Good install, but misunderstanding and appalling lack of communication between Marvel and there subcontractor meant we were unable to access the application for my heat pump. I also paid for an extra item and it wasnt fitted which was £300 and they were reluctant to give the money back and tried to say that I hadn't charged me for the part and then tried to pay me less than I paid for it. Do I recommend them, Yes and No, I would have recommended them without reservation before, but now I am not sure. They are installing my Daughters heat pump next week, this is a chance to redeem themselves. One thing that really annoys me is when they use a subcontractor and blame the Subcontractor, I have a contract with Marvel not there subcontractor, so if things go wrong Marvel are to blame. Update. My daughter install, is half completed. Wrong radiators delivered so only the downstairs done. At least the system works, rebooked to fit the correct radiators, radiators did not arrive another wasted date. They blame everyone but themselves. Marvel are to blame and they should take responsibility. Reply your not helping, you offer us the promotion price because you didn't want too lose the installation, this has nothing to do with trying to be nice, nice would have been ringing or emailing me and saying the price has dropped we are going to reduce your install costs. I rung you about my daughter and laid out the terms, you matched the price of the quote she had and it was done ASAP, you could have just said no, but you wanted the business and you accepted those terms. Your sales person tried lying when you didn't fit the I'boost and didn't paint the company in a good light. When speak to "K" in your office, he blames everyone else, rather than apologise for the issues. I agree I will put it back to 3 stars because the installation was good, sort out your customer service - that's letting you down, work from the stand point the customer is right and then you would deserve 5 stars. I was hoping to do more referrals and business with you, but we will see, what happens with finishing my Daughters install.I cancelled my install couple days later, which I had a right to under law and you contract, your staff offered it at the new price.

I had our final pre-installation survey today for our Air Source Heat Pump with Marvel Heating & Renewable Energy Ltd, and I wanted to specifically mention how excellent their surveyor, Jack, was throughout the visit.

Jack was extremely professional, thorough, polite, courteous, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to carefully explain all the planned changes in a way that was easy to understand, discussed the available options with us for any required changes, and provided clear, honest advice throughout.

He also reviewed the installation dates and went through all of the final paperwork in detail, patiently answering every question I had. At no point did anything feel rushed, and I really appreciated the time and care he took to make sure we fully understood everything.

A genuinely positive experience and great customer service from start to finish. We’re now feeling very confident ahead of the installation.

We had an air heat source pump and new cylinder installed at the end of March.
They changed most of the radiators
Very happy with the system so far. The installation went very well and took less than 3 days. Had some teething issues which were sorted out quickly. The team of installers were great and tided up after with little mess.
All the rubbish was removed a few days later.
Would recommend.

Marvel did a great job designing and installing my heat pump system. Paul, Matt and Owen did a great job installing the equipment. They worked fast and efficiently and left the place clean and tidy.

I would recommend them to anyone looking to switch to a heat pump.

Recently had Marvel install Mitsubishi Ecodan with 10 new radiators, we asked for a resite of 2 which was no problem for the plumbers. Total of 3 days install after the job unexpectedly turned into a full re-pipe. We were pleased with the finished result and the clean up from the plumbers. On Day 1 & 2 Reece and Ellis provided a professional service and going the extra mile to explain what they were doing and what the system needed, on day 3 they brought in Morgan and Harley to help tackle to unexpected re-pipe to ensure we had the heating installation completed before the weekend, they were equally as professional as Reece and Ellis. My overall experience with this company has been very positive with thanks to this team who installed our system.

The installation of our Mitsubishi ASHP took just 3 days and this was a substantial installation - 3 new radiators and 11 swaps, plus a completely new unvented hot water cylinder. Sure, it was a bit messy at times, and I think they should have been a little more aware of the need for the protection of the flooring since there was a lot of traffic in and out of the house. That said, the guys were really good to have around, very pleasant and effective and no lasting damage was done! I was very impressed with the way they accommodated all my requests and concerns regarding the placement of radiators and prep work for future changes I have planned for the bathroom showers. All in all, a very positive experience.
As for the system itself, all seems to be well and impressive.

Fantastic experience thank you for the installation of this Mitsubishi R290 Heat Pump & Radiators. The cylinder was fitted into the airing cupboard & much of the controls & header tanks into the loft. Thanks to Paul & Matt for their efforts. The team fitted the Heat pump above the garage so nicely out of the way. The plan was two days and finished on time with all the waste collected next couple of days sorted & removed then they swept up to clear the front drive. Scaffolding was removed by the contractors and this was down in 15mins great job guys. Thanks for the support special shout out to Adam for their efforts with electrical decommissioning & saving a tiling job, nice touch. Highly recommend great team effort.

Marvel installed me a heat pump system around 18 months ago. Marvel sorted out all the paperwork to apply for the government grant towards it. That made it nice and straight forward and easy. The installation team truned up when they said they would, were professional, did a good job and left things clean and tidy at the end of the job. I've had a couple of minor issues since installation. Both times Marvel sent an engineer straight away to resolve without any quibbles. Overall positive experience and would definitely recommend.

I've used Marvel Heating & Renewables three times now (solar and battery in March 2024, another battery in December 2024, and an ASHP with more batteries in July 2025). You don't use a company three times unless they are doing a good job!

The good stuff:
- Great prices: Always really competitive quotes.
- Pragmatic installers: Other companies insisted on putting scaffolding up in my neighbour's garden just to get solar on the garage roof. Marvel just figured out a way to do it safely with ladders. Massive relief.
- Customer service: Spot on. Kev in particular is always quick to reply and sorts things out.

Room for improvement:
- Scheduling: They are clearly a busy company and things can get a bit chaotic behind the scenes, so we did have a few rearranged appointments.
- Planning the layout: During the ASHP install, the internal pumps were put next to the existing water cylinder, which is right by the bedrooms. I heat my water at night and the pumps are quite noisy. I really wish they'd anticipated this during the initial walkthrough and suggested putting the pumps in the utility room instead.

Overall, I'm really happy with the work and would definitely recommend them to anyone – just make sure you double-check where your pumps are going!

Upgrade from 30+ year old gravity fed boiler to Heatpump and full re-pipe.

Very happy with my decision to go with Marvel heating. I'm the type of person that does a ridiculous amount of research before the smallest of purchases.
So after my research and finally deciding on a heat pump? I knew the most important thing was to select a good installer. I was torn between Heat geeks and Marvel.
I was put off with Heat geeks reviews and cost so decided to go with Marvel.
From the start of the process to end I must say I'm very satisfied. The installers that came were fantastic too. They worked very fast? Kept their work clean and explained their work etc. We've had a lot of work done on our house in the last few months but the engineers, Morgan and Ellis were the best tradies we have had round.

Our house is now even warmer than it was before. We have instant hot water and the pumps noise is barely noticeable.

We are very happy!

Darius installed my heat pump and did an excellent job. He was professional, punctual, and very detail-oriented. Everything was completed to a high standard and he explained everything clearly. I recommend it with confidence!

We have had an air source heat pump installed by Darius and Joe and the team and goodness do they work hard. They have changed radiators and installed a water tank in the attic and it all looks great. Tidied up and gave us advice on how to manage the settings. We are pleased we chose Marvel Heating to do the work and would certainly use them again. We recommend them.

From quote to install the experience was fast , efficient and friendly . I tested the market and I feel I got really good value for money on the amount of solar panel and battery storage capacity. The install went smoothly especially considering it was on an old Victorian house .

The whole process was thorough and well planned from start to finish

The initial visit was straightforward, with no hard sell. The sales guy gave us a ball park estimate and gave a comprehensive explanation of what was needed and how that affected the cost. He organised the independent surveyor’s visit there and then.

The independent surveyor didn't turn up on the expected day due to some communication error, but that problem was rectified immediately and he arrived the next day. We were given a full report that identified where, and why we would need replacement radiators.

Next was the technical survey. Our technician identified a couple of potential problems (hot water tank size, position of new piping etc) but worked very constructively to identify the best option to get round those. All in all, a very positive experience. Remedies didn’t change the original price quoted.

Next came the installation. Again, the installation team were positive, efficient, and due to the technician’s report, they arrived knowing exactly what they needed to do. No surprises, no delays, no issues. Everything completed (on the plumbing/installation side) in a day and a half, and the electrical work done in about 3 hours. They also made sure that the water was turned off for the minimum time, so we could still make them cups of tea.

Issues? 2. First it was made clear that the heat pump delivery would need to be made on a Sprinter-sized van, due to access. It came on a 17 tonne truck which meant the guys had to mess about getting it to the house. Apparently they often get this problem. Second, one of our original radiators had a stuck bleed valve. I’d have appreciated them taking 15 minutes to swap it out while the system was drained, as currently, it’s not bled therefore less efficient than it should be.

All in all though, the whole experience has been excellent. No surprises, no delays, and the Marvel team have been constructive, communicative and easy to deal with.

From the very beginning, Rob, the sales representative, was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions without ever being pushy. I felt fully informed and confident in the decisions being made.

Throughout the whole process, I was consulted at every stage. My opinions were genuinely listened to — especially regarding the location of the heat pump — and this made me feel involved and reassured that the system was being designed around my home and my preferences.

The installation team, Darius and Craig, were simply fantastic. They worked incredibly hard, kept everything clean and tidy, and were respectful of my home at all times. Their workmanship and attitude were first class.

There were one or two minor niggles after installation, but these were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the customer service team, which shows the company stands by its work.

Most importantly, the results have been excellent. My house is now consistently warm throughout, and it’s costing less to run than when we were using gas heating for just a few hours a day.

I would not hesitate to recommend Marvel Heating to anyone considering a heat pump. A thoroughly professional company delivering excellent service from start to finish.

Generally good, with a few issues along the way. Very friendly team. You can tell they're genuinely wanting to help you. Ours was a large job: installation of underfloor heating throughout the property plus an air source heat pump. The sales process was straightforward, informative & clear, with a sales director coming to our house to talk us through our options, explain how it works etc. This was followed by a site visit, once we'd signed up, which was undertaken by engineers who really knew their stuff. We did question whether the pump would be sufficient for our property, and Dwaine and the team insisted that it was. We have now had our first winter with the heat pump & underfloor, and it all appears to be working quite well (after a few small issues with Marvel were swift to resolve). The main negative we have found with Marvel has been communication (which they seem to have resolved since, by hiring some more manpower to head up some of the operational elements). During the course of the time we worked with Marvel, communication was a pain point, as a lot of the comms seemed to bottleneck with Dwaine, Marvel's key decision-maker - clearly a very knowledgeable and busy man. However, I understand they have recruited someone else to manage the operations in those moments where Dwaine is unavailable. Broadly, Marvel offer a good service, with some genuinely great people who work for them. With some improvements to their operational model, reducing bottlenecks, spreading accountability, they could easily be an excellent, category-leading company.
