Staff are pigs in the Blackpool store in Cork city. Unhelpful, abrupt and should no interest in doing their work. Gave girl at the till some change for my goods, counted it out for her but she wasn't interested and double counted it while the line behind me was getting bigger. This isn't the first time I've experienced this lack of interest. It's the only shop in tge area hope some o e else opens another so as I can spend my money there

I have had an excellent experience buying from Maxi Zoo in Ireland. Very fast delivery, good communication. I wish they had an app for regular customers. Otherwise, really happy. I had bad experiences with my previous pet food supplier due to their poor deliveries. Delighted with Maxi Zoo.

I wish I could review my order but it still hasn’t arrived yet. This is the second time in 3 orders that I’m waiting. I ordered something in Germany the day after I placed my order with Maxizoo which is literally no more the a 4 hour drive and I’m still waiting for my Maxizoo order but my delivery from Germany showed up. Maxizoo is definitely making it hard for me to want to spend my money with them. I mean I regularly buy my pet supplies from the as we live far from a pet store that can provide what we need, but at this rate I’m going to start having to order a month ahead just to get it when I need it. When. I used to be able to rely on the quick shipping policy and was very happy with my service, but now I find I’m having to go to the store and buy food for my pets after I already ordered them food.

Absolutely amazing service. Order placed on the Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon was delivered. FOR FREE! Great selection of products also.

Waited till I had paid and left it a bit after to say load of thing were out of stock and it was that close to Christmas I wasn’t able to find them at other places very disappointing in how it was handled

Excellent products at reasonable prices. Delivery can arrive 24 hours after ordering before 12. The website is beautifully done and easy to navigate. I have ordered from them 3 times so far in the last 3 weeks and will continue to buy from here.

I have just received another email stating my order has been cancelled as the items are ‘out of stock’ yet when i go online i have the option to purchase said ‘out of stock’ items. This is my 3rd order since 28.11.2025 that has been cancelled due to items being sold that are not in stock. I now have to wait 5 - 7 days for a refund. I will never purchase another item from this company online.

7th Jan update: after over a month from the original complaint and a number of follow-ups, the replacement arrived today.
I'm extremely disappointed with the way the order was packed and delivered, and my subsequent complaint handled so far.
The bag of dry dog food was delivered open with the food loose in the box, the box was also not sealed properly and the courier spilled the loose food all the way from his van to my door.
I don't know how much food was lost during transport and I wanted the food in the bag for freshness.
I contacted Maxi Zoo Customer Care team and after an initial quick response that a replacement shipment has been organized, I haven't heard back. That response was 2 weeks ago, I followed up twice with no further contact from the shop.

I placed an order on Black Friday. The website stated that delivery would take 1–3 days. A small part of my order arrived only after two weeks, while the main part never came at all. Another week later, I found out through customer support that the filler I ordered was out of stock, and they had no intention of delivering it. On top of that, there’s a delay with the refund. As a result, I’m left without the litter I urgently need for my 2 cats, and without my money. This was my first order — and definitely my last.

So wrote bad review few days ago it still hasn't been resolved fully they redelivered one of missing items however the next missing items haven't been delivered after them reordering it wasn't done for 2 bags of cat litter I requested a refund for them as this is going on since 26 nov! This hasn't been done either as no email confirming it sick of ringing about it now

I placed an order:1528266111 on the 2nd of December specifically because the website clearly states delivery within 1–3 days. I am under time pressure, so this was the deciding factor in choosing to order from Maxizoo. However, it is now Friday the 5th, and the order has still not been dispatched.
Every time I contact customer service, I receive different information. I urgently need this order to arrive by the 10th of December as I will be going on holidays, and at this stage I have no confidence that it will arrive on time.
It is extremely disappointing when companies are not transparent about processing and dispatch times, especially when customers depend on accurate delivery information to make purchasing decisions. I genuinely hope someone can review this issue urgently.

It is a HORRIBLE E-COMMERCE. We ordered some food for our pets, around 500 euros of food, and they took 15 to gives us a position. YES 12 DAYS WITHOUT GIVEN A POSITION about the food. At the first we received a notification informing that some itens of our order "could be partially cancel". The purchase was on the 22/11 and this notification was on the 28/11 (ALREADY AFTER THE 3 DAYS DELIVERY). After that, we contacted the customer service and they informed us that "the order was cancel and we should wait for refound". Cool beans! Two days after, another notification from the MaxiZoo informing us that, AGAIN, "some items going to be partially cancel". We contacted them through email on the 02/12 and nothing. We call on the 03/12 (detail the customer service only work between 12 and 16) and they still don't know what happened. In the end of the 03/12 day, we contacted again and they cancel AGAIN the order, but told us to wait until tomorrow to contact again to see what happened. NEVER, PLEASE, NEVER BY ONLINE FROM THIS PLACE.
Still without any solution. This is a joke
