Having struggled to find any suppliers of fire rated cedar shingles with stock for some weeks I contacted Area sales rep Natalie Allison. She responded straightaway, put me in touch with a supplier and followed up with both the supplier and myself. Similarly she was very responsive with dealing with any technical queries without any delay and has made great effort to bring forward the lead in time. Very impressed!

I had sent an order to the office for some tiles to be delivered within the 12 week window (at time of ordering) which was due to be delivered w/c 4th Jan 2022 on the lead time basis. I did not see the order on my Marley account so I chased it after a week only to be informed the office were behind on processing orders. I got my order confirmation a week later saying the stock was due end of February. This would not work for my cusotmer so I email Hannah Smith my customer service advisor to see if there was anything that could be done so I would not have to cancel the order and send the customer elsewhere. Hannah advised she would keep an eye on it for me and update me if possible. I followed this up early December to see if there was any improvement and Hannah advised there may be a chance as production were making good progress but she advised its unlikey to be before the end of December. Hannah then advised she would update me in the new year. I planned to call at the end of the w/c 4/1/22 to see what the update was but Hannah emailed me this morning confirming the delviery date had been improved to the middle of January. I was impressed with how well Hannah kept on top of the order and updated me accordingly. Having someone like this at Marley makes my job that little bit easier.

A great product which has been used on many projects for 4-5 years backed up by a knowledgeable and resourceful team. It ticks many boxes for us including design, performance, sustainability and cost.

I spoke to a lady at Marley about some tile samples so as to match my roof for an extension the lady was very very helpful and also i needed a Catalogue .She took every thing down and the next day i had the tile samples buy lunch time what a service that is i choose the tile i wanted and have ordered them through a roofing firm the catalogue came a day later

With the current supply issues for tiles I have had great difficulty sourcing Marley tiles. Chris, the South Wale representative, has been fantastic and combed the country to find me exactly what I wanted. The response times and overall level of customer service has been excellent.

I wrote a glowing review after difficulties which I had regarding delivery of roof tiles and Julie White helped me. New delivery date was advised of 23-28 September. The latest advice when Marley were contacted today is possibly 29-30 September. I'm losing all confidence in Marley and although I appreciate the difficulties with transport, etc, this is extremely disappointing given I have had scaffolding up at the front and rear of the property in anticipation of the original date of 14-16 September, which was then moved to 5-7 October, which was when I contacted Julie White who had sent me out the samples of tiles. Not a good experience which I hope someone from Marley reads and tries to confirm when the roof tiles will actually arrive!

After receiving samples of “Acme” cross cambered clay plain tiles back in February 2021 and followed by a catch up call from a Julie White at Marley, fast forward to this September. Planning done, materials including 8 pallets of the superb Marley plain ‘acme’ tile in dark brindle for our house, even our roofer is impressed, in fact we are so impressed, we have changed the tile plan for the detached garaged and ordered a further 2600 ‘acme’ tiles. Unfortunately our builders/merchant was finding it difficult to both source and obtain stock info, as demand is currently high for all building materials and logistics thrown in the mix.
At this point, I decided to contact Julie White at Marley, explaining the picture and our current situation. Julie was fantastic, as this is not Julie’s specific area, she took the fine detail and as promised she rang me back, the result; Julie confirmed stock level for our requirements, set out a basic order, internally sent email to relevant sale department, and advised me on how to arrange pick up via our local builders/merchant, looking forward to receiving the second order of ‘’Acme‘’ tiles for the garage roof.
Julie did all this within a few hours, so a big cheer for Julie and to Marley for a superb product and great service.

As a reasonably competent DIYer, I decided to fit the roof of an extension myself (I do question my decisions at times).

I wanted the roof of the extension to tie into the existing hip roof, for aethethics and to ensure the extension was in keeping with the original building. I used Marley Ludlow tiles, as per original roof and the Marley Universal ridge fast and dry hip system.

Prior to fitting, I contacted Marley with a query and Jamie was incredibly helpful, sending me additional literature and providing advice. When I connected the upper hip to the new ridge, I contacted Marley again and spoke to Tom. As a non-standard junction, there was no guidance available, however I forwarded photos to Tom and he reviewed in the installation with me over the phone, confirming different elements had been incorporated into the installation (they had and more s) and provided reassurance.

The Marley products have been great and more importantly, the technical support is second to none. Would I attempt fitting a roof again? I'm probably crazy enough. Would I use Marley again? Absolutely!!! (I think I will wait until building materials are more easily available though!)

I requested a few samples and was happy to pay. I was told that it was a free service and each sample arrived professionally packed and in excellent packaging. I was amazed.
