Mariner Finance, LLC (“Mariner”) and/or WebBank, as applicable, (collectively “Lender,” “we,” or “us,” as applicable) offers personal loans from $1,000 to $25,000, with minimum and maximum amounts dependent on the underwriting of the loan and subject to applicant’s satisfaction of eligibility requirements and approval by Lender, and an applicant’s state of residence for Mariner-originated loans. Terms and conditions apply.
†Online loans between $1,500 and $14,000, originated by WebBank, except online loans in CA and MD originated by Mariner Finance, LLC. Loans greater than $14,000 or less than $1,500 may be originated by Mariner through Mariner’s branch network. Any stated APR represents the cost of credit as an estimated yearly rate, and each applicant’s specific interest rates and fees are determined as permitted under federal or state law (as applicable) based upon loan amount, term, the applicant’s ability to meet specific credit criteria including, but not limited to, credit history at the time of application, income, debt payment obligations, and other factors such as availability of collateral, and state of residency for Mariner-originated loans. Not all applicants will qualify for the lowest rates or larger loan amounts, which may require a first lien on a motor vehicle not more than ten years old titled in the applicant’s name with valid insurance. Any loan by phone and/or online closing process requires a compatible mobile or computer device on which you can access your email and electronic documents. Not all loan types are eligible for loan by phone or online loan closing.
*The process uses a “soft” credit inquiry to determine whether a loan offer is available, which does not impact your credit score. If you continue with the application process online and accept a loan offer, or are referred to a branch and continue your application there, we will pull your credit report and credit score again using a “hard” credit inquiry. This “hard” credit inquiry may impact your credit score.
**Mariner Finance’s 15-Day Satisfaction Guarantee provides that if, for any reason, you inform us that you are dissatisfied with your loan and you repay it in full within 15 days of the date of the loan in the form of cash or certified funds, all finance charges will be waived with no penalties. A cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan will not impact, affect, and/or cancel the terms of any purchase of a vehicle or other item(s) with the proceeds of your loan. Additionally, your return to the dealer or seller of any vehicle or other item(s) purchased with your loan proceeds will not constitute a cancellation of your Mariner Finance loan.

Worst Loan Experience I have Ever Had- Deliberate lack of communication by lender
We received a loan for a home water system that was to be financed interest free if paid off over the 24 month period. I made automatic payments of $200 from our bank account, but did the math incorrectly and thus did not pay the financed amount by the 24 month period. In addition, the Welcome Letter that we received from Mariner,( sent 2 weeks after we signed the 6 pg loan) included as it's Headings: Acct No. __; Payment Due Date 11/22/2024; Current Balance __: AND PAYMENT AMOUNT $146- which is less than the $200 monthly I paid and WELL UNDER the $245 needed to pay off the entire balance in 24 mos. We received no correspondence via mail (the company states that it is a "paperless" company but continues to mail junk mail inviting us to apply for more credit) OR EMAIL , on the account profile, with any account updates. The branch rep said that she called my husband (loan holder) and left a message to call her- this call was a month before the interest free payment was due but contained no content other than "please call Mariner Finance". We would NEVER have financed this with paying 16.9% interest.-and I feel that the lack of communication was deliberate and intentional so as to trigger the interest payments. I have never had such a poor experience with a lender. I would absolutely never use Mariner again. I paid off the loan balance today and my account history is deleted from my Mariner account. I don't even have a digital record now of payments and the amount of total interest I paid. Again, very anti-consumer.

Discriminated Against
Ì was given loan options with payments. I accepted the one I would be able to pay back without any issues. I done all the paperwork. They come back and say they can't give me the loan because I'm on short term disability due to having surgery. But I have a steady check and will be going back to work in a couple months. I feel like i was discriminated against because of my disability even though I have steady income.

We went to the Calhoun, Georgia location to extend a loan and change it over to my name first then my Husbands second and April and her staff was so friendly and helpful and worked with us until the end . I would recommend anyone going to see them just want to let you know you have an office full of Jems .

No rest no peace
No rest no peace. They send texts before due date and call you every day your late even after saying you have a grace period. They can't even print you a receipt if you go to the building and pay cash. They don't have change either so bring correct change. Good luck. Do not try. You have been warned

They even offer and auto plan package. Very necessary.
