Just payed £5 to play instant win game....app cut me off before play. I thought it couldn't happen twice so I tried to play a £3 game, also cut me off before play. Both times took the money, ended game before it began and no recourse to complaint at this hour. As if I'm going to have time tomorrow to chase this up. Everything else is automated, or can at least leave message, why is it when you want to make a complaint you have to go out of your way? (With any business, not just national lottery)

I would like to start by saying this about parent company that has the contract for Irish lotto at the moment La Française des Jeux they are refusing to pay out on bets I did on Chelsea V Liverpool game, my winnings came to 546.95, I don't believe any company who acts in this manner bringing there company’s into disrepute should be allowed to operate big contracts like the Irish Lotto.

The app does not work. Tried the website, equally frustrating.

This new company that took over the lotto lied to the British people saying they will reduce ticket prices when they took over last year and then made excuses about why they could not lower the price. Now been over a year and nothing. I am glad there sales are down and I hope every years sales are down and keep going down that is why I have stopped playing the lotto since Allwyn lied promising to be fair and made it cheaper to buy tickets. Just look at the reviews 1.2 stars great job this new company is doing running the Lotto.

Just gave feedback to an advert they are running on the radio and wondered what they would say.
The answer is nothing , despite at least Three reminders , disgraceful for such a well known and major media outlet .
Basic manners should be a gimme for a company this big....

What an absolute disgrace this so called company is. I don't have a problem with companies making money but,I do when all they are doing is ripping everyone off. Like so many others I have spent a fortune on instant win games but sadly won nothing so, here's another person closing my account. Very cheesed off with the lot of them. 🤬🤬

Avoid to play with this scam company. Especially instant online scratch cards... Have just played a certain game (power Puck) at £5 per time 19 times!!! ( more fool me)... And got zero in return!!! Zero. Wanted to email them to express my concerns... Email is not recognised!! No chat available.. No agents available.
Utter scam. No one even knows where our lottery purchase is going as its changed hands so many times.
My advice... Do not encourage this scam company.

Evert tried to complaining to these cowboys? I have but I have never had a response. Gambling limits go up and down. How did they ever get the contract?

I’ve been wasting money on the lottery for years without very much to show for it. I don’t spend a fortune, just the odd ticket if I remember on a reasonable sized jackpot.
It’s called National lottery, but why are other nations/organisations benefiting. How about UK First! Have it run by a Uk company..,.,..not Canadian Teachers pension fund or Polish billionaires who run gambling companies. Seems this is just a big cash cow for foreign investors.
The odds of winning are so low it’s laughable. Christmas and New year was always fun with big jackpots on offer, but virtually nothing advertised with so little enthusiasm in 2024. I guess they can’t be arsed because the income must be huge when virtually nobody wins, and the rollover increases are paltry, even on the super draws when lots of people take part.
Please can someone investigate these companies and they be thoroughly checked to see they are doing what is expected.
Very rare I even get 1 number since they’ve taken over, and they have both days automatically selected for play online now, when previously you chose for yourself. It’s not very obvious the new tactic means you could end up getting more tickets by mistake.
I wonder who gives these companies the contract, and how considering they aren’t doing a very good job - other than for themselves.
How about it’s run and owned by Uk citizens, to benefit us and the charities here. It would be interesting to see how much this company is raking in v paying out.🤔 and in some cases, I’ve read winners are having to jump through so many hoops or wait ages for winnings. Never heard that with Scamalot.

Who ever leads the prize money allocation should resign .
The lottery is literally a lottery .
I spend £1000 per annum.
This last year I’ve had a return of £63.90 it’s a joke .
The fact that someone can be gifted over £100 Million is sad when there should be a cap to make more draws on the night which broadens the amount of people becoming fortunate.
The lottery should be reformed due to hardship all over the UK .
What they should implement is that once it reaches for example £10 million and a roll over then they should make more draws to make more people rewarded with less numbers to rely on there ticket and end being being a skimpy winner .

I was under the impression that the new company running the National Lottery were promising real changes to the games and entry costs. To date nothing at all seems to have been done. For this reason I'm not going to waste my money any longer where the odds of winning anything at all are stacked massively against you. I will probably play again if games go back to how they were when the Lottery was first introduced and was £1 a go.

I finally won a decent win of £140 on the lotto, then the problems started trying to claim??? Aldi the store of purchase will not pay over £100. Tried post office x3 they no longer have anything to do with the lottery?.
Supermarkets should display a sign stating what they will only pay-out?? quick enough at taking your money.
So i went online to contact lottery direct!! you have to send your ticket by post with other information.
I will no longer play the lottery and maybe if enough people take this stand they might treat customers better when it comes to paying out????. 0/5

Customer service team helpfull, but app is horrendous keeps on shutting me out, you buy in good faith and then can't access online., doesn't matter what device you use and where. Also when you input your location, it tells you that you are not resident in Ireland, even when you have submitted legal documents and proof of I D. Weird.

Been scammed played 25mill boost game £5 a go played twice lost first time second go exactly the same numbers came out definitely rigged any suggestions on what to do next
