The service I had from Macbook Repairs / e-fix was excellent, from my initial contact through to the return of my Macbook. I needed a screen replacement and was promised a 7 day turnround. When my laptop was received, Reece advised me that it would be worth getting the battery replaced since it was down to 77% efficiency. This was accomplished within the time frame quoted. I would recommend e-fix to anyone who has a Macbook needing repair.

I had a MacBook Pro 2019 with a flickering touch bar. I first took it to the Apple Store, and they told me that since the touch bar is connected to the main board, the only way to fix it was to replace the entire logic board, or they could disable the touch bar so I could still use the laptop. I went for the second option and kept using it without the touch bar.

After about two weeks, the MacBook suddenly started having kernel panics and crashing constantly. I went back to the Apple Store again, and this time they said the whole logic board was gone and again quoted me around £800 to replace it. It didn’t make sense to spend that much, so I decided to look elsewhere.

Then I found UK MacBook Repairs, and I’m so glad I did. I explained everything, sent my laptop in, and they quickly discovered that the issue wasn’t actually the logic board at all, it was related to the touch bar and trackpad connection. They repaired it properly for around £250–£300, and my MacBook has been running perfectly ever since, it’s been more than a year now with zero problems.

These guys are honest, professional, and really know what they’re doing. Apple misdiagnosed the problem twice and wanted to replace the most expensive part unnecessarily, but UK MacBook Repairs found the real cause and fixed it for a fraction of the price. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

The company responded quickly and efficiently. I had an honest review of the problem I had enquired about, clear instructions as to how to send my MacBook and regular updates while they had it. The problem was fixed (as confidently promised) within the week quoted and the machine safely returned - working beautifully! I cannot extol this company enough - the price was reasonable and included postage and insurance both ways. They inspired trust and confidence in their abilities!

My MacBook logic board needed replacing. After taking it to Apple and a few other shops, I found eFix on Google and was impressed by the reviews.

I contacted them for a quote and received one in 24 hours. Once I was happy with the quote, a box was sent to me, again within 24 hours.

The team kept in constant communication with me throughout the process.

My MacBook has now been returned to me fully fixed and in perfect condition. The surprise sweets were also an added bonus :)

I can’t recommend these guys enough! Apple quoted me an extortionate amount just for the water damage, but when I sent my Mac here they gave it a thorough look over and kept me updated with fab communication the whole way through. They explained that along with the water damage, the screen was also faulty — and still charged me only a third of what Apple wanted just for the water damage alone. Both issues were fixed, and my Mac came back working as good as new. Excellent service, honest advice, and amazing value!.
