purchased their face and eye cream and now have chemical burns around my eyes and hives on my face. I will be taking legal action should I not hear back from the company directly.

Appalling customer service. Sadly some of the products are extremely good. La Mer should be ashamed of themselves. They have lost my gift voucher in their system, and I have been told that 'someone' will get back to me. Still waiting after 3 days.

Das ging aus dem entsprechenden*Text beim Angebot jedoch nicht hervor: „ *Aktion gilt nur auf cremedelamer.de. Die Aktion ist nur in dem Zeitraum vom 24.-27.11.2022 15:59 Uhr und ab einem Einkaufswert von 190€, 200€, 290€ bzw. 500€ gültig. Abbildungen können abweichen. Nur gültig, solange der Vorrat reicht. Bestel ik eindelijk voor het eerst een La Mer crème, ontvang ik enkel de samples, geen enkel briefje met een verklaring erbij of email, niks.
Dus ik bellen met de klantenservice, sorry mevrouw, de crème is tijdelijk niet op voorraad, we verwachten het einde van de maand weer, dan sturen wij het meteen op..
Oké, en wat smeer ik in de tussentijd op mijn gezicht? U kunt 1 van onze andere gezichts crèmes aanschaffen.. kreeg ik als antwoord!
Waarom zou ik een andere crème kopen van ruim 160 euro als ik er al reeds 1 besteld heb waar ik ook al voor betaald had.. blijkbaar denkt ze dat geld aan de bomen groeit.
Na 3 weken ontving ik eindelijk mij crème waar ik ook nog eens een allergische reactie op kreeg, meteen terug gestuurd dus en geld terug, dat gelukkig wel.
Kortom beter bij de Douglas kopen dan online in de La Mer Shop

This company is absolute evil. I ordered a Christmas gift for my mother in November. I received less than half the order and they still charged me full. I have been waiting for a refund since 6 weeks, nothing. They keep telling me that the refund is on its way. 7-14 business days? Yeah right. Don’t buy from them this is a fraud and the customer service doesn’t take anything seriously.

They don't have customer service
They have customers but they don't have service and care for them. I had online auto-ship orders setup , but I could not change and edit those orders after I set up. I called in for help, every time I was told to hold for over 30 minutes and I have cut off eventually because no one really help me after I hold the call so long. They don't deserve one star. I could give negative one if I could.

Ich war im Laden von La Mer in Oberpollinger in München. Als ich in London lebte, kaufte ich ihre Produkte und die Verkäuferin war immer sehr höflich, aber in diesem "Luxus"-Einkaufszentrum behandelt man einen wie eine S*****. Ich verstehe nicht, wie La Mer diese Art von Behandlung akzeptieren kann.
Die Dame war sehr unhöflich mit mir und gab mir eine nutzlose kostenlose Probe. Wenn ich bei ihnen über das Internet kaufe, schicken sie mir immer viel nützlichere und interessantere Muster.
Angesichts des Preises ihrer Produkte war ich von der Verkäuferin beleidigt.
Ich werde nie wieder dorthin zurückkehren!
Awful customer service
Awful customer service, they have changed the formula to the soft cream and it’s given me a rash, they told me I can return it and they will refund it, when I sent it back next day delivery, they said they will only offer me an exchange instead due to me not having a receipt which I told them I didn’t have before returning it. It’s like there playing a sick game with me, I call them and they hang up. I have spoken with Katie, Chloe, Laura and none of them have given me a reasonable explanation, all they say is they are not in a position to answer my query.

Very bad customer service when I purchased in the US! I asked for return tags, two of the customer services people emailed me back said they were going to send them through another email. But I got none. Not respect for the customer or listen to the customer. I really wish this company should take it seriously, losing a long term customer would end up deeply hurt their business.
