I'm now at week 6 of daily attempts to…

I'm now at week 6 of daily attempts to book am appointment for high blood pressure.
A shambolic system designed but failing, to prop up a shambolic nhs system.
The country is screwed if this is the level of access we now have to GP services.
Absolutely disgusting.

I have used Livi several times

I have used Livi several times. So this time it was for advice regarding a recurring condition. Very helpful and good advice. I would definitely recommend. If they think you need face to face, bloods etc they will recommend that and refer you to your GP.

Great service

Great service. Got a call the following day on a BH Monday. Problem diagnosed and i was able to pick up a prescription the next day from my nearest Pharmacy.

Very good

Very good , saved me a trip , and it was on time , if your not feeling well , why go out? Little disappointed the appointment wasn't sooner? But that's being picky , as if I booked through my surgery , it would of been over a week, before I saw anyone. It's the 2nd time I have used it , works great.

No prescription due to IT issues at GP surgery

My GP had not been able to send a prescription to chemists as their IT system was down in the morning when I turned up at 9:10am for an emergency GP appointment after spending 4 hours at A&E that had an estimated 11nhour wait. I was aware that I needed the drug by the end of that same day so I went to my chemists around 4pm and asked if the GP surgery has been able to send it across. There was nothing. So I rang the surgery. The admin lady was great and said she'd put an urgent screen message out for any GP to prescribe the meds and I was to wait at the chemists and keep checking (chemists were closing at 5:30pm) at 5pm there was nothing from GP. So i found the LIVI app on my phone and made a GP appt immediately and withing 5 minutes I was speaking to Dr Li. She had all my notes inc my aborted trip to A&E at 4am and then going directly to the GP surgery for an emergency GP appointment. Dr Li via the LIVI app was thorough and understood the situation, she asked me to show her various things I could and couldn't do with my arm and hand and asked all the diagnostic questions to ascertain that it was indeed acute nerve pain. She prescribed me the codeine & paracetamol combo I needed and also Amitriptyline so I could get some sleep as it was intermittently eliciting excruciating pain over night. So within minutes the LIVI prescription was sent to the chemists I was waiting in and I got the drugs I needed. This service was amazing. It basically made my life that bit easier to deal with ! Thank you Dr Cheung Li and LIVI and also my GP surgery Shirley Health Partnership because without my ability to get a GP appt that morning I would have been waiting in A&E for 11 hours until I'd have seen a doctor.

The app was very good

The app was very good, the service is superb. Dr. called me in the designated time window and she was superb. She arranged a blood test and also arranged for medication to be sorted out. Can’t fault the Livi service at all. Thank you Livi.

Paying for a service worse than the NHS

Paying for a service worse than the NHS. Based on the Vitality GP APP (which Livi runs) I suspect they are using cast off NHS tech. Hours of trying to speak to GP and just get messages telling me my internet is the problem (speed test say I have over 200MB and robust connection). The APP and website just take you in circles asking you to login to each other

Well-worth using Livi as a first port of call.

My appointment was only about 5 minutes late, and I received a notification and apology from Livi in the meantime. The doctor I spoke to was very pleasant, she listened carefully, asked relevant questions, and gave me a diagnosis. A prescription was issued straight away, and I felt the whole experience had been positive.
I would recommend anyone to use Livi first, instead of trying to access their own GP, because you get a quicker appointment, and also you do not have to risk picking-up additional germs etc. from confined waiting-rooms. Plus, you don't spread your own germs!

Excellent service

My GP practice seems to not deal with anything anymore other than online which in turn gets you to go somewhere else online & on this occasion it was to Livi. It was an extremely positive experience. The GP was dead on time, really listened to me & at no point made me feel hurried. I was very happy with the suggested treatment of blood tests & will be following up with me when the results come in. Needless to say I’m now waiting for my actual GP practice to offer me an appointment. Won’t be holding my breath!
