Safe hands
I used to visit Raxworthy who were taken over by Leightons in 2020, since then I’ve had yearly eye tests and have always found them to be highly professional, extremely thorough and friendly. There are cheaper opticians on the high street but I’ve never found a reason to visit them when I’m getting the best service possible.

Very friendly, welcoming, efficient team. I was told on the day how my sight test went and any changes to my sight.
Told me the benefits of the care plan which gives discounts on glasses and contact lenses.

Anyone who entered was seen immediately by a member of staff to find out what they wanted. Staff were helpful & friendly. I came for eye test. Otometrist was running about half hour late. This did not greatly inconvenience me. Whole test procedure extensive, thorough & professional. Some delay at the end logging on to internal system. Not the fault of staff member

Excellent service and you do not feel pressured or hurried when choosing glasses. The optician is very efficient and there was no rushing when she carried out the necessary tests.

After many problems in recent past when hearing aids were not performing as they should, Phonak has finally deliver a sort of Best Of when everything works as it should without permanently disconnecting as was still the case 18 months back. In this respect, I must celebrate Senior Audiologist Miles Cowler incredible patience with my difficult self as well as displaying a wealth of knowledge that not many of his peers can display!
