I completely agree with all the feedback this company has received. The communication has been first class and the repair was done quickly and at a fraction of the cost that Apple wanted to charge. Reece explained everything clearly and kept me updated at every stage. I will definitely be recommending eFix.

eFix Ltd's excellent Trustpilot rating and reviews, and its own website persuaded me to send my MacBook Air to them for a replacement screen, rather than to Apple (which I'd considered to be the "safer option"). I'm very happy that I went with eFix Ltd. They do not apply a diagnostic fee and trust their customers to know what a cracked screen looks like. The £280 fee for their excellent service (including secure postage and a couriered return) is bordering on generous. Communications were prompt and clear throughout. I was particularly impressed with the care that has obviously been taken with their guidance on packing a laptop for shipping to them. I should also mention that the repair was carried out and my laptop returned to me in just five working days. I'm not planning on cracking my MacBook's screen again, but if I do, I'd have no hesitation in entrusting eFix Ltd with its repair. They've been a real pleasure to deal with throughout, have saved me a chunk of money, and even threw in some sweets. A truly outstanding service.

First Class service received. Had an old MacBook pro with a few issues and these guys diagnosed and repair ed quickly and kept me informed throughout. they were refreshingly honest and cost less than was expecting :-0)

Great communication right from the get go. Prices clearly explained and reasonable. They took the faff out of dispatching by emailing a pre paid tracker postage label. When things required a bit of extra work they costed up and explained why. If the MacBook was unrepairable they would only charge you the diagnostics and would send back . They gave free moam chews aswell - nice touch . Polite and professional, my 2015 MacBook runs like new again and still no requirement for me to by the latest MacBook . (For info wine was spilt on MacBook )

This repair shop is light years better than any other I’ve experienced - not something I say lightly. Communication was detailed, swift and unprompted, costs were very reasonable and I received my newly functioning laptop back exactly one week after having sent it.

They even provided a detailed document for my insurance claim within the same day I asked for it! Truly exceptional service and I am so grateful.

My second time using this company and they are amazing, excellent, they have never let me down, very good customer service, they explained what I have to do on the phone, and Reece would regularly email me keeping me informed and it is free postage to send the Macbook to Peterborough, and another good thing is you pay them after the repair has been completed which is nice and convenient as well. I first used them in like 2022 to repair a damaged screen and I was happy with the work. 3 years later I had to use them again, as my laptop had liquid damage from a hair product of mine into the macbook and it had delayed failure and would not turn on for 3 months, the cables in the laptop were corroded and burnt, and they repaired it without having to erase any data from the laptop,all the data and pictures and uni work was all still on the Mac, I was hoping I wouldnt loose anything a lot of computer repair shops erase the laptop, but efix ltd are amazing and everything is still there. I tried to fix it locally in London but to no avail nowhere could fix it, and Apple store wont fix it as it is an old model (2017 model), so I decided it was probably best for me to use eFix ltd again, and I am so glad I did , if I did not use eFixltf my macbook would not be working right now. I have had this laptop since 2017 it was a birthday present from dad, and I love this laptop I did not want to loose it I have a lot of memories on it, my parents are also happy with the work they have done, eFixltd have saved my laptop again. I think efx ltd are amazing and they even send you sweets with the macbook they did this in 2022 too :) and next day shipping of the Mac too. Deffo the best place to go for a Macbook repair, that is their speciality they are absoloute experts I honestly could not be happier with their work!

Great customer service. Friendly and helpful, told me what exactly required repair and what was not so important, didn't push for big repairs. Got the repair completed quickly and sent back in a timely way.

A couple of months ago the screen of my 2016 MacBook Pro 15" stopped working when fully open. I could tell the screen was still functioning as the display stayed on, as long as I kept the lid angle under about 30 degrees.

After some research, I realised it was the well-known Flexgate issue affecting many MacBooks like mine, where the backlight cable in the screen original assembly was slightly too short, eventually fracturing after years of opening and closing.

I started looking for a trusted service that could fix this issue and found a couple of reviews of other happy customers who had experienced the same problem and had great results with MacBook-Repairs. I decided to send my computer and I am so glad I did. My Laptop came back with a fully working screen, just like new!

While they had my laptop they ran some tests and realised my battery was due for replacement. They contacted me, offered the service at a discounted rate, and took care of it alongside the screen repair. The whole repair, including delivery, took the stated 7 days. The return delivery was prompt, and my MacBook was very securely packaged.

I couldn't be happier with the service I received and will definitely turn to them again if I ever need repairs in the future.

Found them after panic searching for a Macbook fixing service following a coffee spill. I was very dubious but they're real and I'd definitely use them again!

Very responsive on the phone, kept me informed throughout, explained things clearly and answered all my questions. There's also the added bonus that they don't wipe out your data!!

Really great experience with eFix. My display suddenly stopped working while using my MacBook Pro. Took it to the authorised Apple shop nearest to me. I was initially told it would require a display replacement which would cost over £700. Very expensive but I didn't know what else to do so I told them to proceed only to be informed later that a new display didn't fix it and it would need a logic board replacement and in the process I would lose all my date. At this point I decided to retrieve my laptop and check if I had other options and that's how I found eFix.

From start to finish it all went very well. I contacted them on a Thursday morning, got the label that morning and sent off my device in the afternoon. Reece confirmed they received it safely on Friday. The following Monday I got an update where they had identified the issue, provided a cost estimate and asked if they should proceed. I confirmed it was fine to do so. On Tuesday they got back to me to let me know the work was successful and after payment my device was mailed back to me. I got it back on Thursday morning exactly one week after I first made contact. I really appreciate the communication; quick resolution and most of all the pricing - it cost £280 in the end. As a bonus, they gave my Mac a good clean and also included some sweets in the box :-)

Remarkably fast and efficient service. It was a fraction of the price of having a new logic board installed by Apple. I contemplated buying a new logic board myself and trying to install it. In the meantime the laptop sat in a cupboard for several months until I discovered eFix.

Really smooth process from start to finish. Was updated at every stage of the process. Shipping was really easy, turnaround was brilliant, arrived back to me when they told me it would. Works a treat. Absolutely cannot fault any of it. Would absolutely use again and recommend to anyone.

I’ve never been so happy to write a review. I took my MacBook Pro to Apple, and instead of diagnosing it properly, they just gave an unclear list of possible issues with an unreasonably high quote.
I found eFix online, and the whole process was seamless. From the moment they received my device, communication was excellent, pricing was fair, and I was only asked to pay after it was fixed. I’m so happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

Very professional and honest. This is the second time I am using their service.
My macbook was not turning on, so I went to Apple store. I was told that it was completely dead and would cost be about £500-£600 for repair. Sent my macbook to Reece at eFix- he messaged me back saying that my computer was working fine and just needed to change my charger cable. Absolutely pleased with the service and his honesty.

Macbook A1707 with fluxgate issue.
Once I confirmed how eFix resolve the issue, by extending the cable rather than just replacing it, I booked a repair.
Booked on 30th June, but not sent by me for few days as needed to print label.
Packaged and sent, kept up to date about safe arrival, and when being repaired mention of a hairline crack in the touchpad, that cosmetic at this time so left as is, partly as I use a mouse and external keyboard generally.
Received back 10th July, so within timeframe given.
For £200, which is £400 cheaper than quoted by Apple, who wanted to replace the screen, it's a no brainer, many thanks for a job well done.
