Great service!
I popped in for a minor repair on glasses bought elsewhere, they’ve closed, and was helped by Kevin. Although they were short staffed, Kevin was polite, efficient and knowledgeable. Fixed my glasses in a jiffy! Highly recommend.

I have been with Leightons for many years. I’ve always received a premium service, in a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. It is never rushed, always put the customer first. I would recommend.

Elenor O' Nyons is a true professional .It was quite difficult to remove the wax from my ear but she managed to do so.I have used the services of other companies in Reading and they don't compare.

Beware….
Second time going to Leightons for wax removal. First appointment was almost 3 years with good explanation of procedure, shown camera photos followed by “free quick hearing test” as per the website. This time all I got was the wax removal completed in a few minutes and out the door with no offer of the quick free hearing.
Exactly the same happened to my husband the following week so this was not a one off.
I sent an email to Leightons and was telephoned saying I could book a free hearing test. I declined this as can get this done nearer home.
It seems you are treated differently on your second appointment with reduced customer service. £70 is a lot of money and I know it’s the going rate but ultimately a disappointing experience.

We sincerely apologise for the inconsistency you and your husband experienced, particularly regarding the explanation of the procedure and the offer of the complimentary hearing check, which should have been clearly communicated. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, whether it is a first or subsequent appointment.

First visit to Leightons and was very impressed !
First time I’ve visited Leightons and I have to say I was impressed. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly and in particular I have to commend Elenor who did my ear wax removal and hearing test. She was extremely personable, easy to talk to and took the time to explain everything clearly and fully. I would highly recommend Leightons for anyone looking for hearing care.

Popped into the Reading branch to see if they could help with my husband's new sunglasses which were too tight. Lovely looking shop and very helpful, friendly staff. Kevin took great care and time to ensure they were adjusted to a comfortable fit. So impressed we'll be having our eyetests there in future!
