Cowboy Company - Please, please, please avoid. They are extremely dismissive, rude and unhelpful. They are the slowest company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Do not answer emails, phone calls etc. Absolutely rubbish and am having to take then to court to get my money back!

Used London Building Control for my two story extension and permitted development works, can’t recommend them enough! I was site manager and I’m not experienced but have a little knowledge, every inspection was done promptly and with no fuss. Advice was happily given when I needed it by Pat Batchelor. Pat has many years experience in the field and was an absolute treasure to have on this build, never complicating anything, making it easy and straightforward. It was actually cheaper than going through my local council, an added bonus. Don’t go elsewhere.

We worked with London Building Control on a residential extension in London (East Sheen) and would recommend. In particular Martyn Janzemin was excellent and a real pleasure to work with. He was super responsive and reliable; for example he dealt swiftly and effectively with any issues or questions that came up during the process. His responsive and helpful approach took the pressure off the building control part of the project. We also enjoyed working with Adam L'Aimable who likewise was reliable, helpful and responsive in resolving issues that came up and demonstrated a common sense approach. I would work with them on my next project.

We've used London Building Control now for two years for both plan checking and inspecting the building works. The design checking service provided by Phil Marsh and Jerry Elliott is first class, with comments coming back quickly and concisely. The inspection service is also brilliant, with the same surveyors - namely Gordon Stagg and Stuart Robertson - on each job. Every surveyor is very helpful and approachable.

I found London Building controls application process very easy and accommodating. I have completed various project through them and would highly recommend them for their reliability, professionalism and knowledge.
